Reviews for Robinsbrook
Review 1:Wonderful rural setting and yet within easy reach of a town. Room was excellent. Food was excellent. The owners were wonderfully friendly and helped with identifying local places to eat etc. Hope to revisit soon.
Review 2:Nothing to dislike here
Review 3:Lovely setting, bedrooms (4) very tasteful, go for the larger bedroom, well worth it, massive bathroom with freestanding bath & huge shower; Chris (& his Dalmatian dog) was our host, friendly, helpful, welcoming, pointed us to Kirkstile Inn at Loweswater for evening meal, 6 miles away, fantastic fillet steak; would definitely recommend this beautiful residence for a break away, we had a relaxing stay in excellent facilities, will definitely return.
Review 4:Chris and Gail are very welcoming hosts who take pride in their home and their guests' happiness. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast was delicious. Chris also provided lots of useful tips to enjoy their beautiful surrounding countryside.
Review 5:Everything! Wonderful hospitality, rooms are finished to an extremely high standard, very comfy bed, the best room we've stopped in anywhere. Everything has been very well thought of. The hosts are lovely, not too imposing but very friendly and do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. Lovely breakfast, wish we could have stayed longer! Will be recommending to others!
Review 6:The owners complete the experience. So warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked through the door. The best way I could describe it would be having the service of a top hotel but the feeling of staying in your favourite relatives home.
Review 7:Beautiful peaceful location just a short drive from cockermouth. Lovely rooms with everything you need. Chris & Gail are perfect hosts couldnt have asked for anything more from them.
Review 8:We loved the welcoming by hosts Chris and Gail. Their country home is freshly renovated with all modern conveniences. Breakfast was first class by Chris and the living-room was cosy and delightful.
Review 9:From the moment we stepped through the door, our holiday began! Chris and Gail met us with a warm welcome and were the perfect hosts throughout our stay.Rooms tastefully dressed, very clean, beds extremely comfortable after long days walking, menu varied, meals beautifully presented, large comfortable lounge and conservatory to relax in. We couldn't have asked for more.

Review 12:Beautiful bed and breakfasts, the owners where so helpful and kind. Bedrooms where lovely and the breakfast was fantastic would most definitely go again.
Review 13:The wifi is bad in the whole area not just this B&B. The only improvement that could be made is filling the gaps in the door as some of the hallway light came in at night.
Review 14:The house has been restored to a very high standard. The owners were very welcoming. We loved all the finishing touches in the room e.g. bedside tables, drinks machine

Review 17:We loved the location, the excellent modern decor, the cleanliness and touches of luxury that made this stay feel special. Attention to detail, like little Easter eggs, bottles of water, finding mueslie on a Sunday, offering for us to join them for Easter dinner - just overall friendliness and welcoming atmosphere :)
