Reviews for Fraskoula's Rooms
Review 1:Absolutely loved my stay. 5 minute walk from the beach, market, a wonderful authentic Greek restaurant and the bus stop. The cute room we stayed in was very clean and perfect for the 4 of us. The host family was wonderful, providing directions, suggestions and helping us with our rental car. Great value for your money and the pool (next door at their cousin's property, but available for our use) was beautiful over looking the ocean. Very wonderful experience and I would never stay anywhere else in Mykonos!
Review 2:This is such a special place. We spent two nights here at the end of a trip around various Greek islands and it was a great end to our holiday. The family are very helpful and welcoming. We were met at the ferry port at the start of our stay, dropped off at the airport at the end, and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. We had a beautiful room at the top of the building with a balcony and a gorgeous view out to sea. The bus stop into Mykonos town is just a couple of minutes' walk away and the buses run every hour. They run late into the evening, so if you want a night out in town it's easy to get back, but we preferred to eat at Limnios tavern, which is a just a few moments from the hotel and serves gorgeous food. The beach is an easy walk down some steps and is lovely. Highly recommended!
Review 3:My sister and I loved staying at Fraskoula's! Ana and Dimitris were fantastic:) We were given rides from the airport and to the ferry port as well. The room was always clean, there is a beautiful beach down below. We highly recommend staying here! We personally loved the location, but it is a bit of a walk into town (30 minutes). The bus stop is very close by though or there is always the option of renting an ATV for ease of transportation if walking is an issue.
Review 4:It is very close to the new port and old town. It is also close to the beach. They took us from new port and then took us to the airport. The transfers were all free of charge.
Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:All the responsibles are very kind. We took the airport and aldo we took back to it. Place of the otel is very good beach is very close also there is very close to a liitle market and rent office. With one bus you can go to center. Our rooms is very good and view amazing.
Review 7:WIFI only worked with our room door open and standing within 5 feet of the open door. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The air conditioner wanted to turn itself off 10 sec after we turned it on. If we finally got it to stay on we left it on when we went out for the day and came back to it turned off because the person who cleaned our room would shut if off. It was very frustrating especially with the temperature being 30-35 degrees Celsius. Also between the road noise right behind our room, the noisy fridge in our room and the other loud noises outside the front door of our room, I was required to wear ear plugs in order to get any sleep. The room we stayed in felt like an add-on to the property and did not look anything like the advertised pictures from the booking site.
Review 8:We appreciated the free rides to and from the airport and the owners were very helpful, although we rarely saw them. The room was nice and close to the Flaskos Pool Bar and was about a five minute walk from the nearest beach.
Review 9:Wifi didn't work well but we didn't have to use it anyway so we didn't care.
Review 10:The oweners, Anna in particular was very kind, friendly and helpful, she was even speaking French with us:-) The location only 5min by bus/scooter from Mykonos city The bathroom was nice The hotel was 5min walk from the bach (stairs perfect for the work out:) Nice view During the high season at Mykonos, the prices are totally unreasonable but at Fraskoula the value for money is really fair compared to most hotels in the area.
Review 11:Rooms were fare from what they sale in the pictures; bouncy fridge, old rusty wc furniture, broken shower hanger, no wardrobe, fragile bed... Both beach and bus stop were 20m away. Definitely over priced even for high season! For 2 thirds of the price we could have stayed in the city center in front of the beach with breakfast included.
Review 12:Rooms are runed by a lovely family, very welcoming, caring and available. They picked us up and dropped us off several times. They toke the stains out of one of my shirts, gave me medicine for headache, gave me figs, you name it!
Review 13:Very helpful and informative gave us loads of information about best beaches restaurants etc. Room was modern and spacious and the bus running to the town is a two minute walk
Review 14:Wifi signal was a little bit low and the way walking to the city center was a little bit long.
Review 15:Was the best hostel that I stayed in Greece! The reception was awesome, the owner of the hostel picked us up at the port and the rooms were new and perfectly cleaned!
Review 16:The fact that we had to check out.
Review 17:We were given such a warm welcome, they went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay possible! The rooms were fabulous, very homely and with everything you'd need. Would have loved to have stayed longer. You really won't be disappointed.
