Reviews for Mykonos Princess Hotel

Review 1:No dislikes .

Review 2:Fantastic reception from airport pickup to departure . A warm reception on arrival . A welcome drink and a review of what to see and where to go . A complimentary bottle of wine sent to our room . Fantastic hotel most impressed , especially Alexander .

Review 3:The first room we had booked looked nothing like the pictures, it was not modern at all so we were very happy to be upgraded to a better room with sea view!

Review 4:The staff is so friendly and helpful, our luggage was delayed so they followed up with the airport and upgraded our room to make us feel better on our honeymoon. Breakfast is really good and rich. The hotel is nearby the beach and offers free shuttle at night to take us to the town.

Review 5:The service was the best I ever seen, and the staff was extremely kindly. My room was clean twice a day. definitely we going to book this hotel in the future

Review 6:There were flu es all over the breakfast buffet - it put me off to start with but then just accepted it. We had a sea view room but the bar blocked our view pretty much the entirely.

Review 7:The pool was lovely and we were right by the pool, all service was impeccable - pool boys, cocktail guy, the receptionists. The view was incredible and it was nice to have our own little terrace. The fine dining experience on the terrace was absolutely divine and I'm so glad we did that. It was lovely to have a delicious free glass of lemonade on arrival and it was nice coming home to turned down sheets and a chocolate every evening. It was quite far from most places (I.e. Not walkable) but they had a free shuttle into town in the evenings and organised the quad bike rental people to pick us up so that was great.

Review 8:Some ants in the room. They should have had later complimentary shuttle back to the hotel since the nite life doesn't begin till later.

Review 9:Roominess of the suite and the staff was so accommodating !! Bar tender and front desk and bell desk .

Review 10:Leaving....

Review 11:Staff were fantastic - as helpful as you could ever want. Organised taxis and transfers whatever the hour. Food/drink was excellent throughout, and there were numerous lovely little touches that made our stay so good. Five min walk to beach, pool was a great alternative. Highly recommend, we would come back tomorrow!

Review 12:Do not rent a bike on the rental place near the hotel, it is expansive. much cheaper arround the city

Review 13:Location! amazing view The stuff The pool The bar Great and comfortable hotel

Review 14:Confuse of their transportation... We can't find their vehicle and wait over a half and a hour at old port bus stop... And they are trying to help us immediately. Although we have little misunderstandings on that, but they are still a good one.

Review 15:Manager and reception are excellent and nice, highly recommended.

Review 16:The wifi was practically nonexistent in the rooms and we had to rely on data roaming, which is very costly. My friend who needed to do some work had to go down to reception daily to access wifi and work. The pool was much smaller than I expected and gets "cozy" when the guests are all out laying on the sunbeds. We only stayed by the pool the day we arrived as we had traveled all night and were too exhausted to go to a beach. But after that, we left for the major beaches. The breakfast was alright. They have a decent a la carte menu which is part of the breakfast. They needed more fruit selections, better plates, fresh fruit juices (all were bottled). The room was decent sized but the bathroom and washing area needs more shelf space.

Review 17:The hotel is located close to the port and in a great location to get to the town easily and within 10 minutes by car and parking at the port. The staff were the best part of our stay. The manager who came out personally to greet us and the team of lovely women at the front desk, headed by Tania, who all did an amazing job of booking us into all the beaches and restaurants we wanted. Panos who had the night shift was equally fantastic with his friendliness and helpfulness. We were told by town locals that this hotel was recently renovated and it shows. I am sure it will be improving even more.

Review 18:No view on the sunset (not dramatic..) Wifi quality could be improved..

Review 19:Very nice design, swimming pool.. The room was very clean, well designed, with a small terrace and sea view. Fantastic cocktails! A free shuttle to the city center was also available every evening. Overall the staff is very welcoming.

Review 20:Minor: wifi weak in room as in all 4 hotels we stayed at in Greece.

