Review 1：Warm and friendly welcome on arrival and staff friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Lovely comfy, spotlessly clean rooms of excellent high standard with meticulous attention to detail.
Review 2：No car park, not massive problem though, apart from raining bad after check in. Plus accept work has to be done, but pull in point for check in full both days with work vans.

Review 5：The staff were very friendly. Room was beautifully presented. This trip was a birthday present and I was greeted with a small bottle of bubbly as a treat by the establishment owners. Food was amazing! Would definitely recommend!
Review 6：The doorway into the room I stayed in (Room 11) is very low. In themorning, forgetting how low it was, I cracked my head badly on the dooras I left my room for breakfast and woke up on the floor in the hallwaysometime later with stars in my eyes and a big bloody crack on the topof my head. Now I'm back in la I still have a bump and a welt on myhead. Room 11 is for short people only! (Fyi I'm 5'8")
Review 7：The staff were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful -absolutely everything you could ask for. Top marks. And the food wassuperb too. Also, if you're a fan of a good view, Ruskin's Viewis literally about 2 minutes walk from the front door.
Review 8：Be aware now parking on site, but they give fee parking badges for guests and they took our luggage from our car when we stopped outside and put ready in our room - so a really excellent service

Review 18：This is our favourite place to stay . Excellent attentive staff . This pub is special , the ambience is second to none . The rooms are spacious, ultra clean and have little extras such as perfume for guests to use and bathroom accessories from The Bath Store. Excellent hotel/ pub . Highly recommended !

Very well equipped room with a pleasant view to the parish church. Free parking pass for use in the town car parks and also in certain Lake District towns.

Review 29：Fabulous old Inn. The position at the heart of the town of Kirkby Lonsdale was lovely. All the staff where extremely friendly. The food is extremely high quality and beautifully presented. The rooms are clean, comfy, cosy and well maintained. Decor is modern contemporary with nice touches such as a small flask of cold milk and homemade biscuits. Do not be put off by the lack of car parking. A permit is available to park on town car parks not far away.

Review 42：Excellent location in centre of town, extremely welcoming staff and high quality accommodation. We stayed with our dog and would recommend as a destination for other dog owners. We were able to eat breakfast and dinner with him in the very welcoming bar. Even the lack of parking was not an issue as we were given a permit to park in one of the nearby car parks and there is a space outside to load and unload luggage. Highly recommended.
Review 43：The Sun Inn is a very cute little inn that dates back to 1610 - we loved the historical aspect mixed with clean, modern facilities and furnishings. The staff were lovely and very helpful - and the waiters were all very interested in chatting and getting to know us. Had a lovely stay and would definitely come back!
