Reviews for Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur
Review 1:location no facilities very boring place the place is very boring, nothing to do at all, nothing even around, to go to cannees u should order a taxi and it takes 30 mins to come then another 30 mins to reach cannes with paying 55 EUR going and 75 EUR coming back, i canceled my stay and book in mid of cannees the hotel refused to refund anything
Review 2:the sea view for 5 min
Review 3:The spa was closed and the sister hotel (whose spa was open) was inferior to the Yaktsa. Also, we wish there were either a less fussy/heavy restaurant option or more options on the room service menu (which was crazy expensive, as one would imagine). Small suggestions.
Review 4:Location was amazing, even breathtaking! Staff so friendly. The entire experience was so relaxing. Room and shower were divine and we wish we were back there now!
Review 5:We emailed it was our 25th anniversary, but no mention was made of it. Our room was lovely buy ess private because it was on the first floor. The staff follow through was not always consistent. We asked for information about a boat rental -which we never received it, etc.
Review 6:Setting was tranquil, romantic, and stunning. Welcome was warm and informative. The rooms and view were spectacular.
Review 7:Nothing not to like
Review 8:Very helpful staff , immaculate service. Personal attentive staff in this small beautifully designed and furnished hotel combined with'homely' feel. Restaurant excellent. Imaginative garden and pool area with wonderful views. We will return!
Review 9:Same menu for lunch and dinner - which is a very small complaint, there was still enough choice for two separate meals.
Review 10:Amazing location and building. Brilliant views. Great staff. Lovely food.
Review 11:The questionable service, pricing and lack of cocktail bar left us feeling underwhelmed. Ordering coffee from our room in the morning was awkward and as though we were asking for something unusual (€15 for two filter coffees feels extortionate even in an expensive luxury hotel). Poolside service is inadequate, and even premium priced bottles of champagne came with no accompaniments. Dinner was very good with a nice view, but as an English couple we received a noticeably lesser quality of service than the French couples around us. Overall, we had a lovely time, but I wouldn't recommend the hotel as other idyllically romantic luxury hotels around the world provide a generosity of service that justifies the price point far more sufficiently.
Review 12:The beautiful hillside location is perfect for a romantic getaway, the rooms are immaculately decorated (suite with a sea view is recommended), and the food is excellent.
Review 13:Nothing
Review 14:Perfect Hotel. One of the best I have been. Very familiar atmosphere. Rooms are very nice with great view. Recommend for traveling alone or with partner. Less for families. Will come again.
Review 15:Restaurant dinner menu was very good food - although relatively little choice and didn't change all week. Lunch an expensive affair - 25 euro for a not so special club sandwich! There's a sister hotel very close-by with a more extensive menu. Otherwise brilliant stay.
Review 16:Beautiful clean hotel and location. Perfect place to relax by the pool with incredible views.
Review 17:The superior rooms are extremely small, especially for the price. The food in the restaurants is so so, and poor price/quality. The area is known for the heavy pricing, but both the hotels take advantage for the lack of restaurants in the near walking distance. If the food was amazing ok, but thats also not the case. Make sure you have a car, because the hotel is remote and if you want to visit some places (even going to a bakery), you really need one.
Review 18:Decor, staff and service were perfect, view over the sea was beautiful, swimming pool and loungers the best. shuttle service to the Tiara Miramar very good.
Review 19:a car is a must and if you go in the off-peak season bear in mind that not all restaurants are open in the area.
Review 20:Amazing sea from the hotel
Review 21:Excellent staff very helpful & caring! Couldn't do enough to ensure your comfort! Beautiful hotel, fantastic position!
Review 22:Limited Menu
Review 23:Great location and friendly staff
Review 24:Quite hard bed and too soft pillow. Breakfast too expensive
Review 25:Stunning views and excellent customer service
Review 26:Everything - amazing location, beautiful food and great facilities at both hotels
Review 27:Parnershop with beach located Miramar is just great.
Review 28:The service whilst mostly excellent was very slow at times
Review 29:The day beds, swimming pool area and bed rooms were great
Review 30:no bar
Review 31:Breakfast was badly organised, staff couldn't cope even with small numbers of diners
Review 32:The pool
Review 33:Very well decorated and beautiful grounds. Fantastic staff and friendly!
Review 34:The room prices they are offer and using are complet different in respect of the same date of reservation. Even booking.com support this system.
Review 35:The location the staff the food and pool. All perfect.
Review 36:Wish we could afford to have stayed longer.
Review 37:We loved the service and staff from welcome to departure. The room, garden, pool, restaurant, spa, views are all unparalleled. The nicest private accommodations we have ever experienced.
Review 38:Expensive Car needed to get around/come to the hotel Not much choices on the dinner menue
Review 39:Wonderful view over the ocean Great room Service minded personnel
Review 40:May be they could improve the quality of the coffee :-)
Review 41:This hotel is situated very well (quiet and with a splendid vue). The staff (specifically the director) is extremely helpfull and friendly. We enjoyed this hotel very much. I have read some complaints about the breakfast but you should consider it's a small hotel (21 rooms) and you cannot expect the same big choice as you can enjoy in big hotels which have + 100 rooms. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.
Review 42:We were booked into a junior suite with a sea view and I was very disappointed to realize that you have to stand on a balcony on the side of the room to see the sea. Make sure you have a full sea view when booking. The restaurant is poor and we decided to eat out every night as there are wonderful restaurants on the doorstep. I think it is overpriced for what you get. Again, during our stay, don’t expect to get service at the pool – you will have to walk to reception as ask for someone to come and help.
Review 43:This hotel is beautiful. Attention to detail in all areas around the hotel – with a Moroccan feel to it. The staff is helpful, although we did not feel special in any way. The pool is amazing – nice and warm with stunning views. Our suite was beautifully decorated with a huge bathroom with two showerheads!
