Reviews for Hôtel le Subrini
Review 1:Tacky furnishing, not clean and a very dark room with bad ventilation, felt almost like being inside a cave. This hotel should only be considered as a place for sleeping, but nothing else.
Review 2:The only positive with this hotel was the wifi.
Review 3:Expensive for the quality level, breakfast with bees and flies dusturbing around and even found bees inside the marmalade jar!
Review 4:Convenience location, garage and car park
Review 5:Very bad WLAN, dark rooms, not really a sea view (you have to look around the corner). Noisy rooms, you will be waken up regularly by people moving chairs around while taking their breakfast and closing their doors.
Review 6:The location of the hotel and the village in general!
Review 7:Toilet and bathroom did not have working exhaust fans No fridge No jug to make tea and coffee Cold taps were hot, hot taps hotter
Review 8:Location was great, Space was good
Review 9:Exceeds expectations for a three star hotel. A fridge would have been a nice to have.
Review 10:Excellent value for money. Amazing location and friendly staff. Very big clean and comfortable rooms. And that view... :) We also enjoyed access to the pool 50m up the road.
Review 11:Sea view only if you put your head out of window! Enclosed balcony. Towels rough, no plug in sink, no spare toilet paper. At checkin really tried to sell boat trip ticket. On site parking away from hotel up the hill.
Review 12:Location. Spacious room but weird enclosed bAlcony.
Review 13:Situated close to the water, restaurants and boat excursion facilities, this hotel stands out for the space offered. We had a balcony with a great view, an alcove dining section, a dressing room with suitcase stand, a second suitcase stand and a large wardrobe.
Review 14:The room outdated and in need of refreshing. Breakfast is very basic.
Review 15:The hotel is located opposite the beach in front of the very nice inlet the room is spacious and functional. Ample public parking opposite the hotel. Wifi in the room.
Review 16:There was not a single thing to critizise
Review 17:-Very friendly people, Porto is a nice location on Corsica visitors have to see, room always clean and beds are good, the rooms towards the bay with balkony offer a beautiful sunset in the evening to relax, breakfast was very nice, overall a perfect stay
Review 18:Beyond the control of the hotel, but a refrigerator truck parked outside with engine running for over an hour
Review 19:Location was good, offered proximity to a lot of dining choices. Room was spacious.
Review 20:Nothing. It was all very good.
Review 21:Good value for money. We had a room with a balcony facing the water so very nice. Nice room, modern bathroom. Wifi worked well in room. 9 euro buffet breakfast with limited selection for cost but breakfasts in Corsica seem quite expensive for what you get.
Review 22:The decoration was quite old and not very design. The window in our room was too smal to comfortably enjoy the beautiful view over the bay. The parking is quite far from the hotel (when you've got heavy luggage to carry ;-)).
Review 23:Free and easy parking in an area where parking can be a challenge and expensive. The staff was very professional. The location is ideal. You'll enjoy the sunset over the bay in the evening and there is plenty of restaurant just next door. The size of the room is better than most of the hotel in the area.
Review 24:The lack of a minibar (or a small refrigerator) in the room.
Review 25:The location was perfect, right across the small town center and near to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and cozy, spacious and well segmented. The buffer zone created by the loggia and the dressing provided both thermal and phonic isolation from the outside. The balcony had a south exposure permitting a 180 degrees view, starting from the mountains, downwards to the Genoese tower and ending to the sea. The room was clean and that was maintained on a daily basis. Something rarely seen among the three star hotels (or at least not in France), was the fact that the bed sheets as well as the towels were changed every day. The presence of a safe deposit box in the room came as a nice surprise. The staff was nice, helpful and discreet. Limited, but enough choice, was available for the open buffet breakfast. There hotel provided a private parking few buildings away. The village was nice but the beach was rocky. Being exposed to the west coast of the island, the sea proved unstable each time bad weather stroke the island. Although a great spectacle, high waves were in for few days in a row making the sea impractical for any kind of activity. During those days, on the opposite coast, probably due the proximity to the Italian coast that provided some sort of protection, the sea was perfectly calm.
Review 26:rooms with very simple decoration.
Review 27:View to the ocean and Genoese Tower, private balcony, immediate public parking facilities.
Review 28:Parking about two blocks away, although free!
Review 29:Wonderful location. Staff very friendly, room had a nice balcony overlooking sea.
Review 30:nothing

Review 32:Great view of the sea
Review 33:Parking is not that easy and 200m from Hotel
Review 34:Location, Location, Location Very friendly Staff Amazing view from Balcony

Review 51:Bar was a bit boring and very expensive
Review 52:Rest of stay good
Review 53:Great location, clean, helpful staff, comfortable rooms.
