Reviews for Innocence Rooms - East
Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:Looks like a all residential bungalow from outside.... Parking good ..... Once inside warm and welcoming. Good atmosphere with large kitchen .... Self service blast and cuppa when you feel the need. Tastefully decorated and very clean and tidy. Helpful staff.
Review 3:There was nothing I didn't like fabulous place
Review 4:It's just a great place to stay beautiful decor, and just help yourself to something to eat. Would highly recommend staying there. We've been a couple of times now and would definitely be going back.
Review 5:Facilities were outstanding (especially all-day use of kitchen, conservatory and garden). Accommodation was spacious and comfortable. Staff were excellent.
Review 6:Amenities are better than many hotels giving a very homely and comfortable feel. Rooms are all large and well and equipped. Wonderful breakfast spread.
Review 7:The heating did not come on at night.
Review 8:Cosy , comfortable. Proximity to where I had to get to.All the essential were provided Also a decent breakfast in the morning.
Review 9:As an alternative type of hotel, there are no staff on site - it's completely help yourself. As a single female, I only saw other single male guests in the kitchen and I must admit I I felt a little bit vulnerable at night.
Review 10:Beautiful quality, clean room and kitchen with great facilities.
Review 11:Nothing. Well, may be the kitchen bar stools were a tad difficult to get on and off.
Review 12:Great location, well equipped, comfortable room, kitchen facilities 24/7; in between B & B and hotel; very friendly staff and excellent communications during booking process.
Review 13:A great concept with excellent facilities. Lovely comfortable room with the level of extra services that you would only see in a 4 star hotel. Welcoming hosts; love the open shared kitchen where you can leave your own food. Perfect B & B.thw
Review 14:No bad experience but on one occasion (out of 5) insufficient room to eat breakfast inside.
Review 15:The Staff and their willingness to help out. Excellent breakfast spread.
Review 16:Everything was good apart from windows overlooking the garden which were only there with thick blinds so you need the light on and blinds drawn even on a sunny morning. Also noisy staff and banging doors at 6.30 waking you up are not good! We had an apology but needed our sleep more!
Review 17:Room was comfortable and well appointed but bed was not good for my back
Review 18:Nothing. I cannot fault this B&B - I only wish I had found it sooner ! I did try to leave feedback on your website, but wasn't able to, for some reason ?
Review 19:Everything ! The whole set up is fab. Communal kitchen, where you can help yourself to tea/coffee/biscuits/proper milk (not UHT!). As a single female, I do not want to sit in a pub on my own for my evening meal, so having a microwave there is great, and somewhere to eat & relax. Bedroom (The Studio) was lovely and spacious. Owners & staff very friendly and polite. Place was spotless.
Review 20:This has soured our idea of looking at properties on line. To easy to charge folk.
Review 21:We didn't stay in this venue. We were travelling and communication impossible. So ! feel very peeved we were billed for this location.
Review 22:No tea-making facilities in the room (you have to go to the communal kitchen to make hot drinks!)
Review 23:standard of furnishings, cleanliness, lovely spacious room
Review 24:Rooms were spacious and well equipped. We loved the self service 24 hour kitchen. We felt that the "set up" encouraged people to mix. Parking was on site and there were spaces for all the rooms.
Review 25:Nothing, it was all good.
Review 26:The room, the coded access made it easy for arrival and to come and go, the kitchen with access to tea/coffee etc., the help yourself continental breakfast (lots of choice).
Review 27:We booked 3 of the 6 rooms for a wedding near by. The lady doing breakfast was so lovely as was the breakfast. Facilities and location good. Good communication beforehand.
Review 28:This hotel was absoloutely fantastic. The communal areas made it feel like home and the staff were extremley helpful and friendly. The room was also beautifully designed. We can't wait to stay again next time we visit Ipswich!
Review 29:Very clean, nice room with modern bathroom. We liked the general layout of the hotel. It feels like home, with a large well equipped kitchen, a conservatory and a garden. Very friendly staff.
