Reviews for Forbes of Kingennie
Review 1:Extractor fans could be doing with a dust. Feel £100 deposit for any breakables/damage etc a little excessive.
Review 2:Very well equipped lodge has everything you need and more. Home from home. Good facilities on site with restaurant /bar. Very cosy, good value for money for time of year.
Review 3:She we arrived the lodge was rather cold, a little background heating might have been nice, especially since we were arriving on Boxing Day. However, heating soon fired up and the lodge was cosy for the remainder of our stay. It would also be good to have wifi available in the lodges, not just the reception area.
Review 4:The location is perfect and the lodge is extremely well laid out and well equipped for all ages. It is warm and cosy and the two balconies gave you some outdoor space direct from both the living room and master bedroom.
Review 5:no dryer so laundry was impossible. birds nesting so couldn't put drying rack outside without birds pooping on it. toilets had no flushing power. wireless connection poor in lodge.
Review 6:food was excellent. staff friendly and helpful.
Review 7:The lodge was very nice but needed a clean on the outside (windows and a brush awY of the cobwebs ) it looked like it needed a spring clean, that's all. But don't take this comment too bad as it was still very nice.
Review 8:It's the people whom make a place and the staff are excellent, thanks
Review 9:Nothing.
Review 10:Fabulous accommodation in Glen Lyon Lodge. Handy for Dundee and a nice Drive to St Andrews. Restaurant has great views, lovely food and service was great. Very accommodating for our baby.
Review 11:No wifi in the lodges, which in current day technology we thought was poor. No maid service to change towels on daily basis, in fact when we enquired we were told we could have more towels but there would be a cost attached to this request, which again in this day an age we thought it was poor.
Review 12:Location for the purpose of our trip, the comfort factor, the kind and friendly staff made our stay trouble free.
Review 13:The cleanliness of the cabin was unacceptable for a 4 star resort. No space in the cupboards in the kitchen for food/drinks. Had to wash dishes before using them as they weren't in a clean cupboard.
Review 14:Glen prosen was spacious and jacuzzi bath was great!
Review 15:Décor and furniture in the lodges are tired and worn and would benefit from upgrade. Equally the exterior of the lodges would look much smarter with a little maintenance.
Review 16:Location is fantastic with great views over the Lake and the Golf Course. The staff at the reception and restaurant were extremely helpful throughout our stay.
Review 17:No complaints but could do with a little more lights in the woodland area.
Review 18:The staff were very friendly and our lodge was very high standards. We will be going back again.
Review 19:Fabolous location, stunning views over the lakes. Staff were excellent in the bar and restaurant. The lodge itself was excellent, rooms were lovely, clean comfortable. Couldnt ask for more
Review 20:Lodge heating was not easy to control, could do with more heating in bedroom.
Review 21:The area, lovely walks with the dog. Not far to travel to city center. If you like fishing then there is a stocked pond 2 minutes walk. main building looked to have a lovely bar/restaurant although we did not use it on this trip
Review 22:Beautiful location, stayed in a woodland lodge which was lovely and relaxing. The only bad thing I can say was there was no wifi in the lodge itself.
Review 23:Loved, the location and the facilities, just a shame we didn't have more time to take full use of them.
Review 24:Everything was just so relaxing the scenery was lovely couldn't ask for much more

Review 35:The peace and quietness and natural beauty of the place..
Review 36:Location, grounds, breakfast, friendly staff, coffee, fly fishing lesson, maze. Very relaxing short break.
Review 37:Great welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Food was lovely, especially the tomato and red pepper gnocci. Very accommodating for children, kids menu was perfect and food was presented quickly. Our lodge was very nice and quite modern inside, all facilities you would require for a weeks stay. 9 hole golf course was a good challenge too. Would definitely recommend to friends. Not anything to do for children however, great for couples and a good base to see the local area.
Review 38:the bench seat at the kitchen table was way to high to properly sit at the table.
Review 39:privacy, adequate space, had everything you needed, the welcome package of milk and freshly baked cookies
