Review 8：They say that there is Customer Parking but the car park had room for three cars, and the only space left when we arrived was partly filled with flower pots and would not accommodate our vehicle. When asked about this the proprietor waved at the street and said "Your car will be perfectly safe there". That transpired to be true, but the statement that there was customer parking was only partly true. "Some customer parking" would be more accurate. We were not given sufficient information to access the internet readily. It took the self-admitted electronically illiterate landlady a long time to sort out the problem. We have family in New Zealand, Mexico and Japan and it was New Year. Access was very important to us.
Review 9：The location is good for visits to the town, the view from the front of the house is pleasing and the staff seem to try hard to make the client happy.
Review 10：I arrived soaked from a run in dreadful weather, ahead of usual check in time, and was warmly welcomed in and my clothes taken for drying, and well looked after. The guest house is very well placed in Moffat too.

Review 27：I was met at the door by the owner and shown to a better room than I had booked as she was not too busy that night. She was very friendly and approachable. She recommended a lovely place for me to have my evening meal and my breakfast was cooked just as I liked it. It was a very welcoming home from home.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, lovely hosts and staff, great breakfast and an easy short walk into Moffat which is a lovely town. We stayed on our way up to the Hebrides and again on our way home because we enjoyed our stay so much. Next time I shall stay for a few days and really relax and enjoy the hotel as well as Moffat.

The location is spectacular with wonderful views and a short walk into Moffatt High Street. Moffatt is charming nestled amongst the beautiful hills with a lovely slow pace of life. I would certainly recommend the Rockhill.
