Review 1：Hotel is pretty anonymous, undergoing a refurbishment which seems to go at slow pace. Cleaning could honestly be better. No in-room service, TV has limited channels (only French, no foreign)
Review 2：Fairly priced, very friendly staff. Location is pretty central, walking distance from railway station and restaurants/bars, Rue de Lille has many kebab stores. Free WiFi but not very strong in room. Low cost, abundant and nice French breakfast (€7).
Review 3：*** Wifi didn't work.*** Creaky, badly adjusted and noisy intermediate and room doors just outside room. Some bulbs in room burned out.
Review 4：Good location in middle of Valenciennes, a short walk from railway station. I requested and got a quiet room on the courtyard side. All basic facilities (except wifi) of room work. Work table and chair. Late checkout time (noon).

Review 6：Quiet room, nice staff, plenty of plugs, wifi works, big work table with pleasant view on courtyard (I requested and got a courtyard room), close to train station and city centre.
Review 7：Breakfast charged separately and rather poor. Breakfast room in hotel 'lobby' was small and rather chaotic. Rooms are reached by outdoor stairs that become lethally slippy when wet.

Review 9：The hotel provides good value for the money - the room was clean and well arranged, the furniture was brand new, the location is excellent - it iss right next to the train station and 5 mins by foot to the city center.
Review 10：The hotel is being refurbished and looks like a building site in thecourtyard and in the corridors as you walk up to the rooms with noattempt to hide rubbish and debris from the building works, my room wasclean and newly decorated with a complete new bathroom however thebedroom furniture was old with laminate broken and coming off.
Review 11：Room for improvement should focus on breakfast. It would hit the spot when the quality of the coffee is good and some additional goods to put on your bread would be available. Rooms were not isolated very well. It was a bit noisy. But it's been taken care of. It's being rebuilded completely.
