Review 1：Very friendly professional staff. The property was in an ideal setting with pool and sea so close by. Very efficient and friendly staff who were always so helpful.

Review 2：No bad experiences with Bella Mare but we were not expecting the aggressive mosquitoes in Kassiopi castle. Their attentions led to some uncomfortable nights. This is not a criticism of the hotel, which provides an anti-mosquito device, but prospective travellers should be aware that it's worth taking insect repellent.

Review 3：Staff, location, breakfasts; close to good coastal walk to next village and not too far to amenities of Kassiopi (though a car is recommended as the walk into town is not very pleasant). Two good places to eat within a few minutes' walk. We hope to stay at Bella Mare again.

Review 4：Pleasant relaxing environment, next to a quiey beach. Good selection of restaurants within walking didtance and the best the island has to offer within15/30 mininutes in a car .

Review 5：The location is far from ideal. More than an hour's drive from the air/sea ports, but doesn't feel secluded. There were *lots* of bugs - mosquitoes, bees, hornets - all over the place. Even in the rooms, if u left the door open. This somehow didn't affect the kids (tho one was stung by a hornet on our last day there), but the adults were constantly itchy. Lobby wasn't air conditioned, which made breakfast a bit sweaty. We could use some more hot water.

Review 6：The hotel is beautiful, small enough not to fee crowded, close to the beach. Breakfast was very good - not varied, small selection, but everything except the coffee was delicious. The staff are helpful and polite, no complaints.

Review 7：There were never hot water, only lukewarm. We approached the reception desk several times but they said we are the only guests that complain (4 rooms in different buildings...). The hotel managers are not generous, to say the least. They make you feel your requests for dayly bath toiletries and fresh towels are out of line. With just a little extra, this hotel will go from good to excellent.

Review 8：We stayed for a week together with my mother, sister'site and brother's families (12 guests together). The location is amazing with beautiful pool and garden just on the Avlaki beach. The rooms are very spacious. Although booked for 3, we accommodated our 4 kids in one room. The breakfast was good with fresh pastries every morning. The food and staff at the pool cafeteria was very good.

Review 9：The accommodation certainly wouldn't make a 4 star in the UK. Visited Greece on circa 30 occasions and the apartment in comparison to others can only be best described as average. We stopped in 302 which unlike other 1 bed apartments did not have a proper front door, just lockable shutters..... Previous week we stopped at another location and the apartment was cleaned daily. Bella Mare cleaned only twice, the 2nd time the morning prior to check out. I would recommend the bins are at least emptied every other day for a self-catering apartment.

Review 10：Great pool and well maintained gardens. Good location for a relaxing holiday, beach to pool only 25 meters. Fantastic breakfast. Staff especially Mario very helpful.

Review 11：1.Taxi transfer arranged by hotel - based one one page where was noted that Bella Mare has free taxi transfer we requested this while booking . Then we got note that all request were accepted with no cost .. We were happy and delighted.. But 2 hours before the late evening flight we recived email that the transfer is arranged and would cost 55 €! This was really unpleasent surprise .. We spoke with the hotel and there was no possibility to find solution due late arrival and lack of time we took the expensive version but felt really pushed into it... There is no need to have free transport but the customer should be informed in advance so we could look into other options. 2.Breakfast could have more variety, especialy fruits and muesli even we emailed in advance and asked about healthy options (approved at no cost) but tvhe reality is super sweet prefabricated cornflakes and chocolate chips

Review 12：Location is amazing, big garden, big clean sea view pool. Pool bar is nice with friendly stuff and fresh drinks. Avlaki beach is quite stony beach with acess to one hidden beach where you can enjoy just yourself . 2 nice tavernas on the beach serve fresh fish

Review 15：Breakfasts are very poor: cooked egg, limited set of cheeses, tomatoes, bread and something sweet. In the nearby there are only 2 restaurants. So in order to vary your dinners you need a car. Wi-fi works only in public areas.

Review 16：The hotel is very close to the beautiful pebble beach. The room is spacious and has many pleasant faclities such as kettle, tablware, toaster. The personnel is friendly.
