Nestled in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside, Westfield House Farm offers bed and breakfast accommodation just a couple of miles from Northumberland National Park. Free on site parking is available.
Westfield House is located within a stone farmhouse at the end of its own private driveway, granting tranquillity to guests. Each room has central heating, views of the magnificent Simonside Hills, and a private bathroom.
A continental-style breakfast is served daily and consists of croissants, bread, fruit juices, yoghurt, fruit, cereal and freshly brewed tea and coffee. Further eateries and pubs are to be found a 10-minute drive away in the market town of Rothbury.
Hadrian’s Wall is a pleasant 30 miles drive from Westfield House, whilst Alnwick on the Northumberland coast is 25 minutes away by car. Several walking and biking routes are located closeby, including Harwood Forest and Thrunton Woods.

Review 1：The property is a first class farmhouse conversion. It is tastefully decorated and set in a most beautiful location. The facilities are excellent. Emma is a most congenial and attentive host. Could one really wish for more?

Review 5：Very attractive old farmhouse in an idyllic countryside location. Bedroom was beautifully appointed and ENORMOUS, with lovely views from all windows. Hosts, Tim and Emma, could not have been more helpful and welcoming, especially when a problem with our car meant we had to cut short our stay.
Review 6：Phone signal poor to non existent in this area - which is not their fault but also phone connectivity over wifi connection was very patchy in my upstairs room. Wifi on laptop was fully functional, however.

Review 9：Came to stay with Emma and Tim for a long weekend and had a thoroughly relaxing time. The pair were happy to chat and give advice but also gave us our space which we really appreciated. Great location, beautiful and immaculately clean room, lovely breakfast, cannot wait to come back!

Review 12：what a little gem :) set in a tranquil location off the main road, on arrival Emma and Tim the owners offered us a cup of tea and cake after settling into our room which overlooked fields and countryside, the room was tastefully decorated and comfortable and equipped with 'quality' tea and coffee making. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower, again quality products for bath or shower use. Good choice breakfast. Attention to detail has been taken at this lovely B&B. thank you both for a super stay.
Review 13：Emma and Tim made us feel instantly at home,The farmhouse was beautiful decorated with style and immaginationion.Our room was delightful with beautiful views.We thought we might miss not having full English breakfast but this was not the case we fully enjoyed the choices on offer.We will return sometime in the future.
Review 14：Emma & Tim were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, breakfasts are delicious, the house is beautiful, the surroundings are fantastic, and the little personal touches made our stay all the more perfect - a pot of tea and little home made brownies on arrival, and a bottle of fizz left in our room to celebrate our engagement. We wanted to move in, not leave!

Review 38：Beautiful location, excellent facilities and Tim and Emma are wonderful hosts. Our king size room was delightful, it was immaculate and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble, it was our pleasure to stay.
Review 39：One niggle was the temperature at certain times eg the dining room at breakfast was a little chilly and late afternoon when Emma & Tim were both out the radiators were off and unfortunately the extra heater (thoughtfully provided) did not warm the room sufficiently. As soon as Emma returned she turned on the central heating and the room warmed up quickly. I fear it is the nature of the building that makes it hard to heat and we appreciated that Emma & Tim did repeatedly mention we should use the extra electric heaters whenever we felt the need.
Review 40：Emma and Tim are great hosts and they make you feel very welcome. The room was very large and the quality of the linens and products (The White Company toiletries and diffusers) excellent. Breakfasts were very nicely prepared eg croissants and breads warmed, smoked salmon delicious.

Eventhough there was no cooked breakfast the continental breakfast was more than enough to start the day. We would definitely recommend Westfield House Farm to anyone wanting a stay in his part of the country.
Review 44：We stayed for the weekend in mid October. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The bedroom was enormous and the view from the window showed Coquetdale to advantage in Autumn. Where else would you see deer, hares, hens, sheep and cattle when opening your curtains in the morning? The hosts Tim and Emma went out of their way to be helpful, are the most friendly hosts we have met and they deserve every success in their business endeavour. Their children are so lucky to be growing up in such an environment. And to top it all off, the weather was sunny, warm and dry for the whole weekend in mid October and the Alwinton Border Shepherds Show was the most enjoyable yet. To misquote Arnie, "We'll be back" :)

Review 63：The whole experience. The accommodation was excellent and the quality of fittings and extras was first rate. The farm is located in a wonderful rural setting, which is very relaxing, yet close to Rothbury. We were attending a local wedding, but we would certainly use go again if we just wanted to relax or explore the countryside. The young family who run the accommodation could not have been more friendly or accommodating.
Review 64：If you listen carefully you can hear some bats and swallows under the roof. Perfectly normal for the farm house it is, but some people might dislike that. We did not :).