Review 21:More quiet part of Mykonos. The hotel had been fully renovated and it's beautiful! We had a sea view deluxe suite for our family of 4; it was spacious and extremely comfortable. Alexander the Manager and staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Review 22:Town is a 10 minute drive and there should be a complementary hourly shuttle service morning till evening along with airport transfers.

Review 23:Costas and his f&b team went out of there wa to look after us and all the guests. Chef Dimitri was helpful and imaginative with creating different fresh and tasty options for lunch and dinner. John running the bar always had a suggestion and anticipated guests needs.

Review 24:Breakfast was a bit average, with limited space. Couldn't get a table. Hotel taxi let us down once while we were at the beach.

Review 25:Rooms were fantastic.

Review 26:We had 2 older kids and the bedding situation in the second room was sub-standard, especially given the luxury hotel rate we paid. Advertising the unit as sleeping 4 but providing a small portable cot to accomodate the 4th person was unsatisfactory.

Review 27:With only one exception everything was fabulous, the staff were exceptionally polite, attentive and caring. The room was beautiful, the pool and deck area was beautiful, the breakfasts were terrific. The view of the port and Mykonos was very nice.

Review 28:The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service to Mykonos town so it is impossible to get into the town for dinner as taxis are irregular and you have to rely on the local bus. There is a mini bus at the hotel but they are always too busy shipping guests to and from the airport and is never available when you need it. The only draw back about this hotel otherwise everything else was perfect.

Review 29:The personnel was very welcoming. the location is just outside Mykonis city. it was a short taxi ride to the city. the suite was great, the view sensational. we would go back anytime!!

Review 30:Price is not so good but the place is worth it.

Review 31:Loved the staff and the room is a dream! the manager has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard and the breakfast is really like a resort five stars. Best choise in Greece.

Review 32:Everything was wonderful! The staff took amazing care of us from thesecond we walked in till the moment we left. We were five girls and feltcompletely at home and comfortable - everyone was amazing - especiallyIrakles our driver, and Tanya, Poppy, Irene and Alexander at the desk. The breakfast was wonderful. Even if you didn't leave the hotelyou'd have a great time in Mykonos.

Review 33:It is slitghtly more distant away from the city than I had expected. But the hotel does provide transport (for a small fee) and will pick up the customer at allocated spots and time. The breakfast preparation and coordinations can be improve. The 15min earlier breakfast (had to catch the plane) was extremely awkward. Please be better prepared.

Review 34:The ambience. The executivity of the place. The extremely good treatment and services provided by the staffs, especially Ms Popi, she really helped me out alot regarding the planning of my trip in Mykonos. The staffs here are extremely approachable!

Review 35:Guests should be informed on your website that if they wish to hire motor vehicle or ATV that they should bring a valid drivers license

Review 36:Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Review 37:It was over a 30 minute walk to Mykonos over some very steep hills. I would recommend hiring a car and park at the new port car park (no cost) to explore Mykonos town.

Review 38:This is a very relaxing place to stay. The view is to die for overlooking the old port. Service is great and breakfast is fantastic. The omelettes are a must.

Review 39:Room service is terrible poor. No drink water or other beverage. Thefacility in the bathroom is extremely basic. You even have nowhere toput the shampoo and shower Gel when you take a shower. It is far awayfrom 5-star standard which the property owner claimed it is. Also theroom is very small. The total experience is totally not worthy the moneyyou spend here.

Review 40:Receptionist is pretty good.

Review 41:Music inappropriate and to loud, played for benefit of staff and not guests. Good hotel but no where near its 5 star rating.

Review 42:Pool area with view over port and Mykonos.

Review 43:We didn't spend enough time there.

Review 44:Such incredible hospitality, such beautiful facilities, and just an overall wonderful stay. Wish we could stay longer.

