On top of the lovelylocation, the offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station. This is a surprising and much appreciated offer. In the morning, Elainereturned us to the bus station. Very clean, very comfortable, a large wonderful bedroom with private bath and shower, not a single spot of dust anywhere ! A delicious breakfast, scottish or with smoked salmon if you're a bit bored of beans every morning ;-) I highly recommend this B&B and didn't find any better during the whole trip !

Review 94:Nothing at all.

Review 95:Elaine and John are very, very friendly people; they are very willing to give you advice when asked, breakfast is fine, the room and the bathroom are very clean and pleasant to stay in and the place itself is heaven when you're looking for a nice and quiet place to stay. Very recommendable. Fort Augustus is not too big and not too small: it's got a shop for your groceries, enough places to eat, a shop for souvenirs and a petrolstation. That's all I need. A good base to explore the Highlands. Will come back.

Review 96:Not necessarily a drawback, the house is a little farther from the town. If you are the kind to want to stay in the middle of town, this is not the place.

Review 97:The hosts were considerate, and provided accurate directions and coordinates to use on a GPS unit in advance of our trip. The breakfast was sumptuous, tasty, and more importantly, took our special needs into consideration and prepared it accordingly. The house and rooms have been maintained wonderfully and provides an air of warmth. The hosts were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful about the area and must-see touristic spots.
