Review 1：The fact no heating on in november and when we requested it be put on it was not long enough to heat the room mouldy smell in the building tired furnishings mould on toast at breakfast the owner just said he didnt know how that happened .had to buy a heater as it was so cold

Review 9：I booked on behalf of 2 gentlemen who work for us and left messages on the hotels phone and answer machine to say that I would ring at 8am the following morning to pay for the rooms,but I also left every contact number email , mobile etc, if there was a problem and to ring me asap for payment... they didn't answer any telephone call and didn't listen or read their messages and made the 2 guests very uncomfortable !! we are local people with a number of businesses, and will definatley not use this hotel ever again or recommend it
Review 10：the narrow & quite steep stairs! Saturday night noise from nearby entertainment which did subside around midnight which is fine, but woken at 4 a.m by what sounded like four people in the street below talking very loudly for quite a while.

Review 13：Completely stress free parking a big plus with a very short walk to shops, beach and the station (for both main line and the steam trains for Dartmouth) and only a little further for the theatre. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent Breakfast.
Review 14：The wifi seemed to cut in and out, but it wasn't a major problem as we didn't vitally need the internet. Walls are very thin so you can hear into the next room which meant we had a poor nights sleep on the Saturday..but again not a big problem as it's what you would expect from a lively holiday resort!

The staff were lovely..very friendly and helpful and even let us leave the car in their car park after we had checked out so we didn't need to pay for a day's parking elsewhere. Amazing breakfast and very generous with teas and coffees.we will definately be coming back
Review 16：Breakfast would have been excellent if hadn't been just a bit too greasy. Had to mop the fried egg with a serviette and the hash brown seemed to have sucked up a lot of the fat from the pan. Location would have been excellent if it wasn't for the fact that it was so close to the front that there seemed to be a constant stream of loud people standing outside our bedroom window up until about 2.30 am. Had our room been on the other side of the building I'm sure it would have been perfect.
Review 17：Spotlessly clean, lovely room, good location, helpfulness, value for money. Parking available. Didn't need to use the car, buses and ferries got us everywhere we wanted to go.

Review 41：This hotel could do with refurbishment. It doesn't look as though it has had any thing done for years. There was no choice of menu of breakfast, and no time to get ready, because last breakfast was no later than 9oclock. Everything seemed to be run on a shoestring

Review 43：The room was lovely and clean. The bathroom also clean but the shower showed signs of age. Location was fab for beach and main street. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was good. Managed to ensure mine was gluten free which was great. I would return there if ever that way

Review 46：It was freezing cold. I informed them the time we were arriving, itwould have been good if they left a blanket and the heating on even atlow temperatures. I had to put my coat over the duvet and still wasshivering for a long time. Secondly, the ventilation of the common areas, especially the breakfast was not good. The smell of the breakfaststuck on my hair and clothes whole day.
