Dating back to 1892, Poole Farm is adjacent to the River Tamar, on the Devon and Cornwall border. With free Wi-Fi throughout and free private parking, it is just 15 miles from Dartmoor National Park.
With views over the countryside, the rooms feature antique furniture and artwork. Each includes a king-size bed, a TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and a drench shower.

Review 3：Poole farm is an amazing place to stay, so peaceful. We could not find fault with anything at all, we did not want to leave. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We were offered a Corniche cream tea after our journey, homemade scones and jam, excellent. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay.
Review 4：Every comfort was provided, including a bowl of delicious ripe fruit in the bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom spotless, the setting tranquil and the breakfast superb.

Review 34：The breakfast was excellent, the views from the bedroom of the meadows and countryside were beautiful. The hosts were very friendly, warm and engaging. They have antique display cases with lovely things for sale in the breakfast room, lots of lovely touches throughout the house, including a cart for your luggage, plenty of parking, lots of local leaflets and just a general great atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable. Lovely bath products and a powerful shower.

Review 42：What at fantastic place to stay. We have been to many B&B’s in the UK and Poole Farm has to be at the top the list. David and Diane have done things right! The location is perfect for day trips through Devon and Cornwall. Poole Farm is secluded but with easy access. Our room, The Tarmar, was large with an extremely comfortable bed and the views were lovely. The ensuite bath was spacious and the shower was wonderful. We stayed a week and the breakfasts were fresh, tasty and filling everyday. David and Diane were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much to ask for (David was kind enough to whip up some Eggy Bread even though it is not on the menu) and they are a wealth of knowledge for the area. Finally, be sure and check out The Poole Farm website. It is very well done and has a lot of information as does their Facebook page. We did not want to have to pack up and say farewell. You will be sorry if you pass this one up.

The room was very pretty with nice little touches and a lovely bathroom. We came from London so were a little late, but David was there to welcome us and open the gate for us. He even took our bags in for us. Both wonderful people, and made our stay very happy and comfortable.
