Review 1：We stayed for one night, before the Loch Ness marathon. We wanted a good night sleep, somewhere to cook our own food, and get ready for the run ahead. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The kitchen facilities were just what we were looking for. I would definitely stay again.
Review 2：The heating was incredibly high one evening and we had no way to turn it down. It was turned down eventually and we simply opened the window in the meantime.

Review 6：This is a backpackers hostel and camp site with very good facilities. The restaurant has top quality food. The staff friendly and hard working. Stayed two separate nights and enjoyed the stay.
Review 7：Absolutely no way to use the wi-fi connection, it was impossible to connect at any hour or moment. Not even at late hours, after coming back from dinner. Though they announced serving dinner at the restaurant from 18.00h to 21.00h, there was no dinner available at 20.45h. We understood it might be a little bit too late, but the panel at the door did not say that.

Review 10：This is a hostel so the rooms are not luxury but comfortable and clean. Shared showers etc. All of which were kept clean. There is a bar and restaurant for evenings. The food is as excellent as any good restaurant, or even better. They do not do breakfast but there is a shared kitchen available and café nearby. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Will stay here again.

Review 13：Appalling wifi which is a real problem given weak (2G) phone signal in Fort Augustus (certainly on O2). Had to crawl under the bed to use the power sockets - ill thought out positioning.

Review 17：WiFi was hit and miss, mostly miss, I don't use it much but for those that do, it might be frustrating. Shower is weak and has to be 'pushed on' around every 20-30 seconds. Checkout is between 8 and 10am, I waited outside the office until 8.15 with still no sign of staff and ended up leaving my key in my unlocked room with a note.
Review 18：Location was nice, staff were friendly and polite, my single room was still a decent size. I had a meal in the onsite restaurant which was made quickly and was tasty and hot.
Review 19：My only criticism would be that all the doors in the lodge bang very loudly - so if you want to be up at six, it's fine, if you fancied a lie in you'll struggle
