Review 2：Friendly welcome; excellent, spotless, tastefully decorated, large room and bathroom with lovely towels, very comfortable bed. Great breakfast, brilliant swim in warm, heated outdoor pool. Large attractive grounds to stroll in with pigs, chickens and horses next door. We only needed a bed for a couple of nights, but staying at Wealden Hall made our trip. THOROUGHLY RECOMMENDED

Review 4：Location: Very close to Leeds Castle, located at the small town of Detling. They have their own small farm, garden, fish pond, and swimming pool. My son loved to see pigs and chickens, and run around the garden! Great place for small children. Surroundings (where I went): Leeds Castle (10 min drive), Whistable (30 min drive). Hotel room: Stayed @ Family Room, very clean, tidy and comfortable. Two single beds can be put together to make a double bed + they have sofa bed too. Very clean bathroom and I liked that shower and a bath tub is separate. Staff: One of the owners, Jacqui, was very kind and thoughtful about my family. She even offered us a welcome drink, which was very refreshing to me and my wife as we had long day with our children. Breakfast: The best English breakfast we've ever had. All of the ingredients (sausage, bacon, egg, bread, etc....) were from their own farm (apart from baked beans, the owner told me!) and they are just fantastic. I also tried 3 kinds of jams which was hand made by Jacqui and they were so good I wanted to buy them!

Review 5：The owners were excellent and very friendly. The location is supurb - small village (with local pub) but only 5 minutes from Maidstone and less than 10 minutes from Leeds Castle

Review 9：We absolutely loved our stay at Wealden Hall. The owners are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The offer of tea and home made malt loaf were very welcome after our long journey and our days out in Kent. The bedroom was very well appointed and the bathroom could only be described as luxury. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. In short, nothing was too much trouble and every little detail had been thought of. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Wealden Hall and hope to go back there ourselves one day. Thank you, Jacqui and John.

Review 11：We were welcomed with a lovely cup of tea and delicious chocolate cake, the owners were very friendly and welcoming from the first minute. Our bedroom was extremely clean, large with beautiful bathroom and décor very good throughout. Our breakfast order was taken the night before and at a time that suited us. That morning the wife was ill and the owners showed real concern and altered the wife's request to just toast but I kept with my order and I do have to say it was the best Breakfast I have had at any of the hotels or bed and breakfasts we have stayed at over the last 7 years, the bacon must have the tastiest that I have ever had plus the sausage was also superb and the fresh poached eggs were delicious. The views from the room was superb and its setting is idyllic and the local information given to use was so useful. If your looking in this area I can guarantee you will not find a more welcoming couple and feel at home experience

Review 15：Close to the Kent Showground, this B & B was ideal. A beautiful home with a nice atmosphere. Bedroom was large and the bathroom exceptional. A good, tasty well cooked breakfast.

Review 46：The room was brilliant, we had a family room so had a sofa and tv which made it really feel like home. When we arrived Jacqui made us a cup of tea and made us feel very welcome. The bathroom looked newly decorated with a lovely big bath, shower and heated towel rail with the softest towels I've ever felt, truly luxurious! The breakfast was delicious, you could taste the quality of the home grown bacon and sausages, the freshly squeezed orange juice (although not squeezed by them) was delicious and the coffee was yummy too. Great stay!

Review 47：The price was enough at £90 for a family room which was a compact twin bedded room for 2 adults with a child (on a sofa bed) but in the morning we were given a £10 supplement as well!!!!!

Review 48：The location was excellent as a resting point to within 1/2 hour travel via M20 to Folkestone. It also had a very good local pub with nice food that you could walk to.

Review 49：We have just spent a couple of days in this lovely B & B. We were met by Jacqui (the owner/manager) and offered tea and delicious cake. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern and fantastic (I really loved the shower!). We really enjoyed our breakfast and appreciated the fact that a lot of the food was home produced. The family were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and give advice as where to go in the area as we were very new to it. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone - just superb!

Review 52：Lovely home with very large room and huge luxury en-suite bathroom. Probably the nicest bathroom I have ever been in! Owners were very friendly and welcoming, particularly with our young (2 year old) daughter, who adored all the animals! Breakfast was lovely and even my husband's large appetite was satisfied.

Review 55：This was our second visit (unfortunately both one night only to attend funerals in the area), however, we could not fault the hospitality, welcome and wonderful breakfast. My wife is a Coeliac and Jacqui made bread for me and a plate of macarroons on arrival with a welcoming cup of tea. No effort is spared to ensure a relaxing stay. Good pub food in the village for the evening supper. All round a totally relaxing overnight stay!