Review 44:Not a complaint but more of an observation: the hotel is rathersecluded, so a car is a must.
Review 45:Having stayed in three different five-star hotels over the past week, Ican confidently say that this one is outstanding. Our suite wasextremely comfortable and tastefully decorated, the staff were friendlyand competent, and it was obvious that considerable thought and carehave gone even in the tiniest of details. Unlike some other hotels, where glamorous and well-kept common areas give way to somewhatdisappointing rooms, this hotel keeps excellent standards everywhere.
Review 46:Very expensive for what you get. Rooms done up well but the service and the hotel is not worth that much money. Drinks very expensive and not that good! Also the town the hotel is set in has nothing to offer so you have to brave the crazy traffice in Cannes to do anything other than hang at the hotel
Review 47:Was a very relaxing hotel with a great restaurant. Staff tried but the service was a bit messy and just didnt live up to the 5 stars or the very high price. Great views from the hotel pool
Review 48:One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. It has a spectacular view from most rooms, restaurant and the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are good size, very nicely decorated and clean. Location is close to Cannes but you still need a car to get there.
Review 49:nothing
Review 50:Room decoration and size, restaurant, heated swimming pool, fantastic view from any place of the hotel, friendly staff, easy access, free wifi and parking, large quantity of sunbeds around and nearby pool
Review 51:Having to leave !!
Review 52:I can't fully describe the experience you have at this Hotel it is good. Probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in !!
Review 53:No recognition as loyal customer linked to staff turnover Breakfast was much better before, more choices in fruits,charcuterie,.... Service sometimes " hesitant"
Review 54:3 rd Time we stayed there be cause of the splendid location,Nice and confortable hotel accomodation
Review 55:Very nice small hotel, friendly staff, comfortable very tastefully decorated room and good wifi (important when on business). Strangely there is no bar, you can order drinks but there is only the reception area to sit in if it is raining outside.
Review 56:There was nothing we didn't like, I would say the food is average inthe restaurant but then we have been very spoilt with other meals on ourtrip of the French Rivera so had a lot to live up to
Review 57:Day beds are amazing and so relaxing!!
Review 58:Small, intimate, beautifully-appointed hotel with spectacular views! Exceptionally attentive staff, including the general manager who is often on site. Young and creative chef who concocts wonderful meals. Beautiful grounds with infinity pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean - you never have to leave!
Review 59:only small grouse was dining room rather cold, but as we had unusually bad weather it was cold with torrential rain, perhaps that wasn't really the fault of the hotel.
Review 60:The setting of the hotel is beautiful, overhanging a bay on the Med. The room whilst a bit on the small side ( we had a comfort double, room 30) was gorgeous, very unusual deco. The staff very courteous and helpful. We dined in the restaurant. and although the choices were fairly limited, we had a very nice meal. even though we were the only diners. We didn't try any of the facilities as (spa etc|) we only stayed one night, and unfortunately the weather was atrocious which spoiled the stay for us. We fully intend to return when the weather is good so we can really appreciate the beauty of this place.
Review 61:We felt the cost of eating in the hotel was rather expensive
Review 62:The room we had was very comfortable; all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful; we found the environment relaxing
Review 63:dinner & breakfast was a little bit on the expensive side, but good
Review 64:small relaxing hotel with a fantastic sea view, withouthout the madness of Canne, but close enough to drive in if you need, and only 35 min from the airport.
Review 65:The only thing I would say is the price of the breakfast. $29 Euro perperson is too much. Also, I would have preferred a bit more variety onthe lunch and dinner menus.
Review 66:Absolutely beautiful location and property. The staff were incrediblyattentive. Wonderful place that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Review 67:The instruction just to the right of hotel is loud and ongoingthroughout the day. It will persist for the entire year. Room 16 has anobstructed view due to a huge tree.
Review 68:Beautiful, modern and sirens hotel with breath taking views of theMediterranean. The restaurant was fantastic.
Review 69:Staff very nice but things seemed to be in a bit of a mess, we had towait after the nominated check-in time as someone was in a meeting whohad to check our room first. They need to get their act together and bea little more professional.
Review 70:Location
Review 71:Small boutique hotel of fantastic quality. A truly romantic setting. The staff were very good and attentive, the room was lovely and spotlessly clean. A very romantic and intimate hotel in a lovely setting.
Review 72:Excellent accueil. Excellent service.
Review 73:Not too impressed with the restaurant catering
Review 74:Very friendly and welcoming staff - both to us and to our two small dogs. Room service very good. Spacious and very comfortable room.
Review 75:It is a perfect hotel in a perfect location and the best thing about it is the staff. They are perfection
Review 76:room and bathroom size - smaller than I expected
Review 77:fantastic and discrete service excellent food really comfortable secluded...an oasis
Review 78:superb staff
Review 79:no twin beds
Review 80:Missing private access to see.
Review 81:Small and very comfortable hotel, quiet even in high season. Nicedinners.
Review 82:spectacular situation and views. excellent food delightful staff
Review 83:friendly service, warm pool (30 °C or more), amazing room with amazing view, good restaurant
Review 84:The staff excelent service Great view
Review 85:super
Review 86:The hotel, the location, the staff, the service........everything isoutstanding in Tiara Yaktsa. We will come back!!
Review 87:Lack of joined up thinking - e.g., a 24 hour room service menu but no service available after 10.30 p.m.
Review 88:Great views of the Med, faux-Moroccan style.
Review 89:great service.
Review 90:Welcoming personel, great service at pool side & day beds, beautifulrooms, magnificent view, perfect for a romantic weekend get away.
