Review 1：Fire alarm went off at 12pm due to excess dry ice smoke at the office party in the nearby annexe, this was dealt with very quickly by the hotel owner.

Review 4：Staff were instantly friendly and helpful, checking in was very quick and easy. Room was clean and tidy and quiet - excellent value in my opinion. Pub / bar was well stocked and the locals were friendly. What was a real surprise was the superb quality of the food, I thought the menu looked very inviting but possibly slightly ambitious for a fairly small establishment. Both our starters and main courses were superb, not unduly fussy but tidily presented and cooked to an excellent standard. I would happily recommend both the hotel and the restaurant to anyone travelling in that area. The full English breakfast was also great. I hope to stay there again in the future and will certainly try and make room to call in for a beer and a meal if I am passing through. The couple who own it obviously have great passion for their business and a real flair for hospitality and service, but some how they still make it seem effortless! I wish them the success their hardwork deserves.

Review 14：Fabulous stay at this hotel. Staff were so polite and friendly and extremely accommodating. Me and my partner had been to Alton towers all day and arrived to the hotel at 19:50. We asked if food was still be served and the staff said till 20:30 but they would lee the kitchen open a little longer for us as we needed to check and in and change after a wet day in the theme park. The food was delicious. The pate was to absolute die for!! The room was lovely and warm and bed was very comfortable. Next morning breakfast was also delicious hot and more than another choices on menu. Wouldn't hesitate to book again at this lovely hotel.
