Review 1：Bed was not comfortable, shower not great quality. Pillows not good quality. Car park hard to find and route to hotel badly lit. Breakfast very expensive.

Review 2：Rooms were pretty and reasonable quality. Food is available on site however the menu is highly specialised and not particularly suitable for a solo business traveller as the meals are very well cooked but very, very small and inadequate for the circumstances also very expensive £44 for a meal is great if its a special occasion but not for a work night and there was no alternative.

Review 4：The room and bathroom were very comfortable. The restaurant is outstanding and in a lovely setting. We had a superb meal with excellent service. Attention to detail is apparent everywhere and the staff could not have been more helpful.

Review 5：Very friendly helpful owners, great room etc, good ambience, delicious breakfast. Were guests elsewhere for dinner, but if breakfast is anything to go by, dinner would I'm sure, have been very good.

Review 7：The room was pleasant and the bed very comfortable but the en-suite though looking good was not exactly user friendly. Little room around the basin to put cosmetics toiletries etc.

Review 8：A good locationi in the centre of the town. Very friendly and pleasant greeting and service from the owners. Fellow guests ate there in the evening and were extremely impressed by the restaurant. Pleasant breakfast.

Review 10：owners were lovely, offered to carry bags up to room, offered to take us to the train station on the saturday and pick us up again when we went to york for the day, rooms beautuful, beds fantastic..one of the best places we have stayed in, in a long time, good parking,, very close to shops, bars,restuarants all within walking distance...owners were two of the most lovliest people we ever came across..will definately return in the new year..thankyou for everything...

Review 11：Our room was large,clean and at ground level off a private courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and strong. We enjoyed the most fabulous meal in the restaurant attached to the B&B.
