Review 1：The hotel owners,Veronica & Paul, went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was excellent & the breakfast was superb!
Review 2：The owner was very accommodating and happy to recommend the best restaurants to us, the country house was a sight to behold and only an 8 minute walk to the high street, bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was made with good quality, locally sourced produce.

Review 4：We stayed here for 3 nights from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were well and truly made welcome and looked after. Veronica puts her heart and soul into ensuring you are looked after and have all you need. Paul is locked away in the kitchen producing fab breakfasts to die for, and made us a lovely picnic lunch when we were going out for the day in the Snowdonia forest. Rooms were immaculate and all that you required was there. Our first two days staying they had plenty of guests to cater for, they were not phased by this one bit and all were looked after 110%. The views were amazing looking over Bala town and Bala lake. No need to close the curtains, watched the sky, stars and we were lucky enough to see the blood moon. We will definitely return.

Review 7：Frondderw really deserves its "Exceptional" reputation. From the moment I arrived to a warm and friendly welcome to my departure after an excellent breakfast everything was perfect. I had a very quiet nights sleep in a warm and comfortable room, and having arrived tired and achey after a long cycle ride I left restored and prepared for a another challenging day. The area is exceptional for cycling and Frondderw is an exceptional place to stay. Highly recommended (and I consider myself hard to please)

Review 12：We stayed here whilst competing in the Bala triathlon and I'm glad we made the right choice. Our bikes were stored safely in the garage, we had a special early triathlon breakfast prepared for us on race day. It's in lovely location and had excellent views from our room. We felt very welcome by the owners and felt that they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Review 13：Brilliant breakfasts and lovely hosts. We were very happy and could have stayed for longer. The breakfast was a wonderful choice of prepared fresh fruits with creamy yogurt, cereals and local bread. The cooked breakfasts were done to perfection.

The house has stunning views and is filled with a rustic charm. If you want to escape to a quiet, cosy get away in North Wales then this has got to be one of the top places for the money.

Paul made suggestions for the area, gave us directions and even offered us a torch as we wanted to walk to an Indian restaurant in the local town and it would be dark on our return. Review 39：No shower in bathrooms took nearly an hour to run a bath hot water kept running out so had to wait for it to reheat not good when 2 need to bathe before going out also no mirror near a plug socket and poor lighting for ladies to put makeup on and do hair

Review 44：Lake view room was not much of a lake view, we stayed in the Bala room it was quite a distance away and couldn't see much of it. The room was a bit out of date new furnishing would be nice, towels were not big enough, needs a bigger mirror, and TV was small. The quilt on the bed was very heavy. Needed more pillows

From our initial welcome to sadly leaving we were made to feel very special, even my request for a very early breakfast on the Saturday morning (a necessity due to an early start cycle event) was met with an enthusiastic affirmative. Breathtaking views over the lake and surrounding scenery made for a lovely serene short break. We will definitely return for another dose of Veronica's charm!

Review 57：Fabulous breakfast spread - I really enjoyed the strawberries/blueberries/raspberries to go with the natural yoghurt! A nice change from cereal. Husband had the full breakfast which was a well cooked & ample portion. And homemade cake with the tea tray in the room was a really nice touch. I wish we'd had more time to enjoy our visit. Review 59：Location location location, perfect, but that's not the end of it, Paul and Veronica the owners, are very warm friendly people, nothing is too much trouble, the room was luxurious, the veiw across the valley of Bala and the lake was breathtaking.
