Dating back to 1899, the family-run Laurels is almost situated in the town centre of Oswestry. Set along a quiet, tree-lined street, it offers en-suite rooms and free Wi-Fi throughout.
The rooms include a flat-screen TV with a DVD player, an iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Ironing supplies are available upon request.

Review 1：Good location only a short walk to the nearest shops and cafes , restaurants . Very clean and welcoming , comfortable room , an extensive breakfast menu .

Review 5：Friendly owners, nothing was too much trouble; they even made me a bacon and mushroom toastie for breakfast. Very convenient for the centre of Oswestry. They also had gluten free bread and sausages for my GF diet partner.
Review 6：No top sheet on the beds. Just fitted bottom sheet and doona. I don't understand! It was too warm with the doona on . Just needed a top sheet.

Review 8：Difficult to pick out one thing. From the friendly greeting, the beautiful garden, lovely room & facilities and the super food - everything spot on. There was even personally supervised parking & help with the luggage - welcome at our age !

Review 10：Quite honestly, I was stunned by this place! Everywhere was in pristine condition - so much so that I asked the owner if he was a builder! The room was well appointed, spacious shower room and a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was quite as good as I've had in many top-rated hotels. I highly recommend The Laurels if you need to stay in Oswestry!

Review 16：The owners had put a lot of though in every detail of this hotel. Rooms a fully equipped with pretty much everything you need. You'll even have a city restaurants guide at your disposal if you want to eat out or take away. Breakfast was excellent, served in a nice dining room. Before you leave don't forget to try the massage chair.

Review 20：The Laurels is lovely. The owners go out of their way to provide a warm welcome nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are exceptional and very modern. Breakfast is wonderful lots of variety and good local produce. We really enjoyed our visit.
Review 21：The owner,s of the Laurels are very friendly hospitable people . I was travelling alone as I was on a course in the area . In the morning when I came down to breakfast , I was introduced to some lovely people from Australia and we all ate breakfast chatting and laughing , whilst the hospitable owner brought breakfast , made jokes and was generally happy and helpful . The rooms were very clean and comfortable , and I was given a key to come and go as I needed. TV and drinks and biscuits in the room, and a lovely en suite . The breakfast itself was superb , everything you could want , and cooked well . I had a vegetarian option which was wonderful . Really really good value , comfortable , and a great couple that host . Highly recommendable. Sadly when I retuned home there had been a death in the family , so this was quite a shock , and has hindered me from writing a review sooner .