Review 18:The hosts were a genuinely nice Greek family that were so warm and welcoming from the moment they picked me up at the ferry to when they dropped me off. They gave great advice on where to go and what to see and eat and the room was very comfortable with everything I could possibly need. No complaints at all.
Review 19:Modern rooms-very clean and every day cleaned-with homely atmosphere nearby the Ag. Stefanos beach. The transfer to the airport and the port is free. The owners, Anna and Dimitri, are friendly, helpful and treat you with extra care. Below the rooms there is a beautiful local greek taverna and an amazing pool. We stayed there two nights and three days and the best feature were the owners, Anna and Dimitri, who did everything possible to make aur stay enjoyable. From now on, Anna and Dimitri are our new friends ih the island of Mykonos. We'll be back soon...Much Love!!!
Review 20:I had stayed two nights and the owner Demitry and Anna were very friendly. The accommodation is close to a bus stop and the surrounding is very quite. You can view the ocean from the hotel swimming area and I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay!
Review 21:Buses from Agios Stefanos don't start running until after 9am, so you have to figure out transfers or taxis for any early activities. Food options at the nearby beach are a bit bland.
Review 22:Family-owned, very personal service and lots of info provided up front. Good value for the size of room we got (quad). Room was very bright and airy, we even had a peek-a-boo sunset view from our private balcony! Access to an excellent saltwater pool at the adjacent property, with great pool bar. Really appreciated the ferry pick-up and drop-off. Local restaurant on the corner is excellent! Also a convenience store located downstairs from the pool. Just a couple minutes' walk to the bus stop for new and old ports, and about a 10-minute walk to the new port. Short downhill walk to a nice beach, aside from the fact that there's about 100 steps going back up...
Review 23:Fraskoulas rooms is run by the most amazing couple they picked us up from the airport and were so inviting the room had the most spectacular view from the balcony. Below the rooms there is a beautiful local Greek restaurant that serves amazing food and at good prices. The pool area was a bonus and you can hire quadbikes from below the rooms aswell :) lastly it is less than a 2 minute walk to the beach which was great.
Review 24:Nothing to dislike but remember these are rooms and not a 5 star hotel.
Review 25:The best feature of this property were the owners who did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Anna and Dimitri were excellent including providing transport to and from the ferry port and airport. The rooms were very clean and well kept The location was outside of Mykonos town but within a 30 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride. There are several good value restaurants within walking distance
Review 26:No shampoo or soap in the bathroom, no change of towels. Must be in great shape to climb up from the beach.
Review 27:View, location out of the bustle, but convenient by bus. Warm, informative family run business. Great pool restaurant nearby. Wonderful taverna for Greek dinner! Our room had great AC which we needed in August!
Review 28:The apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable, air conditioned, nice swimming pool and in a good location. The staff were lovely. They were helpful right from the moment they picked us up from the port. They were able to help with any questions or problems. They helped us organise quadbikes for a good price. Highly recommended. The apartments are 2 minutes from the port and beach by quadbike and 5 minutes from the main town. There is a minimart right next to the apartments and a few restaurants within walking distance.
Review 29:Nothing to dislike!
Review 30:We travelled as a family of five and stayed for two spells of two nights each. The owners Anna and Dimitri were the most fantastic hosts who made the visit so special. They fulfilled all our needs and made us feel completely at home. The location was great with plenty of good restaurants (the Liminos and Petran were particularly good) within walking distance. The rooms were rooms (i.e.not a 5 star hotel) but were very comfortable and very clean with a small sitting out area. There was good aircon and lots of hot water for the shower! There was a pool attached to the rooms with a fantastic view over the bay. Dimitri did several pick ups to and from and to the port and airport and was a great character. Anna should be running a major hotel chain as she was incredibly efficient and unbelievably friendly! We will be back!
Review 31:A bit far from things but there is a reliable bus to the city. No direct bus routes to any other places on the island though. Bathroom flooded when showering, but I found that to be typical of most places in Greece
Review 32:Great access to pool and poolside bar with good food. Very close to a great beach. The owners are lovely people and very helpful.
Review 33:There was 114 steps down to the beach which was a bit tough coming up in the heat but worth it all and we would highly recommend it.
Review 34:very nice modern rooms. great pool. magnificent beach. Anna and Dimitri were very helpful and nice and picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.
