Review 1：This is an older style hotel but we stayed in a recently renovated and extended room which was large and well appointed. The hotel is at the foot of the steep climb into the old town and very quiet at night.
Review 2：This little hotel is well situated for walking into the town centre and to see its main sights, Aiguilhe (the Rock and chapel of St Michael) and old town and Cathedral. We were also able to walk to the vibey Saturday morning market. Our room was fairly spacious, light and airy with a good bathroom and comfortable beds. More than anything, we were on demi pension and were very impressed with the delicious 4 course dinners each evening (the owner is the chef) and the excellent and friendly service. We couldn't fault this charming logis as it was excellent value for money.
Review 3：Bed bugs. We were eaten alive by bed bugs. Killed 3 and put them in a baggy and showed to staff. They said first time this has happened. House keeping supposedly went up to room and found no traces. Really! They offered to change our room - would you be able to sleep in this hotel? No thank you. They still charged us for another night that we did not stay there and for the next mornings breakfast, which we didn't eat because we wouldn't stay there another night. We didn't have bed bug bites before we stayed there. We have not had any bites since we checked out. They pretty much accused us if making it up.
Review 4：Parking at the hotel is not free (except weekends and holidays). The hotel manager has a sign "I'll be in 5 minutes" that means nothing. At check in we waited about 20 minutes, at the next morning we left the keys in the room because the reception was closed all the time (of course, with that sign).
Review 5：Hotel is located very close to the historic center, but with good road access. There are many parking places nearby. Hotel manager was friendly, there were a lot of rooms free upon our arrival, so we even could choose one of that.
