Reviews for Agii Apostoli
Review 1:Simply incredible for what we needed! I stayed here with my bridesmaids in the run up to my wedding. Irini was incredibly helpful and always on hand. Rooms were always clean fresh and well looked after. Great location for relaxation and the lovely iguana beach. Our new favourite hotel, Thankyou Irini. See you soon!!! Xx
Review 2:Only missing TV :-)
Review 3:The Agii Apostoli aparments is located in very quiet place near to the beach and to lots of coffie bars and restorants.staff and the owner very polite and helpfull people, very clean and big rooms. The only thing that the place need is TV but in such lots of thing to do you will never notice that :-) Very beautifull foof toop terasse :-)
Review 4:The kitchen was definitely poorly equipped and the studio was overlooking the street and rather noisy.
Review 5:We liked very much the proximity to the see(5 min walk) and to markets and restaurants. The family was lindand helpful.wifi for free.
Review 6:We had the idilic little roof top room with fantastic views of the sea and our own private sun bathing area. Eleni, Rita and Vasilis were so friendly and helpful. I was not very well and they looked after me and my husband, always checking on me and offering their services in anyway they could, they really couldn't do enough to ensure we were alright. Everywhere is spotless and the rooms are cleaned everyday. There is a supermarket just to the left of the hotel and the bus stop on the main road to Chania to see the harbour where there is plenty of restaurants and shopping. To the right of the hotel you have a choice of beaches. The area is quite and there are enough restaurants in the area to keep well fed. The hotel is very well located particularly for the beaches and the sunsets are amazing. We couldn't fault this hotel and the amazingly friendly staff they we so hospitable and I couldn't have made it through the holiday without their help. Big big thank you
Review 7:We feel ourselvelves really like at home. Our room was enough for us with a 3yo child and have a small terrace with table under green trees. This hotel has a great location near beaches and markets, very clean room and friendly stuff - that's all we need for quiet leisure family time. Mrs Eleni is very nice person to talk and her hotel is a good place to stay.
Review 8:Sometimes can be noisy because of the live music in the restaurant which is just opposite the hotel
Review 9:Good location, not far from 3 wonderful beaches and a park. Close to 2 main supermarkets in this area. The bus stop in just a few minutes walking. Very friendly staff always ready to help.
Review 10:Friendly helpful hostess. Feel like home. Room faces shady garden which is all what one desires coming from sunbathing and no need to use aircon. Shops are good very close.
Review 11:very nice host, spacious room, very clean and comfortable, very well equipped kitchen, there's a terrace on the roof with beautiful sea and mountains view, available for all guests, a lot of possibilties to park your car near the object, distance to Chania Old port is approx 5km (about 10 min) by car, but this hotel is located on the street with many restaurants and shops (even 24h open), walking to the nearest beach takes less than 10min.
Review 12:Wifi kept failing
Review 13:Owner was very nice, as well as cleaning lady: I put flower in my glass and than when it died I didn't have time to throw it away. When I was back in the evening there was a new fresh flower . It felt very nice!
Review 14:no toaster :o)
Review 15:eleni could not do enough to help you, anytime I asked for a favour the like of printing boarding passes, bus times etc it was no problem and when my friend decided to to come to crete in my secound week she did everything she could to accommodate his stay. I will definitely be back
Review 16:Equipment inside is below expectations: not a single TV set, kitchen has only one hot plate, bathroom was very old and extremely small. Absolutely nothing to do there in evenings, so playing cards or boardgames is a must to be taken. Another annoyance is terrace: very nice but open only between 10 am and 9 or 10 pm. No way to sit there at other time. For this price were better alternatives close, with a swimming pools.
Review 17:Friendly and helpful staff. Cleaning was at the very good level. Apartment is not that far from the beach.
