A grade II listed building, Bodiwan bed and breakfast is located small market town of Bala. With free WiFi access, a hot tub and free on-site parking, the property is a 16-minute walk from Bala Adventure and Watersports and less than a mile from Penlan Clwe Golff Y Bala Golf Club.
Each room includes a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. There is also a private bathroom with either a shower or a bath. Extras include an outdoor seating area and bed linen.

Review 1：Maybe our car was a little large and the hotel was very busy so tight squeeze in and out....this is not a fault of the owners.

Review 2：Very homely, beautiful smell in the room, my partner was so impressed to see Welsh Cakes, made his weekend, so thank you :-) Would definitely recommend Bodiwan! Would love to visit again soon.

Review 3：Great area to stay for the variety of outdoor activities on offer in the area. Mark had many good suggestions on activities and Sarah was a lovely host and made great Welsh cakes.

Review 4：Sarah realised we only had one towel and never returned with another. The door of the suite was ill fitting and drafty. It was absolutely freezing and no heating on throughout stay. Unbearably cold. We asked for packed lunch/breakfast to be arranged as leaving early. 4pastries were left in hall. No milk, coffee, cereals etc. Disappointing service. The suite was not as clean as it should've been eg opened bottle of water, cafetiere dirty, no spoons etc. Really disappointing.

Review 5：Sarah was welcoming and upgraded us into the suite for no extra cost. The bed was extremely comfortable and bed linen was clean and of good quality.

Review 6：The room was really cold and dark. I had to stand by the window to put my make-up on. Breakfast was by 9am even at the weekend, which meant we had to be up and out early as rooms were cleaned in the morning.

Review 8：our room wasnt serviced very well.beds wernt made and towels not changed unless we asked,but there was no signage to advise us.it was difficult to use the shower over the bath as it was free standing with no curtain and water would end up on the floor.ther was no rail for a hand towel

Review 10：Only thing that let down slightly was sign for Bodiwan not clear and old boats and siling equiopment in garden on approach, did find out later that they do watersports so kind of explains it.

Review 14：Superb property in an absolutely beautiful part of the world. Mark and Sarah made us feel very welcome and the room was excellent, lovely huge bath to relax in after a day in the fantastic North Wales countryside (after having a tremendous breakfast of course). We will definitely be back.

Review 23：We really enjoyed our stay, the room was light and airy and beautifully furnished. Excellent selection for breakfast. The B & B is a stones throw from the High Street making it a pleasant evening walk should you visit the local restaurants.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The hot tub was awesome. We were drinking wine and looking up at the stars until the early hours.

Review 28：From the second we arrived to when we left, the staff and owner gave us excellent service and the room was immaculate, would strongly recommended a stay. It is also ideally place so you can easily walk into Bala, which is only 5 minutes away. We will definitely be making a return visit.

Review 29：The Bodiwan is one of the most comfortable and relaxing B&B's I've ever stayed at. The location is excellent for anyone wanting to explore the Snowdonia National park but also have access to a town with plenty of amenities. The staff are very friendly and full of local knowledge if you are unsure where to spend your days.
