Review 1：An elegant and chic home with welcoming hosts. We felt relaxed and it was an easy walking distance to the main centre. One of the highlights of our five week holiday
Review 2：The owners are extremely hospitable, the rooms large and beautifully appointed and the breakfast in a lovely conservatory looking out onto the garden was fresh & delicious. It is hard to find but easy walking distance to central Valenciennes which had lots of restaurants and was charming. On top of this, Air France lost our luggage and a owners and friend of theirs did all they could to assist us including escorting us to an after-hours doctor to have lost meds prescribed. We can't praise the owners enough.
Review 3：Difficult place to find. Four month old satnav did not recognize actual address and was not up to date for latest one way system.
Review 4：Quiet and attractive setting. Good breakfast with plentiful choice considering small size of establishment. Most comfortable bed of six different stops this holiday.

Review 7：There was no bathroom only a free standing bathtube being the centerpiece in the room with no alternative. Low positioned beams over the bed. We managed to change the room but at a cost.

Review 9：It was very hot in the bedroom, ideally it needs proper air conditioning as the fan unit was very load. We loved everything else about the place.

Review 11：It was a delight to arrive here after a long, delay-ridden journey through the Eurotunnel. The host, Michel, was very genial and welcomed us with a glass of wine. He happily made reservations for us at a nearby restaurant. The property is superb with lots of style but also very comfortable. The walled garden (complete with a dogs, cats and rabbits) was a perfect play area for the children. Our only regret is that we couldn't have stayed longer!

Review 13：Alles was in orde, maar door de hoge score waren onze verwachtingen waarschijnlijk te hoog. Het ontbijt was lekker, maar gewoon. De tuin was heel mooi, het huis was zeer smaakvol ingericht, maar onze kamer was door de lage balken iets minder praktisch, zeker niet ideaal voor grote mensen!
