Reviews for Hôtel Restaurant Le Regina
Review 1:I had to remove a very lumpy under-duvet after an uncomfortable first night. The shower was very efficient but tended to spray all over the floor beyond the bath.
Review 2:The Hotel is in the middle of Le Puy and from my room I could see the statue of the Madonna and the Cathedral - especially beautiful at night. The exterior of the Hotel is very French - turrets, metal shutters etc. The double glazing is very effective for a quiet night's sleep.
Review 3:The one design fault was the toilet in our room - which was very small - a challenge for me, as I am over 6ft ! I was therefore forced to adopt a highly inelegant position! To give a perspective - my partner was fine, being only 5' 7".
Review 4:A very tastefully designed boutique-style hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and service. The location is very convenient being just across the road from the old town. They have their own small garages in which they park your car for you.
Review 5:It was hot, and we needed to leave the windows open at night. It was quite loud, and we had a hard time sleeping. Breakfast was less than stellar. A better option is to go to the bakery and the Carre Four up the street.
Review 6:The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown.
Review 7:Noise from the busy road outside. Garage available (4 places, booking probably essential) but tight parking.
Review 8:Had supper there, food very good and manageable servings. Breakfast also good.
Review 9:The shower had no shower curtain or other protection to stop everythingin the bathroom getting wet. And it was generally outdated. Bed was okto sleep in but was quite lumpy.
Review 10:The breakfast was nice, and it is close to the train station. Nice viewtowards the cathedral from our top floor room
Review 11:Second time around, the suite room with bath was much more cramped and had no view with smoked glass in the window. But generallly a comfortable hotel, a little expensive for what we got.
Review 12:The first time we stayed we got a family suite with a whirlpool bath on the 4th floor which was great, with lovely views and lot's of room, nicely furnished. This was very good value. The 2nd time, we were given a similar room but on a different floor, and it was much more cramped, with no view and generally less comfortable. My son got a nice single room, for him and his dog. The breakfast was OK, but no cooked element, but the evening meal was good, although the restaurant is rather formal. Great position on the edge of the old quarter, and good garage.
Review 13:we were sorry we only booked one night
Review 14:excellent location for the old town. unusual modern decor. helpful staff and private garaging. spacious room. excellent dinner in very good restaurant - the best steak we have had in France!
Review 15:Right in the centre of Le Puy; my room was very large and comfortable. Not much of a view, but overlooking a side street meaning it was quiet. There is rather an up-market restaurant as well.
Review 16:No shower curtain in bathroom, so impossible to prevent floor from being drenched.
Review 17:Fantastic restaurant. Imaginative gourmet food at very reasonable prices.
Review 18:Tiny paking garage located behind hotel. Try to avoid busy time of day when arriving, not the easiest hotel to access by car. It's a busy, congested area even for a small city.
Review 19:Nicely decorated room, jacuzzi tub nice to have after long day of walking around, close walk to restaurants and small grocery store nearby.
Review 20:They couldn't take our credit card because it didn't have achip in it. Not the hotels fault, but something to be aware of whentraveling in Europe
Review 21:This hotel is in a great location, a few short blocks from the trainstation, just go straight ahead and the take a left on the first mainroad. And about 4 blocks from Le Puy's old town. Its in a olderbuilding that's lit up at night. The rooms are large and bright. Wcis separate from the bath room. We highly recommend taking a night walkaround Le Puy. All of the monuments and churches are lit up as well asmany of the buildings and hotels. The staff were extremely friendly andhelpful, especially since my husband and I don't speak any French. The bed was very comfortable and the wi-fi worked well.
Review 22:The hotel is OK, but the restaurant is fabulous.
Review 23:very good location Hotel is also comfortable

Review 25:Naked man and woman at lift !!!!
Review 26:Quality,presentation and service in the restaurant was superb.
Review 27:Bed were huge and super comfortable It wasn't noisy at all Good location Has some parking spaces (for a small additional charge)
Review 28:Room had only 1 window and no air conditioning, so it got very hot and muggy very quickly.
Review 29:Restaurant was amazing and staff were spectacular.
Review 30:Rather dated aspect to the place. Restaurant served only large dinners, nothing light and was nearly empty the evenings we were there.
Review 31:The location in the historic center
Review 32:Rooms, corrodors and eleator definetely need a refurbishment.
Review 33:Excellent location in town centre and near the places of interest. Restaurant providing good food and attentive service.
Review 34:Room was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was fabulous.
Review 35:Comfortable. Nicely appointed room. Quite elegant hotel. In spite of being on busy road my room was quiet.