Review 18:Negatives You might not find yourself under the ' malevalent psy***with issues' when you are in No.2 -but just in case they are still there, seek another room from the start. Perversly doors from all rooms were slammed with undue force day and night. Cruelly ironic that the doors would close by themselves as they were spring loaded. Tiled rooms with the behaviour of the 'people' above was precisly like living and sleeping beside a washing machine spinning with stones and marbles. Noise starts when you enter. Probably stops when you leave. Very bizarre. It's not like I ever met this person. Ask for the most sound-proofed room. It might have been a reconstruction or re-enactment of the Battle of Crete, but as a writer of history and someone who has lived close to Air Force bases, the Luftwaffe in 1941 while devastating, would have been less tortuous. I kid you not. Would you prefer loud bangs at certain time I assume there was no bowling alley in this hostel. There is one however in town which the psy*** with her offspring could have used to diffuse their energies. As a sales woman nearby said to me " the room above must be on Red Bull. You should not have to suffer. You are paying and you are on vacation".
Review 19:Initial help of Eleni and Rita when bank didn't realise Crete was part of the EC. and credit card didn't function at ATM's. Water pressure is more than sufficient . Rooms were cleaned (whether it was wished for or required. I apologise to Rita for saying otherwise on the last morning, but I was pushed beyond human tolerance after 11 days of sporadic noise at all hours of the pm and am. I admit that a different room days later after I made the situation known. Emails are selectively replied to. However more than half-way through my 'vacation' I felt that the daily disturbance might cease....eventually. A large percentage of humans would make this mistake. It's a fault in human cognition.
Review 20:Like other reviewers have mentioned, the shower is quite small, but it wasn't an issue for us. Amazing value for money!
Review 21:We've got the "penthouse" room on the roof, featuring wonderful sea view, and, despite being on the small side, it was wonderful, clean, and we had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly, and the owner let us keep the room until late on our departure day. Highly recommended.
Review 22:The beds are very hard and we were lucky to get wifi at even one spot in the room. The shower/bathroom also very small. Has a lot of shops around it but 30-40 minute walk from downtown.
Review 23:Location is very close to the beaches and the rooms are soacious
Review 24:The wifi was spotty most of the time
Review 25:The hostess was seriously the best, super helpful to me and my friends, everyone was friendly, it's only a five minute walk from three great beaches, loved it!
Review 26:The only think that was not working as we expected was WiFi. Connection was very slow sometimes didn't work at all.
Review 27:Very good value for money. Great localisation 3 minutes from the beach and few kilometers from Chania. Rooms were very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful.
Review 28:The owner is a lovely lady that was very welcoming. the room was cleaned everyday! towels twice a week =) very big balcony with a view to the sea. hot waterall the time. I very much recomend the top room with the view.
Review 29:Nothing
Review 30:It is a lovely place to stay! Nice quiet cozy apartment, well decorated. Very good cleaning. So friendly and helpful staff. Mrs Eleni and Rita are the best! WiFi is good and over all these things... Staying in this comfortable and cozy place is always as being home or at best friends. There are four beaches in 5-20 minutes walk. Near the beaches there are two parks. There is a lot of cafes and taverns around the apartments. There are a few small supermarkets around there and INKA and Lidl are about 15 min to go. The bus stop is in 5 min, the trip to the center Chania by bus takes 20 min. Would definitely recommend for location, cleanliness and value for money.
Review 31:Beds were uncomfortable (hard), wifi intermittent, and loud entertainers across the street 3/10 nights until midnight + (not within the control of management)
Review 32:Location, STAFF, price! On-site laundry facility (free)
Review 33:mmm, wait a moment...let me think...nothing!
Review 34:The place is clean & quiet. Everyday coming back from Hania or beaches the room is like the first day(the first day we were positively surprised! :-) ). Some beaches are very near, bus stop for fantastic places like Elafonissi is at about 100meters, a lot of supermarket also are very near. Wifi is good and over all these things... Eleni is very nice & very helpful and caring . She loves her job and does it better. thanks a lot. V & M
Review 35:rather far from the sea WiFi
Review 36:Amazing experience of staying in this quiet and lovely hotel. Rooms are very clean, well designed. The location is fine too, rather far from the sea, but among different restaurants, cafe and local shops. The owner lady understand how to make her guests feel welcomed. She did really everything to help us with our small problems and needs.
