Review 1:Wonderful and relaxing stay. Rooms spotless and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The owner's were kind and friendly with a lot of knowledge of places to visit and where to eat. Overall a great place
Review 2:Lovely, clean accommodation in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was top notch too. The staff were all professional and attentive and the owner Janette is an absolute star... Thanks so much for making us feel comfortable
Review 3:The hospitality of the owners was above and beyond our expectations providing a lift to the local town on both nights and making us feel very welcome ?
Review 4:Lovely clean, comfortable accomodation and scrumptious breakfasts. Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for us, the owner, Jenette, going above and beyond, using her local contacts to help arrange a surprise treat for our son which made his week.
Review 5:Loved the house the spacious and comfortable suite. The breakfasts were superb as were the family who own it. We received such a warm welcome and made to feel so much at home.the location was great for the lake district and the coast. The nearby town of cockermouth was lovely.
Review 6:Lovely rooms, wonderful friendly family service, and a fantastic breakfast all included (smoked salmon scrambled eggs - yum!). We were in town for a wedding in nearby Lorton and also took some lovely walks nearby Graysonside. The owners of this B&B were so helpful they even gave us a lift to the train station the next day so as to avoid us having to pay a hefty taxi fare! We will definitely return to this gem in the Lakes District, and next time we will stay for at least a week rather than just a couple of nights. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Review 7:Stay here a lot for work - lovely people, good location close to local restaurants and calm, quiet rooms that are perfect for me (I think I've stayed in 5 of them!) best is room 4 so don't book that one please... Haha.
Review 8:Only 2 armchairs in the lounge in a 3 person suite
Review 9:Comfort, cleanliness, superb wet room in our 2 bedroom suite along with a lovely breakfast and excellent service. Having the 2nd bedroom was perfect for us.
Review 10:There were lovely views from the breakfast room, with a proliferation of songbirds outside due to the bird feeders and nesting boxes. The flowers and plants in the courtyard containers were also beautiful.
Review 11:Although free wifi was available, it never worked for me. Having said that, it was probably good to relax without access to emails and Facebook for three days!
Review 12:Very hospitable, breakfasts were fantastic. Stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was terrific, loved the shower room!
Review 13:Zero
Review 14:Perfect place after very busy wedding celebration in lake district The facilities were equal to the 4 star hotel that we spent 2 days in keswick The owners were polite and welcoming bit not intrusive
Review 15:Nothing that we did not like.
Review 16:Beautiful location, Staff were so lovely and exceptionally helpful. Room was luxurious, breakfast was absolutely fantastic!! Could not praise our stay at Graysonside enough.
Review 17:Jeanette and Donna looked after us like family.very friendly and always pleasant.nothing was too much bother. The accomodation was excellent and kept spotless.Breakfasts were excellent.
Review 18:Poor reception on Channel 5! Breakfast was also early for a leisure break, between 7 and 9, but the owners did ask if this was ok with us and I'm sure they would have changed it for us had we said.
Review 19:Loved our twin room in a converted barn type building, finished to a very high standard. Staff were exceptionally welcoming too.
Review 20:Nothing unpleasant, maybe some improvement needed for the walk-in shower so as to keep the bathroom floor dry.
Review 21:The en-suite with two rooms were airy and very tidy. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. The hostness, Janette was very helpful and efficient.
Review 22:The size of our room, the cleanliness and the friendliness. The location is lovely and very relaxing. The breakfast was great, a fantastic choice and service.
Review 23:Very disappointed not REALLY in countryside and especially because of the busy dual carriageway way nearby did not have the quietness or ambience of countryside. The nearby hills were not nearby and the view was of a newish barn.Cockermouth is a rather down in the mouth town and couldn't find a pleasant place to eat so bought fish and chips and sat in a rather dour park.
Review 24:Friendly , clean and tidy.

Review 35:Leaving.
Review 36:We stayed in the 2 room suite in mid June, 2015 and cannot praise it highly enough. our suite was comfortable, luxurious, spotless and very tasteful. Janette, the owner is a pure delight - funny, entertaining, helpful, efficient and super organised. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. the bathroom, large, tasteful, spotless and well-mirrored. Janette was helpful with our itinery, booked us a resteraunt, and even offered to drive us to the local pub so we wouldn't have to drive back. She put bottles of water in our rooms for us each day. A generous and plentiful breakfast was served, by Janette's lovely daughter in law, in the tasteful dining room overlooking their spacious gardens and fields, with serene classical music playing in the background. A serene, civilized ambience. We'll be back!
Review 37:Loved the garden view from the light airy dining room. The soft music during breakfast added to the tranquil atmosphere and gave a relaxing start to the day.
Review 38:Loved the beautiful, spotless room and the fantastic breakfast.

We stayed in one of the apartments, highly recommended - Very spacious, views of the mountains, self contained private garden with bbq & there's everything you need to cook in the kitchen. The owners couldn't do enough for you including giving us a lift into town saving us a taxi fare :-) Plenty of breakfast choice & all freshly cooked. Thanks for a fab weekend, can't wait to return!!

Review 53:The owners were very helpful in directing us toward hikes and other activities. They gave us books about local hikes and offered many insider suggestions. The rooms were very homey and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, in a bright, sunny room surrounded by birds and flowers. The hotel is set among working farms and is very quiet. There is a wonderful old manor house within easy walking distance that has excellent food. Graysonside was perfect; we hated to leave. In fact, if they weren't full we would have stayed longer than we did.

Review 57:décor, cleanliness, excellent breakfast ( one of the best, beats many 5* establishments for freshness and quality), hospitality of owner and no problem with parking even when you arrive back late , unlike many places. We stayed in the room which has its own sitting room and 2 bedrooms (double and a single) which is a really useful set up if , like us, you are travelling with an older child or third adult. The standard of Graysonside is exceptional.