Review 30:24 hour shared kitchen for hot and cold food and drinks quiet, even though bedroom was next to shared lounge good bus service to town centre outside property.
Review 31:absolutely nothing.
Review 32:Very impressed with my whole stay. Although a little different to the "normal" B&B it was great to help yourself at breakfast and also be able to use the kitchen facilities as and when you pleased. Breakfast lay out was a super choice and although if you wanted anything cooked you did this yourself everything was ready to use. The staff could not have been more helpful and my room was as you would expect in an expensive hotel. Lovely large comfortable bed with tasteful bedding, furnishings etc. 10 out of10! Will be staying again.
Review 33:Two taps in bathroom.
Review 34:Welcoming staff, slightly uncommon breakfast approach, but i liked it, gives more flexibility! there is a long walking route not far to the north from the place.
Review 35:That I could only stay one night!
Review 36:The building was in immaculate condition, the room fantastically clean and exceeded my own OCD standards, the en suite again immaculate and welcoming. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the staff took every care prior to my arrival and also during my stay. I would have been willing to pay twice what I did for this place. Has to be he best guest house in ipswich if not Suffolk!
Review 37:It was great to have somewhere that you can treat as home but with the added bonus of the luxury of not having to tidy up. Breakfast was in abundance nicely laid out for you in the morning. Tea and Coffee were available throughout the day as were the biscuits!! We were here with a friend from Canada who was on business, but had a couple of days free. Perfect for all our needs. Lovely walking area. We shall return with our dog.
Review 38:We had the family room. The double bedroom had beautiful thick curtains but light from outside came in over the curtain pole and as the window faced the main road, this was a problem to us - we're used to sleeping in a dark room. The roman blind in the twin room was a much more effective blackout, so we slept in that room on the second night. For a family room, there was too little drawer and hanging space - a proper wardrobe would have been preferable to the (just adequate) clothes rail in the twin room.
Review 39:The whole house was decorated and furnished to a high standard. Our room and the large kitchen/diner were beautiful, and scrupulously clean. The en-suite wet room was brilliant! The shower was so good! I loved the stained glass in the entrance hall! We liked the fact that we had full use of the kitchen at any time and could help ourselves to the food, or cook our own food if we chose to. There was plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast that was laid out for us and we were given the option to cook eggs or other food if we chose. Susie was friendly, and her young assistant was chatty without being intrusive. Overall, a place we would be happy to stay in again.
Review 40:We have just arrived back from a weekend staying at Innocence Rooms... the place is truly a home from home, only better! Supremely clean and lovely decor, the room we had was the Studio and it felt like having your own home for the weekend. Very spacious and just a beautiful place to be. Will certainly be returning when we next visit the East coast.
Review 41:Very difficult to park. Practically on a roundabout so difficult to access if cars behind. Unpleasant smell in room. Sour smell from towels and bedding. Noise preventing sleep.
Review 42:Choice of food for breakfast except for bread.Freedom to use kitchen.
Review 43:the wet room. coz its all wet everywhere, not really friendly specially when you only wanted to brush or spend a penny. so it will end up either wet feet or shoes in. otherwise everything are very good
Review 44:i like everything location, hospitality it feels like home
Review 45:We liked the huge room & having the use of a lovely kitchen to be able to make teas & coffee's at any time. We also liked the idea of having all the breakfast laid out & just help yourself. The bed was really comfortable
Review 46:Nice friendly staff and very clean nice spacey rooms with comfy bed and especially loved the wet room/ bathroom . Is looking forward to staying here again sometime soon in the near future x
Review 47:Only very tiny thing for me was slight road noise from traffic in the morning and no kettle in my room so I had to keep going back down stairs for a hot drink, this is just purely my preference and even so will definitely be staying here again!!!!
