Review 1：We felt very much at home at the Blue Pig and were always warm and cosy despite the icy, January chill outside. Sue and Bill were extremely welcoming and Sue's breakfasts were superb!
Review 2：A warm welcome and the owners couldn't do enough to help. Very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room and super breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
Review 3：Blue Pig is a cosy ,comfy old cottage in a great location in the heart of this pretty market town . The fire in the stove as you enter and the warm welcome from the owners both make you feel immediately at home . The only difficulty you will have is being able to stand up after a " belly buster" of a breakfast with locally sourced produce! And to top it all each room has a free private parking space nearby . A rarity in this town that even bigger establishments don't have. A winner in our book. Thanks Bill and Sue for everything xx
Review 4：From entering the property we were both given a really warm welcome. The place was spotless, with comfy bed, excellent shower room and extremely peaceful. Our hosts just couldn't do enough for us with local advice and guidance.

KL is a short drive from Lake District, Howgills, Yorks Dales and Forest of Bowland We had comfy beds and lovely breakfast and would stay again

Review 30：The house is beautiful with lots of character,superb location, parking space,extremely friendly owners, & the best cooked breakfast we have ever had! My partner & I could only book the twin room as the double was taken. But it was so comfortable & the ensuite was amazing & so spacious, it really did not matter that it was a twin.

Review 38：The room was very cosy underfloor heating in shower ! Bed was really comfortable and so peaceful. Our hosts were fantastic nothing too much trouble and the best breakfast ever with local produce served on lovely crockery . Parking was a real bonus . Highly recommended .
Review 39：Me and my partner stayed for his birthday on New Year's Day and the 2nd. A lovely welcome by the couple who own the hotel made us feel right at home. The room was lovely and breakfast in the morning was to die for. After working all over Christmas and new year we decided to go back to bed after breakfast on the 2nd and Bill and Sue left us to it and didn't try to force us out in order to service the room which was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and with the help of Bill and Sue visited some lovely bars and restaurants which excelled all expectations! Thanks again and can't wait to visit you again soon in the lovely Kirkby Lonsdale :)
Review 40：We stayed on a Saturday night and were disappointed with a particularly early breakfast (8:15-9:00) on the Sunday morning and check out but 10am. This alone would make us look elsewhere for our next visit

Breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Conveniently placed in the centre of Kiirby Lonsdale, great for eating out in the evening plenty of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. Recommendations from Sue and Bill were good.Easy to access main roads and transport routes into the dales,south lakes and Lancashire.