Review 45:we had booked a value deal from booking.com, which came with free transfers and a room with a terrace. both of these were not offerred to us initially and only when we raised an issue with the staff and manager, did they give this to us. we had to change which was worth it, since they did give us a beautiful room

Review 46:wonderful views, good sized room, staff helped in arranging a car

Review 47:I stayed in Princess of Mykonos for 4 nights in August, 2014 and I loved it. It is a small boutique hotel clean, very white with attention to detail. The view is wonderful. Every room has a view, that of the blue sea and white buildings. The breakfast in the morning is one of the best I have had, plus the wonderful view. I also liked the food in the hotel restaurant. The location, Agios Stefanos is perfect far from the hustle and bustle of the main city but close enough to reach it in a few minutes. The bus stop was not far from the hotel, less than five minutes of leisure walk. The beach very near the hotel is nice, clean, the water is blue and clear so you can see the bottom of the sea. The restaurants by the beach serve great food. The hotel manager, the bell boy and bartender, all are doing an excellent job. Also please try the massage service of the hotel in the massage room! Having a massage while seeing this view in front of you is a ticket to paradise! Overall, I recommend Princes of Mykonos, its a beautiful place for beautiful memories.

Review 48:I don't like coz don't have driver inclusive for the hotel will be perfect

Review 49:I really like treatment of the people work there it very nice I will be back next year again I really like it

Review 50:The artificial air of the place. the bathrooms were a surprise and need an update and somewhat let it down. All a bit bizarre!

Review 51:The room was very comfortable and we got a reasonable deal. The facilities were good. The staff were courteous.

Review 52:even doubt the hotel was nice, it was not worth the elevated price. The bathrooms was really poor.

Review 53:the hotel was really nice in general, the staff where amazing specially a guy call Gregory from the bar, The room was comfortable.

Review 96:everything else.

Review 97:Bed/ decoration / room

Review 98:The stuff was not king and they must be more friendly with the customers

Review 99:The room was very clean the environment was friendly and very similar to mine

Review 100:- dirty showers and in general not very clean - one cn get better accomodation for this price - equipment in the gym half broken and again not very clean - breakfast is horrible, little selection - bread rolls are hard as stone and the other option is toast bread.....bad, bad, bad

Review 101:- the view is the only good thing you get in this place

Review 102:The fact that we had to spend two nights in a room that did not have aview before we were moved into the one we had reserved.

Review 103:The staff were very friendly and helpful, also food was good if you atein the restaurant or by the pool.

Review 104:I've just returned from a week long stay at Princess of Mykonos(April 2013). The hotel is located in Agios Stefanos, approx 3kilometers from Mykonos Town. This area is perfect if you are looking toget away from the crowds and noises of the old harbour. The beach islocated approx one minute walk away from the hotel (it's one of thehighest ranking beaches on the island) and has a nice restaurant andbeach bar, where you can even get wi-fi. The local supermarket wasclosed when I visited however there's another one, located 15minswalk down the road (just past the new harbour). The hotel itself islocated on a small hill (not too steep so should be ok for most people)overlooking the new port and the beach. We were upgraded to the superiorroom upon arrival, which turned out to have fantastic views. The roomsare basically self contained units, all with separate entries and patiosor balconies. Ours was decorated in the traditional Greek style, withpebbled floor, big sofa , full lenght mirror, flat screen tv, desk, air-con, fridge and big wardrobe plus safe. The room opened up to a patiowith table and two wooden chairs. Toiletries have been included(shampoo, shower gel and conditioner), box of tissues was also a nicetouch. The hotel has great outdoor space arrangements, with sunloungers, tables and chairs and even little boats turned into sofas withcushions. There's a bar that serves drinks and food (generousportions and prices lower than in the beach restaurant). Our bookingincluded breakfast which was of really good quality and consisted of avariety of foods such as cereals, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea &coffee, etc. Further upfrom the hotel is a nice pebbled beach which was completely empty everytime we visited (great if you looking for some privacy).

Review 105:Location, host

Review 106:Bathroom could be better, minibar empty.

Review 107:Friendly staff, excellent restaurant and breakfast, close to Agio Stefanos Beach.

Review 108:Nothing, except I did find a clump of someone else's hair in myclean towels.

Review 109:Friendly staff, good service, free transfer to and from airport.

Review 110:Staff Excellent customer satisfaction Location Cleanness Breakfast Sea view

Review 111:View Facilities Staff