Review 35:Very small double room which feels like in a dungeon due to poor lighting and small space. The rooms are a long walk from the beach especially when going up the hill. The bathroom is simply too small. The wi-fi pretty much does NOT exist and the owners ignore the problem. Taxi is a huge problem because waiting times in Mykonos town are usually 30 min. Car rental is expensive for Greek standards but is absolutely necessary.
Review 36:Absolutely Nothing!!!
Review 37:My stay at Fraskoula's Rooms was absolutely fabulous. I've never been more satisfied. The owners were extremely helpful, caring and generous. The moment my family and I got off the boat at the port, the owners of Fraskoula's picked us up and took us to their property, which was only a 4 minute drive. When we arrived, we were greeted by Anna and her husband Dimitri in English and our rooms were immediately ready. The moment we walked in to our rooms, we were amazed at how spacious and clean it was. We even had a mini kitchen, which was a huge plus. The pool was also amazing. Dimitri met us at the pool and gave us information about what to do on the island, which was extremely helpful. The pool staff were also accommodating and the food served in the pool area was delicious. From the pool area, you have a great view of Agia Stefanos beach. This view was mesmerizing. The beach is about 4 minutes walking distance from the hotel. When my family and I would return from the beach we were always greeted by Anna's mom and cleaning staff. They were generous to lend us beach towels and recommend their suggestions on what to do in Mykonos. Below the pool you can rent a 4 wheeler motor bikes for 20 Euros a day. You can even ask the owners to reserve/rent a car for you, which was approximately 40-50 Euros a day. This is helpful to travel to other beaches and to the Xora of Mykonos. Overall, we stayed at Fraskoula's for 3 nights and 4 days and our stay was phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends in the U.S. and Greece.. Thanks again Fraskoula's Rooms for your hospitality. Much love!!!
Review 38:Free transfer to the port and airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was huge with a very nice balcony. Nice commom pool with a great view to the beach.
Review 39:Staff and owners with excellent service Lovely pool and bar with fantastic view Owner arranged 'rooms to let' on our next island Koufonissi which also was excellent
Review 40:A suggestion that a light be provided near the stairway to the newly furbished two studios where I stayed as this was very dark and very close to the public road for safety in coming back late in the night.
Review 41:Dimitry and Anna were very friendly and hospitable and provided knowledge of the island and good greek cuisine restaurant suggestions upon arrival. However as the location is at the top of the hill a car would be more convenient to get around easily in the heat, even though the bus service down at the beach is regular too. The swimming pool and cafe and bar available for Fraskoula to use is lovely with sunbeds, shower and amazing view of the bay and all the cruise ships in the harbour!
Review 42:distance to the main attraction a bit far...maybe a free shuttle service could be nice about 4 times a day...
Review 43:The owners for there friendly and helpful advice. Homely atmosphere.Free pick up and drop off. Lovely pool and restaurant and shop. Close to small beach. Quad hire available.
Review 44:Good people and good place!
Review 45:The owners are great people. They are very helpful in every way. The view of our room was perfect. I missed the balcony allready.

Review 48:Everything was perfect for us. We just would have liked to stay longer.
Review 49:Hospitality of Ana and her team are great

Review 53:Staff were gorgeous! So helpful and lovely. Rooms were clean and very homey
Review 54:Gratis-Shuttle vom Flughafen und zum Hafen Super-freundliche Gastgeber Gute Lage am Agios Stefanos Ruhig Meerblick
Review 55:Quiet place, really nice people, quite confortable, easy access, near the beach
Review 56:great location, pool, staff were excellent
Review 57:there is nothing to complain about.
Review 58:the place, the people and the help with any potential difficulty. friendliest of places.
Review 59:The location is amazing, also Ana and her husband are very friendly, they make you feel at home
Review 60:Nice view good location
Review 61:Very overprised like every accomodation fascilities on the island during summer season
Review 62:Quiet location just a few kilometers from downtown. Nice rooms
Review 63:Good location, clean place, and good price compared to other places in the island.
Review 64:Very friendly owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and treat you with extra care.
Review 65:Location, steps, balcony. Booked for a kitchenette only had a fridge with electric kettle on the top and minimal crockery.
Review 66:We loved staing here, Dimitri (the owner) and his wife were the nicest people, they pick us up in the port and took us back too, and Dimitri tolds us everything that we have to do, where to eat, what beaches were the best, they help us rent a car, everything was perfect and the room was very nice and clean!
