Review 1：The courtyard room where we stayed was for 4 people but cramped even for 2. Toilet door in the room was right next to the head end of the bed! Room needed refurbishing and smelled of cheap cleaning products. Towels were rough and old. In the summer the courtyard would be full of smokers which would be very unpleasant if you are a non-smoker staying in one of the rooms off the courtyard.

Review 27：Set in the centre of town within minutes of the main street and old town, this hotel has friendly English speaking staff, and although the rooms are a little small, it is very clean, comfortable, and the facilities are good. The back courtyard is an ideal place to sit and relax and feel miles away from the bustle of the town. There is parking in the courtyard but we found a space on the road without difficulty, Having the post office and a supermarket opposite was also very handy. A very pleasant and comfortable stay, and definitely recommended.

Review 29：To be able to have a family room, very kid friendly. Super rainforest shower and nice organic shower gel! Liked to be able to park the car in an enclosed space without having to unload it or worry about for a little fee, hotel located right in the center of Cognac and lot of things accessible by foot. Rooms are basic but very clean and with comfortable beds.

It's a smaller hotel, located in the centre of Cognac at walking distance from what you need to see, eat and drink, it's clean, it offers basic but correct comfort, there's (limited) parking space inside, the breakfast buffet offers more than what you can eat, but after all it's on the expensive side for what you get.

Review 32：we thought this hotel was very good value for money. It gives the impression of a 'motel', with self-contained units over 2 levels, all overlooking a courtyard. The room was adequate, though a little small and lacking in natural light, but the air con was very welcome. There is parking for only 4 cars so if you want a space you have to book in advance (contrary to what it says on this website), though there's also plenty of free parking in the nearby streets. Based on other reviews we didn't book breakfast and was pleased - it looked rather meagre and there's a supermarket directly opposite that sells fresh bread and pastries. All in all, good value, we would certainly stay here again.
