Review 6:None

Review 9:Basic B&B
Review 10:Towels a bit small and hard. Single bed comfortable but very squeaky. Breakfast is around a communal table, I'd have preferred separate tables but this is just a personal preference

Review 12:Have used Mary's B & B before and were very happy and our visit this time was no different. Clean and tidy with the comfort of home. Good selection for breakfast and friendly owner. Quiet location yet only 10 mins walk into town.

Review 19:There was a fair amount of noise from upstairs and the room next door but thankfully this ceased around 11pm
Review 20:The rooms were spacious, well-decorated and clean. Mary, the owner, was extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was also very tasty.
Review 21:Nothing!
Review 22:I was expecting the usual room with en-suite, and what I got was an entire apartment! The kitchen/living area was spacious and very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. The bathroom was new and luxurious. A tip-top accommodation really close to the centre of Cupar, yet very quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast and super landlady!
Review 23:Poor quality build with noise from floor above. Unattractive view from window. Pricy for location and standard.
Review 24:Polite and pleasant host, good home cooked breakfast and space.
Review 25:Location, easy access to train and buses. Excellent service by owner. Good hot breakfast cooked at the moment you seat at the table. The spacious suite is excellent if you travel with children or a group of friends.
Review 26:Great value for money, good location behind Tesco, close to town centre. Very modern spacious bedroom, very quiet, breakfast in morning was superb. Mary was very nice and an excellent owner. Will definitely return next year.
Review 27:No reminder payment due, squeaky floor joists, remember to lock your door! Charmless house in a developer subdivision.
Review 28:Location but not charming (close to train station)
Review 29:Nothing, I would stay there again tomorrow
Review 30:Mary was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The room was perfect and very clean and we were made to feel very welcome great value for money
Review 31:Convenient location on quiet residential street very close to town centre. My son and I were well looked after throughout our stay and I would highly recommend this accommodation when visiting Fife.
Review 32:Clearly a family home first, B&B second - bed linen drying on banisters when I arrived... Tesco store within hearing distance (though not visible) and delivery pallets and doors were clanking at 2.00am... Instant coffee in room was from an opened jar (not sachets), teabags and sugar was in plastic drinks cups, coffee mate in an opened jar (no fresh milk) and no biscuits.... Instant coffee served at breakfast (for £50 for a single room I'd hoped for fresh coffee; most B&B's do that these days)... Margarine served at breakfast with no choice of butter should I prefer it...
Review 33:Clean. Hostess personable and pleasant. Gave me a top-floor room as I requested a quiet room. My request for an early (6.45am)breakfast of fruit, yoghurt and toast was met (cereals were also offered)...
Review 34:A friendly welcome. Clean, tidy and cosy. Great breakfast in a comfortable environment.

Review 79:Everything was excellant
Review 80:No lock on door.
Review 81:Nice breakfast.
Review 82:Quiet neighborhood. Pleasant people. Gave good directions.
Review 83:wonderful welcome, very helpful throughout our stay...even booked us a taxi for our return from a wedding. It felt like we were staying with our best friends.
Review 84:No wi-fi, but there was no wi-fi service stated in the booking.com information on this location.
Review 85:Mary gave us a good local pub for dinner and directions to it. Location in Cupar was a short drive to St. Andrews.
Review 86:We stayed in the lower suite which had two separate bedrooms and a modest common area with a kitchenette, couch, and TV. The cabinets in the kitchen contain some half used portions of condiments that should be thrown out, and there was no dish detergent to clean up used dishes and glasses. The bathroom was generally clean, but the wooden shelves need a more sanitizing cover for one's toilettries. The walls and floors are not thick, so footsteps above us were very pronounced in the morning and early evening. The uncomfortable couch in the living area needs to be replaced. All in all, however, the suite was perfectly acceptable for golfers like us who were gone most of the day, but could be much better.
Review 87:Owner, Mary Bell was wonderful and very accommodating on all our needs. Her breakfasts were terrific. The location of her house is in a quiet residential area and is an easy 15-20 minute drive to St. Andrews and other coastal golf venues (Lundin, Ellie, and Crail) that we traveled to. The price differential between Meadowside and the many hotels in St. Andrews is substantial. There is a great big supermarket just a two minute walk away to get whatever you need for your stay (beer, ice cream, etc.).
Review 88:It was quite noisy from 7am...very creaky floorboards above room.
Review 89:The staff were lovely and provided a lovely breakfast and help with taxis and any other information.
Review 90:The tiniest niggle - the walls are a bit thin and I could hear TVs in other rooms, but this is by no means a deal breaker - this is where I will always stay now when I visit my father.
Review 91:The rooms are large - no sense of being squashed into the smallest space you can reasonably fit a bed in. The landlady (and her dog) is lovely and goes the extra mile to ensure your comfort. It's homely yet large enough to not feel like everyone knows when you're coming and going. There are no strings attached to the Wi-fi. Nice shower room.
Review 92:It was very welcoming and comfortable. Mrs Bell was very helpful and friendly, we were made to feel as if anything we needed could be sorted. Would recommend Meadowside to anyone needing somewhere in Cupar to stay.
Review 93:There was nothing that we did not like!
Review 94:Meadowside is in an excellent location - central but quiet. The suite was very comfortable and had everything that we needed to cater for ourselves. The breakfast was excellent and the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner was so much appreciated. Very good value for money.
Review 95:My only suggestion would be to add a shelf or small vanity to the bathroom for toiletries.
Review 96:The beds were the most comfortable of our two week stay in Scotland! The breakfast was also superb in that the bacon was very lean and my egg was cooked to perfection.
Review 97:Nothing really - had a short but lovely stay- thank you
Review 98:Made to feel very welcome and immediately part of the 'family' Good local advice given which was very useful - enjoyed our stay.
Review 99:Breakfast was traditional, eggs, lots of sausage, bacon, white toast. But also an assortment of good cereals and yogurt (my choice).
Review 100:Stayed in a modest, sweet home run by Mary, who attended to our everyquestion. We were visiting St. Andrews, and this little village is about10 miles away, very low key, yet very friendly. A nice departure fromstaying in the cities.
Review 101:relatively expensive for what we got. Breakfast was rated as disappointing with poor quality ingredients especially sausage and black pudding and cheap cooking oil
Review 102:friendly owners. Clean spacious facilities.
Review 103:Everything was good - so nothing to complain about at all!!
Review 104:lovely bedroom - great welcome - very helpful and the breakfast was great - we had a lovely room with its own sitting room and kitchen area - it was perfect
Review 105:The towels were very thin and tired. The living room area is quite dark as the house is on a hill and not much natural daylight.
Review 106:We had the small flat, great for a little self catering /washing facilties. Very helpful staff offering to help dry clothes. Catered for special requests for breakfast.
Review 107:Friendly and pleasant person running the b&b, good to talk with her. I also enjoyed walking around Cupar and doing some sightseeing in that part of Fife the next day.
Review 108:No locks on the bedroom doors. Could have used a table in the room for computer work. Also, bathrooms are large and could use a table for personal items.
Review 109:The beds were very comfortable. The room was large.
Review 110:We had a suite between two of us. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellant and Mary, the landlady was very pleasant. Would have no hesitation staying there again.