Review 48:My room was upstairs which was A lovely big, immaculate room and ensuite with toiletries, comfy bed, wifi throughtout and a big flat screen TV. The kitchen / dinner was fabulous and huge with everything needed to cook your own food and there was complimentary tea / coffee/ hot chocolate/ cakes / biscuits/ bread / cheese. Breakfast was lovely buffet style help yourself which was all laid out in the morn and there was so much to choose from ie: various cereals, muesli, toasting breads and fresh baked loaf, eggs, yogurt, cakes / patisserie, fruit etc! There was a fancy dinning area and lovely conservatory which you could sit in and lounge around!! Absolutely loved staying here!!!
Review 49:do not like making own breakfast even if a nice selection in clean kitchen it is well away from restaurants and shops entrance to car park very tight on a roundabout great care needed miss not having anyone to ask about where to go and eat when you arrive nice guest house - must be me but feel the feed back is very generous for what it is
Review 50:clean nice very pleasant two sisters who own it
Review 51:Very comfortable bed. Excellent decor. Outstandingly good facilities with self-catering available in addition to B and B. Friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Review 52:The heavy scent of room spray and/or scented laundry products. Some guests are sensitive to these products and cause discomfort.
Review 53:Very helpful attitude of staff. They were anxious to please, even to coming in to prepare Sunday morning breakfast early. Amazing breakfast fayre,so much choice beautifully presented. The beautiful, artistic surroundings and attention to detail.
Review 54:no cooked breakfast no one to greet you
Review 55:clean comfortable home from home nice conservatory lots of choice breakfast but prefer cooked pleasant host when there
Review 56:While the studio was lovely, certain aspects could have been cleaner and the location next to the conservatory meant being woken up early at the weekend while other guests/staff sit outside the studio door talking or staff moving in/out storage room next to the room.
Review 57:Modern deco and kitchen. Easy access 24/7. Spacious studio room.
Review 58:We were given a door code to enter when we arrived. We had been told where our room was in the building. Breakfast was a DIY job, everything provided, just cook and/or serve yourself. Great concept. Guests felt at ease when it came to wash up or stow in dish-washer - just like home!
Review 59:All the personal touches The free wifi the fantastic and large bedroom beautiful large bathroom and powerful shower wonderful & extensive buffet breakfast The excellent host ALL this for an amazingly low price
Review 60:no tea and coffeee facilities in room, but I can understand this as guests have 24 hour access to the kitchen facilities, however I didn't want to go into the communal kitchen to make a coffee in my pyjamas, just a personal feeling.
Review 61:very clean and modern rooms, lovely breakfast, easy to check in at any time, very accommodating.
Review 62:That we only had one night! Wanted to stay longer.
Review 63:Loved everything - the Studio Room was delightful. Very comfy and quiet. breakfast was wonderful - lovely to be able to have a DIY breakfast and feel that you are at home. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches and beautifully decorated. Felt very comfy and welcome
Review 64:Parking provision could be improved - we were unable to use the drive due to a combination on inconsiderate parking by other guests and somebody having two cars with them.
Review 65:Beautiful, immaculate rooms. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen-diner and conservatory are very relaxing and staff are excellent.
Review 66:I honestly cannot fault it
Review 67:I have started to make quite frequent use of Innocence rooms and have never before found anywhere as accommodating to stay. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Review 68:Excellent in every way, the owners go out of their way to please, excellent large we'll equipped room Attention to detail illustrated by fact that as we asked for travel cot, plugs were baby proofed Highly recomended
Review 69:Put in a request for non dairy but staff knew nothing about this? Breakfast buffet was lovely, though an available English breakfast would have been appreciated
Review 70:It was soptlessly clean, modern and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 71:Lovely spacious room, amazing self service kitchen, beautiful garden....definitely recommend staying here. Go to one of the nearby supermarkets and then cook dinner in the lovely kitchen and eat outside if you are lucky with the weather!
Review 72:People arriving at 01:00 and 01:45 making noise and talking until after 2 o'clock in the morning.
Review 73:Clean Rooms, comfortable beds, efficient and helpful booking. Key pad entry to enable arrival at any time
