Review 1：Bed slightly hard for most people.

Review 2：Superb location in the heart of Cognac. Very attentive staff arranging all necessary visits and reservations for restaurants. The hotel offered a tasting of XO cognacs, which we took due to staying only one night in the city.

Review 9：Situated in the very heart of Cognac with its own secure car park and spa facilities. The very friendly and helpful proprietor and staff made for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend the superb cocktails and cognac tasting by the incredibly knowledgable bar manager.

Check in was very poor as my reservation was not recognised and they would not allow us to take our car off the busy road into their parking until I was able to produce written evidence of our booking. 2. A non-functioning bedside light was reported shortly after our check-in but was not attended during our stay and we were not advised of the problem.

Review 26：They charged us 50 euros deposit per bathrobe and 30 euros deposit per pool towel and didn't want to give one to our eight year old son at all! Breakfast dull, overpriced and corporate. To be fair, I left a response on the hotel feedback form and later received a very nice email from a member of staff, apologising.

Review 31：The hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of Cognac with secure parking, although not free.Our room had a lovely view of the square but the shower was a bit of a nightmare, if you turned it on full it flooded the bathroom!! There is also a lack of plugs near mirrors but otherwise would stay again.

Perfectly renovated and staff was outstanding, with a special warm compliment to Emile who, on a very late arrival by car, accommodated us with a private parking space, as well did he make us taste some wonderful cognacs! Review 41：Our room was superb and faced the local 'square'. All staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful The cocktails were excellent. The little pool and steam room were fun. Though there is some free parking within a few hundred yards, but we decided to use the hotel parking after a long tiring drive.

Review 44：Hotel staff were wonderful. We were made to feel at home travelling with 3 kids (9, 6 and 6 months). As an example since the breakfast room is fairly small and we are a large family the staff always reserved a corner for us for breakfast. For the rest staff were always smiling and very helpful. I hope they stay motivated like this. The suite room we had was also very nice with high ceilings and plenty space.

Review 45：Hard to find a fault really. It would have been nice to have had a hand basin in the toilet rather than having to go back to the bathroom on the other side of the room to wash hands but that is hardly a complaint; more an observation.

Review 46：Location could not be faulted. Room was excellently appointed and even with the window open we did not notice any traffic noise. Quite a bonus as the hotel is on the main roundabout in centre town. Staff very helpful and polite with perfect English. Breakfast fresh and tasty; maybe a little pricey but you can easily have breakfast in the square if you wish. Did not use the Hamman or massage but a friend who did said it was the best massage she had ever had.
