Review 1：Very old fashioned. Lovely old building but needs an update. Only one usable electric socket in our room. Wi fi only available in one downstairs room

Review 7：The ski bus to Obertauern takes ca thirty minutes during busy hours. It's a tranquil place with mostly couples & families so if you want a lot of aprés ski & nightlife it's probably better to stay in Obertauern.
Review 8：Beautiful family run hotel, plenty of heart and feeling. Incredible historic building, very well kept down to the last detail. Comfortable rooms. Excellent location in Mauterndorf, a ridiculously beautiful village. Foodies shouldn't miss the Michelin star restaurant around the corner of the hotel (Mesnerhaus). I also really recommend a night stroll and a dinner at the castle (burg Mauterndorf). Just excellent!
Review 9：Great location, in the middle of Mauterndorf, close to the ski-bus stop. Frequent ski-buses to Obertauern and Grosseck so we did not need our car during our stay there. Spacious, nicely furnished room. Nice, helpful English and German speaking staff. One of them spoke also Hungarian. :-) Good, traditional, home-made food. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend his holiday around Obertauern.