Review 37:Very close to the coast and nice beach. The owner Eleni so wonderful and friendly, very clean and nice studios, we felt like home. Quiet area, shops and bus stop is close, to get to Chania centre on foot it took me 40 minutes.
Review 38:I'm not really sure there was anything I didn't like. Of course, you're not paying for a 5-star hotel so don't expect anything too fancy.
Review 39:Clean, well maintained, friendly staff. Great location, very close to Chania and full of free parking spots. And the price is unbeatable.
Review 40:Good location in a perfect area to spend a relaxing holiday, with good beaches in a 10 minutes walk. Quiet atmosphere in room and balcony. Kind staff. Good WiFi.
Review 41:None of this
Review 42:It is a wonderful place to stay! Nice quiet cozy apartment. We lived in a room with a sea view on a last floor. Super! There is a nice patio there and you can lock the door to the roof from 9 PM till 10AM (if you live in a sea view room), so that all patio is yours. Very good cleaning. So friendly and helpful staff. Mrs Eleni is the best! There are four beaches in 5-20 minutes walk. Near the beaches there are two parks, one with giant beautiful trees and one called Platia Kanari. There is a lot of cafés and tavernas around the apartments. Also you can use a swimming pool in other hotel across the street. There are a few small supermarkets around there and one big INKA is about 15 min to go. The bus stop is in 5 min, the trip to the center Chania by bus takes 20 min. Also threre is no problem to rent a car in Agii Apostoli. I recommend this place for sure! And I’m really grateful for the wonderful vacation I spent here!
Review 43:our room was on the side of the street, so there was enough noise at nights if you preferred leaving open the window instead of using the air-conditioner
Review 44:It was the cleanest room we booked ever and we appreciated very much the helpfulness of Mrs Eleni
Review 45:Very noisy at street because of motor bikes and taverna
Review 46:Very nice hostess and cleaning lady. Comfortable beds. Very good cleaning. Supermarkets are in 1 minute walk. 4 beaches and pine forest in 15 minutes walk. Chania in 20-30 minutes by car. Laundry machine for customers.

Review 65:I liked everything about staying in Agii Apostoli .. Eleni was a wonderful host ... available and helpful always ... Also Rita , who assisted her , was really lovely ... nothing was a problem for either of them !! The apartments were always spotlessly clean , had cooking facilities , fridge , etc. I had a wonderful 2 weeks there ..
Review 66:I wish that time on roof is not limited from 10am-9pm. Or next time to stay in apartment on roof :)
Review 67:Eleni is perfect host. It was more than we expected. And it was positive surprise. Roof was perfect place ad great view. Beach is 5 min walking distance and you can choose among few. Markets on 10m from apartments.
Review 68:The best Apartment in Agii Apostoli. It was a pleasure to meet the owners. Tavernas and shops/markets near by. A short walk to the beaches. Paradise! Sissa and Terje. Oslo/Norway
Review 69:The location is excellent. Short walk to the beach and bus stop from where you take a bus directly to Chania city centre/old harbour. Clean, bright rooms and nice rooftop terrace. The quality of service from the owner has been excellent! Eleni is a very friendly and helpful person. Would definitely recommend for location, cleanliness and value for money.
Review 70:WiFi in the apartments not very powerful There were several loud evenings events in the hotel on the opposite side
Review 71:Very good place, big apartments very comfortable to live. We were 6 people each has enough place. Good distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The appartment provides high quality room cleaning service. The proprietress is very attentive, had helped us during our visit.
Review 72:There was everything that we needed. The ladies working there are very helpful. Localisation was great, near the beach, not far from Chania. Really enjoyed the place.
Review 73:Pillows can be a bit more comfortable.
