Review 1：Bar a bit noisy, could hear it in our room but not really a problem
Review 2：Great location, very friendly owner and staff. Good value bed and breakfast. Full use of pool and sun beds at hotel next door
Review 3：The hotel is very isolated with hostel quality rooms. The bed actually broke on us, there was no tv in the room, the shower curtain had holes and the music from the bar was very loud until the late hours. Would not stay again due to quality of hotel and isolated location.

Review 6：The rooms are fairly basic but this is reflected in the price you pay. I would have liked a bath but that's a luxury not a necessity.
Review 7：We are just back from an amazing 10 day stay at Hotel Athina. We had the best holiday and will be booking to go back next year. Makis (the owner) is an excellent host and we met some fabulous people. Counting down the months to the next one already!

Really best stay we've had so far on our trip, definitely reccomend renting a car or hitch hiking for day trips when you're there if you want to explore more of the island but if not, the beach in front of the hotel is lovely too :)

Review 26：Makis Makis Makis!! It was evident that he was the draw there as people we spoke to came back year after year and I am considering the same. If you ever wanted a lesson on graciousness, warmth and being an incredible host, stay here for a few nights! He works to connect people and make sure everyone has an extraordinary time at his hotel...I figured all the drinks he was giving us at the most opportune moments would show up on the tab but not a one- amazing in all facets.
Review 27：We were made to feel most welcome by our host, who made great effort to engage with all guests personally. The hotel is conveniently located for walking into Sami, where there are plenty of good tavernas. We also enjoyed being able to use the pool at the sister hotel which is next door. This part of Kefalonia is particularly attractive and there are amazing views across the bay from the shore.
