Review 1：I will never forget walking in our bedroom and getting our first view of the swimming pool and out to a beautiful turquoise sea. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I cant recommend highly enough.

Review 2：Site felt a bit cramped. Not any privacy on the balcony of our room. Food at lunch and dinner not very interesting

Review 4：Hotel caters to British visitors-- hardly felt like we were in Greece. Breakfast was abysmal-- rubbery eggs. Found blood stain on our sheets upon arrival. When we told the concierge, she laughed with no apology. Disgusting!

Review 6：The staff are very helpful and Minolis gets special mention, an incredibly hard worker, great bartender/waiter and such a friendly guy. This place is worth spending that little bit extra for a couple of nights whilst you're in Kefalonia. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Review 7：People on half/full board package tours have reserved tables in the best restaurant, and for individual travellers there are only tables without view (which take 15 minutes to prepare). First five star restaurant I have been to where you can't flush toilet paper through the toilet... No place to hang shower head. Wifi connection is patchy at best.

Review 8：This is a great resort with a great pool, nice rooms, very nice amenities, outstanding breakfast, beautiful views and not so crowded. It is a bit pricey, buy you get what you pay for.

Review 11：We booked this hotel for one night. Our wedding night. When booking the hotel I wrote a message to them that this was gonna be our wedding night. We went to the hotel 2 days before to ask if we could check in a bit earlier, which was fine. But also told them again that it was gonna be our wedding night. Also when we checked in on our wedding day (before we got married) we told them that it was our wedding day that day. When we later around midnight after the wedding came to the hotel in wedding dress and all they looked surprised and said " oh we didn't know, we didn't know. Eh? We've told you 3 times, you DID know! I mean could be nice with something in the room, like a bottle of something or some flower petals, didn't have to be much. Fair enough, they knocked on our door 2 min later and gave us a bottle of wine and said sorry we didn't know again. But still, after telling them 3 times you would think they would get the point!

Review 23：We had a problem with the hot water system in our room for 2 days, webrought it to the attention of the Manager and within 1 hour they hadmoved us to a superior room with no extra charge and a lovely bottle ofwine. Excellent service

Review 24：The beach area wasn't very nice, but not sure that this is the property of the hotel? Also the cooked breakfast was cold, other than the options you could order to be freshly cooked.

Review 26：The toilets near the pool by the gym, the floor was always slippery and i feel it is only time before someone slips and hurts themselves. otherwise our stay was really good, the hotel was very clean and all the staff were very friendly

Review 28：For beach lovers (we are not), the beach nearby is not great (peables and not wide and doesnt look very clean). Breakfast does not have too much choice of bread and viennoiserie/local pastry for an hotel of that category. Quality of croissant was not the best

Review 29：Staff was very helpfull, checking with port authorities if boat to Zante was departing. Room (pool and sea view) is very nice and modern with balcony, flat TV and very nice bathroom. Location is perfect for us, 15-20 min walk from Sami restaurant but 5 min walk from a very good terrasse overlooking the sea. 15 min walk from Melissina cave.

Review 30：The fact that guests from the Athina Beach hotel were able to use thepool facilities was niggling. Although we did not experience anydifficulty in finding a sun bed, we would have been annoyed if this hadoccurred. If the Ionian Emerald is seeking an exclusive market, itshould think long and hard about offering its facilities to anotherhotel with lower tariffs - this practice can quickly dilute the highquality experience that is being offered to guests who are being askedto pay a premium rate. The breakfast was bland and lacked variety. Ourjacuzzi bath did not work - a small criticism. Overall, we liked thehotel a great deal but the presence of Athina Beach guests may stop usfrom returning.