Review 74:Location is excellent, 70 meters from the Old Road on a small road leading to the beach, hardly any traffic noise. Bus stop at 300 meters, ATM at 100 meters, lots of restaurants around including one of the best of Western Crete. Clean spacious rooms. Owners very friendly; cleaning is done every day. Nice rooftop terrace. A home away from home!
Review 75:nothig
Review 76:Everything was excelent! We had a very spacious modern apartment (2 bedrooms), very clean and the owner is very friendly. Agii Apostoli is a nice place. I love the beach, it's also good for young children and there is lot of green.
Review 77:WiFi signal was very weak.
Review 78:Good location, near to the beach, shops and restaurants. Mrs Eleni (the owner) and staff are very friendly and helpful. Our apartment (2 bedrooms, kitchen / dining room, living room and toilet) was spacious and very clean (everyday cleaning).
Review 79:The location is great in terms of easy access to Chania and other coastal resorts by frequent bus service. The beeches at the end of the road are sandy and sheltered in small bays. The accommodation is spotless and the roof terrace is a great place to sit and relax. The host is very obliging with local information.
Review 80:My room was on the groundfloor, it has the advantage and disadvantage of opening on the garden, as it is territory of many cats with their typical smell...
Review 81:Elini is a great host, she took great care of me, she's very into making her guests'stay the best possible. The cleaning is made everyday and is impeccable. The studios are very well located, close to the beaches (5 minutes walking) and to the bus stop that leads to Xania.
Review 82:We were given 2 wifi passcodes, but wifi worked only in the balcony, most likely due to its positioning.
Review 83:I travelled with my parents and the lady-owner picked us up from the busstop so we wouldn't get lost. She also gave us tips on where/when to go. Moreover, she let us stay in one of the other apartments for few extra hours, on the checkout day. Excellent service. Close to shops, restaurants, the beach. The beach was amazing. Room is clean, cozy and has all the utensils you need to do easy cooking.
Review 84:Nothing about this hotel.
Review 85:Nice host and great apartment. Close to beaches, shops, supermarket and bus station. You need to take bus to Chania but it's not that far.
Review 86:Very nice small hotel with a very friendly and helpful owner. We were upgraded to a bigger studio for free which was very nice. The studio was spacious, clean and comfortable. A short walk from the beach.
Review 87:Extremely small and basic kitchen. Intermittent wi-fi, which is perhaps easily solved. Live music across the street until midnight (fortunately on Tuesdays only, otherwise the place is quiet).
Review 88:Bright and clean apartment with very long balcony all around, shaded with trees, short walk from (very nice) beach and surrounded by various shops, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy etc. Very nice and friendly owner, accommodated our extra guest at the last minute with no fuss. Air-conditioning in living room. On-street parking downstairs. Buses every 15mins to Chania. Fabulous swimming pool at "Dionysos" hotel across the street with beautiful gardens, only pay for a drink and you can use the pool as if you were a guest.
Review 89:There was no option to choose between a double bed or two apart beds.
Review 90:Our studio was spacious (with rather high ceiling) and clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. The airco worked well and was well-placed, away from the beds... Outside there was a nice garden with trees which kept the accomodation rather cool (we were there in August...). All in all, a very nice, reasonably-priced accomodation, away from noisy villages such as Platanias and Agia Marina and relatively close to Chania.
Review 91:Very good place, nice staff and very clean and good beds with soft pillows and warm water from showers trough the day. Like this hotel a lot. Cozy, small hotel with lovely and generous owners. Friendly to the dogs ;). Surely can recommend to all travelers!
Review 92:Our shower was lack of curtain and maybe a small bed lamp instead ofcandles...
Review 93:The appartment is really so near the beach...and what a beach!Affordable Tavernas nearby... Chania is about 10mins by car... There isa complete set of kitchen utensils! Mrs. Heleni is so great! She evengave us a typical greek cheese! Freshrooms doesn't need aircondition eventhough its free! Every day ourbed was made!