Review 67:The area was great and the family/owners were really helpful and genuine, We Will stay here again. Note.. Air port pick up was a great help and worth the money
Review 68:Nothing, really enjoyed it
Review 69:Nice room, great spot for us as very near a quiet beach within easy walking distance. Owner really friendly and helpful room well maintained and kept clean great views over the sea. All good really
Review 70:Really pleased we found this accomodation as me & my boyfriend both thought this place is a lovely little jewel. We had no idea they had a gorgeous ample sized pool with bay views, as we only booked one night either end of our weeks holiday because we were unable to get a ferry (due to plane arrival/departure times) across to the nearby island we had booked to stay on. But since staying at Fraskoula's rooms we both agree we'd prefer to stay here all week in future. Would definitely book to stay here again. Although isn't within main town area, is only 5min cheap taxi fare away & is also quieter because of this. Our room was clean & modern & had balcony with view of beach. Air con free & worked well & quiet, also had basic tea making facilities & hairdryer, bathroom was also gorgeous (ours was the orange one in the photo's on their site). There is a lovely Taverna almost next door to the rooms so is perfect if you dont like walking any distances to restaurants etc. Very good for the price & couple who run it were extremely friendly & helped us with any queries, their english was very good indeed. And they offer shuttle service to & from ferry port & airport (free if stayin 2 nights) but only small fee of €10 in total if not booked 2 nights but is worth it as take you as close as you can get to where you need to be. This place made our holiday better than we expected.
Review 71:That we didn't have the time to stay longer.
Review 72:The most incredibly friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, clean and well equipped with a balconey and stunning view over the bay. The pool and poolside area was fantastic - again with great views over the bay.
Review 73:We loved the view from our room and that we all had plenty of space as well. It was a very clean place to stay and had wonderful staff to help us with anything we needed. Our trip was made so much better just by the wonderful people who rented our room to us. We also of course loved the pool! Thank you so much!
Review 74:Our room was a bit noisy and dark.
Review 75:Pickup from airport and transfer to port was very helpful. Anna is so kind and friendly. 5 min walking distance beach is one of the best in Mykonos.
Review 76:I like the fact that there is a free pickup from the Port and the owner also took my baggage to the port when leaving Mykonos. The place is near the beach of Agios Stefanos and just a bus ride to the town. I will definitely stay again to this place.
Review 77:Free transportation to/from port is really convenient. The owner Anna and her husband are really kind and hospitable. They gave us lots of suggestions for our short stay in mykonos. Definitely good value for the money
Review 78:nothing
Review 79:The friendliness of the staff, and the use of the beautiful pool and view was amazing. We were a group of 8 people and we all enjoyed our stay.
Review 80:sometimes in the night "crazy people" with quadro bikes running around the streets
Review 81:Very friendly staff, ready to help , incredible view over the gulf and beach, very close to a quiet beach, and close to city center, good value for the money
Review 82:It is a little section of Mykonos town, so it is advisable to rent a vehicle, prices at the pool bar are a bit expensive, but in the tone of what is around Mykonos, which is generally expensive.
Review 83:Responsible for the establishment give a great reception, very familiar, very good facilities, great views and very cozy.Overall we liked, if I ever come back to visit Mykonos, sure I come back to stay.
Review 84:Although its close to the port, its a bit far from Mykonos town. There is a bus; but better to rent you own transport (can be done close to the hotel)
Review 85:Free pickup from the port, room was comfortable, very clean, wel designed and the view... amazing.
Review 86:Beautiful and clean rooms, very friendly staff, free airport transfer, great location - for sure the best choice to stay in Mykonos if you are looking for a budget hotel!
Review 87:The wc shower had a very small curtain. It seems to be a general problemin Greece; The access to the bus was a bit far from the house.
Review 88:The staff was very friendly and took time to explains us everything weneeded to know about the island; Free access to the swimming pool; Freetransfers in our first and last day;
Review 89:The kettle didn't work :(
Review 90:The hosts were absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and treated us like family. The rooms weren't located too close to town with all the tourists and traffic. It was quiet and peaceful and even had easy access to a quieter, family beach and pool-side bar. Can't wait to return here.
