Reviews for Abbey Guest House
Review 1:The landlady was absolutely brilliant and helped out when we got stuck with an issue of the trip (not related to our accommodation) and her breakfast was fab.
Review 2:The curtains were thin and let in a lot of light from the main road streetlights which wasn't very restful.
Review 3:It was a very hot evening and they happily provided an electric fan to cool my room down so I could sleep easily. The shared bathroom was very clean and spacious with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was well cooked.
Review 4:The shared bathroom shower was uncomfortable to use as the temperature varied between very hot and very cold rather than maintain a constant acceptable temperature. No chairs in the room to place clothing on.
Review 5:Quality and quantity of Breakfast & room refreshments was very good. Free wi-fi Bowl of sweets by the front door!
Review 6:We were very pleased with our room which was spacious, light, clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. Easily accommodated the very comfortable King size bed. Impressed by the generous, Fairtrade supply of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.
Review 7:Limited parking on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited number of ensuite rooms unless paying more for facility.
Review 8:Friendly staff Proximity to where I was working Breakfast Good wifi connection Cleanliness
Review 9:Nothing. Some people might think the room I was in was a bit small - but it was fine for me, and I was given the choice of a larger room in any case.
Review 10:A family run guest house. They made me feel welcome - so much better than going to characterless chain-hotels.
