Review 1：The heaters were not powerful enough to warm up the big room AND wifi did not work in the room AND poor mobile reception inside the hotel

Review 3：Would not stay in Bala again. A bit of a boring village compared to some others nearby. We were stopping through and needed a cheap place for the night to drive through the mountains in the morning. I wish it wasn't a Saturday night it was impossible to sleep from the noise outside we wish we could have joined all the rowdy people but we just wanted to sleep (which we didnt end up doing anyway). Breakfast was great but dinner was overpriced and not great quality. I think they need Alex Polizzi in there to give them a good wake up call!

Review 9：Unannounced to the visiting residents of a party booked in the dining area, but the staff did everything to resolve the situation and i am satisfied with the way the owner/management made up for it. Would definitely stay there again!

Review 10：Great location in the heart of the village, close to all required needs including parking. Very friendly staff, nice size facilities with two bars with games and tv's for all the sporting needs, and a fair size dining area, also great hot power shower, and a good size breakfast.

Review 11：We paid a £100 pounds for a family room and although I realize prices in the area are high this hotel was not worth that. The facilities where not in the greatest of shape, in fact most seem in bad shape. She shower did not work, the door did not close properly, (the handle was falling off) the windows are single-glass and let cold and noise of the street in. It left us with our little one not being able to sleep fr hours because of the noise of people outside, your could understand every word spoken. We did ask for the heating to be turned on but we are not sure if that actually happened as radiator was not warming up. The bed was very soft and the TV tiny and far away. No wi-fi in the rooms (or mobile internet as reception in no excising inside), only downstairs in the reception/breakfast area.

Review 12：When we arrived the staff was helpful and moved their car so we could park. The location is convenient, although we did not get a chance to see the lake the village has some shops. Breakfast was not bad at all.

Review 18：One thing to bear in mind, if you are 'doing the town' (!) the hotel doors are shut and locked quite early. Therefore, make sure they either give you a key to the outer door or you take the hotel phone number so you can ask to be let back inside.

Review 32：The staff was co-operative, friendly and Very patient. I was with young kids and had religiously food restrictions (halal food) so they provide us the separate fridge and microwave facility which was awesome and much appreciable. Thanks.

Review 33：The reception is difficult to find and mostly unmanned. There was no WIFI and when I called down to the reception there was no answer. The bath was not clean (it had hair in there from a previous tenant). They only gave us towels and shower gels for 2 people in each room even though we booked for 1 adult and 2 children in each room. Again when I tried calling reception there was no answer. No lift - a bit tricky with kids and suitcases when you're on the second floor up.

Review 118：Stayed here for one night & were greeted by friendly staff. We arrived a bit early which wasnt a problem, we had a drink in the bar with a game of pool whilst the cleaners finished our room & we were still allowed to check in an hour early. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is in Bala high street, just a short walk from the stunning lake itself. Our room was a large family room & although we didnt have kids with us, it was a good size, tastefully decorated & very clean throughout. The shower was good & hot but the taps had "hot & cold" written in welsh on them. As funny as this was (& we did have a good giggle), all we had to do was turn them on to find out. Its a shame we didnt stay for breakfast as the previous reviews suggest they are legendary but we simply had to hit the road (maybe next time!)

Review 119：Our bed was terrible, didn't sleep on it. Floor was more comfy. Dont wait till November the 5th to burn it! Riots, swearing and girls screaming outside till 4 a.m then the drunks piled into the hotel. Think we had 3 hrs sleep. Horrendous. Over priced. We complained but no offer of a reduction.

Review 123：The hotel was rated as 3 star which we feel should be reduced. It was rather seedy and much in need of redecoration. It was a very noisy, crowded pub patronised by drinkers........we ate out as the dining room was adjacent to a noisy bar, and not a very nice environment .