Review 54:we struggled with WIFI. At times it was slow, but was workable.
Review 55:abundant breakfast, free parking, good location, nice view, cleanliness
Review 56:Parking is not on site, just a short walk
Review 57:At the port very convenient
Review 58:Hotel pool in other hotel.
Review 59:Location in the center, small balcony with nice view to see. Breakfast ok.
Review 60:The breakfast was quite poor, even for normal standard.
Review 61:Great place near the sea.
Review 62:splendid sea view
Review 63:Brusque staff. Very utilitarian hotel. Needs updating our balcony was like a rabbit hutch so enclosed and hot.
Review 64:View
Review 65:location is superlative; wonderful view very kind staff; breakfast in the lodge; parking very close.
Review 66:Shower very weak, decor a bit dated but fine
Review 67:Location, view from the room, sound proofing
Review 68:Staff were very average, breakfast was poor for what you are charged.
Review 69:Good position
Review 70:- Balcony too enclosed
Review 71:- Location - View - Parking
Review 72:The Location, the Staff, the Breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Review 73:but that's all.
Review 74:Perfect location,
Review 75:Shower over bath. No hooks in bathroom. Breakfast adequate but not as much choice as in other hotels we stayed in on this holiday. No restaurant. High cost only justified by excellent location close to port and the heart of this beautiful little town.
Review 76:Location, location, private parking (150 metres from hotel). Comfortable clean room with a view from our balcony of the Genoese tower opposite. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
Review 77:Staff was so nice despite our very late check-in time (1am). Greeted us warmly, helped us get settled in and helped us with reservations at our next location. Hotel's location excellent. Rooms simple but comfortable. Nice, simple breakfast included with our stay - coffee/tea, croissants, ham, yoghurt, cereal. We recommend this place.
Review 78:No fridge/minibar. Pool located in another hotel.
Review 79:Friendly staff and great location next to the sea in the middle of the town/village. Large rooms.
Review 80:Pillow very small and uncomfortable. Bedrooms perfectly adequate but maybe time for an update... Recommendation of eating at the Riviera restaurant to be avoided.
Review 81:Spacious room with lots of storage. Free private parking. Sister hotel Eden Park which is 4kms away has a very good restaurant, definitely worth the drive.
Review 82:Room was a great size for our family of 4, balcony small and enclosed but did have ocean view. Free parking, free breakfast, great value for money. We didnt try the pool, so I cannot comment on that.
Review 83:They promoted that they had a pool but it was not true. They referred toa pool at another hotel that we could use. Not quite the same
Review 84:It was price worthy
Review 85:No negatives about the hotel, but the girl serving in the café/barnext door (part of the hotel) was quite rude. When I tried to catch herattention on the evening of our arrival, she told me "I'mcoming" with such attitude that we left and went to another placefor a beer.
Review 86:This is the perfect location for a wonderful sunset. It is situated atthe end of the village, so there is no through traffic. There are greatviews from rooms at the front of the hotel. We requested a balcony andwere able to enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun go down. The room was very big-one of the biggest on our 2-week trip. The wc was separate and the bathroom was huge also. There was a handy little dressing room beside an inner balcony. The outer balcony was large enough for two chairs. The décor was quite dated, but the whole place was spotless. We were late down to breakfast, but the manager kindly gave us breakfast in the adjoining bar/café. We would definitely stay again.
Review 87:The hotel is described as luxurious, but the price reflects it 3 star status.
Review 88:This hotel is where you want to be in Porto, right down on the lower level, so you have easy access to the boat excursions. Breakfast was included in the price.
Review 89:Difficulty with wifi; broken drawer; safe not working. Parking and swimming pool were some way from the hotel.
Review 90:Balcony; sea view; breakfast on the terrace; pleasant staff.Free parking.
Review 91:Beach side location .Hotel is close to good restaurants .but hotel is too expensive.
Review 92:Expensive with poor facilities.breakfast very poor.location very good.
Review 93:Fairly expensive for what you get apart from location
Review 94:Location can't be better
Review 95:The location is excellent, but it's a really small city... Great swimming pool. Good breakfast
Review 96:Sensational view from our balcony room. V. Happy with boat tour organised and booked through reception. Good car parking.
Review 97:A bit too simple breakfast.
Review 98:Nice location with a great view; it is very quiet.
Review 99:Amazing sunsets with a great view across to the watch tower.
Review 100:Hotel has an excellent location with a great view on a sea site and mountains in the back.
Review 101:The breakfasts were a bit basic
Review 102:Staff were very friendly The room with a balcony was very nice
Review 103:Great location close to the Marina. Nice breakfast.