Review 91:We loved staying here. The hosts were extremely hospitable, transported us, gave us info and made us welcome. We loved the views, the pool and the atmosphere. Thank you!
Review 92:Family who runs the hotel really nice, very helpull ,the explainned all what you need to know of Mykonos (touirist, places to eat) Swimminpool, price- qualtiy excelent CLose to the city center taking a car or bus
Review 93:The welcome from Anna was amazing! We were picked up from the airport, given a choice of rooms and advice on what to do in the area. They could not have been more lovely and were incredibly keen to help with any questions we had and went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous holiday. The nearby beach was beautiful (if rather windy) and the pool (which was even closer) overlooked the sea. The room was basic but more than adequate for our needs, and the location was great with a few bars and tavernas nearby, and easy access to Mykonos Town.
Review 94:We had to leave soo soon.
Review 95:We were met at the port and instantly felt very welcome. We booked in for 2 nights for our flight back to the UK and regret not able to stay any longer. Everything in the room was clean, bedding, towels and the room was en-suite. There is a swimming pool attached to the complex and a mini market below. We were going into the town centre and were offered a lift by the owner. Unfortunately as we were only there while we did not remember his name, but he is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay there enjoyable.
Review 96:Loved our rooms and the extremely friendly feel right at home atmosphere Everybody was so helpful especially getting us a van to rent and where to site see I would most definetly recommend this place Very clean and best of all beautiful location thanks for making our stay a great one!
Review 97:Wonderful rooms in a great quiet area just up from and walking distance to the beautiful Agios Stefanis beach lovely lovely people even free pick up the bus is close to catch 15 minutes to Mykonos town and its a better place to stay The view from our window room 7 was extraordinary !!!!!!
Review 98:- the dishes weren't clean when we arrived and we had to wash them in the bathroom because there was nowhere else to do it. - the location is very bad if you want to go out. The bus leaves every hour but only until midnight. After that you had to take a taxi from town, and because there were so many people and so few cars, it usually took us over half an hour. There are no sidewalks so would not recommend walking at night unless you want to get hit by the crazy drivers. - while the people running the hotel seemed nice at first, when there was some trouble with our ferry upon leaving, and they had said they would drive us to the port, they lied and said that the car wasn't working. In fact, we saw then with their car later by the port. Would not recommend this hotel.
Review 99:The pool facilities were nice
Review 100:Really nice rooms and swimming pool, 5minutes walk from the beach, and the family was super-friendly, we got free transportation from the port without even asking, we would definitly come back.
Review 101:Friendly owners; close to a nice beach. Great bed and very nice rainshower. Swimming pool across the street that you can use for free with very beautiful views.
Review 102:The hotel is a bit far from Mykonos. It took me 30-40 minutes to walk to the city. Of course, there is a bus service but it runs every hour and I happened to never be synced with it. The bus stops are not quite obvious either. The wifi wasn't working in the room. You had to go by the pool. And, my fridge wasn't working.
Review 103:The best thing with this hotel is without a doubt its excellent guest service. Anna, the owner (with her mom and husband) was so kind! She spoke french, which I enjoyed being a French Canadian. Anna and Dimitri came to pick me up at the port (without me asking) and she even gave me a ride to Mykonos in the morning (even if I actually asked for a taxi) and brought my luggages at the port when leaving the island. Anna showed me 3 rooms when I arrived and let me choose the one I preferred. The room itself was well decorated, clean and quiet. And Mykonos was charming and surprisingly peaceful (I heard it was a party place... But I didn't see that...). And the fact that no car or scooter is allowed in the city (where the tourists are) helped a lot lowering the stress.
Review 104:Not suitable for people with walking difficulties
Review 105:View from room (room 7) Friendly owners (Demitri & Anna) Useful info of island from Demitri Close to lovely beach
Review 106:We get the best information about tavernas and sightsseings from the owners. The rooms were very clean. Amazing view to the Aegean and the Harbour New stylish bathrooms Dimitri picked us up from airport and brought us back. Very polite.
Review 107:A bit problematic to pay only one night with card, WIFI signal is low inside.Breakfast is a bit expensive at the neighbour, the nearest market is on the beach after a lot of steps.
Review 108:Friendly staff, taxi is 5EUR from the city centre. Good view, free transfer from the (air)port.
