Review 1：Great people who own it, and quiet location even though it is so close to the center of Fira. Supermarket is close by and shopping within 5 to 10 minute walk.

Review 2：The hotel staff is very welcoming, friendly and patient. Clean. Everything is very close to hotel (centre of Fira, bus stop next to hotel, bakery and supermarket). Very nice swimming pool. You feel, you are very welcome. Nice price.

Review 4：The staff were great. We arrived in the middle of the night, and despite waking the stuff up, they were very gentle. The following morning, they offered us help with the local transport and gave us coffee and a little breakfast for free, out of kindness. We were very grateful!

Review 7：The location is good as it is close the Fira, but very noisy being close to a main road when we were on the patio. It is quiet inside however which us what matters. The AC worked well and but wifi only works outside on the patio. The staff were accommodating and let us store our bags and then check in early. They were very nice and friendly. Being as it was in a descent location, you pay more for what it is. If you go a bit further away you can find newer and more hotels for the same cost. The pool was very nice. Karterados is a nice place to stay.

Review 8：When I arrived there was a very loud screaming fight between the staff and another customer - no one acknowledged me for the 30 minutes that I stood there not a smile not a "please wait" nothing, I had to go up to someone and ask to check-in Staff were not prepared for my check-in for the first 45 minutes after I checked in I had a man changing my door lock and another man come in to screw in my safe box - all things that should have been done before I arrived The elderly lady that works there yelled all day and until about midnight each night and I could hear clearly from my room Staff could not speak a work of English which made everything very difficult The power turns off when you leave the room - which is normal but this also included the fridge so all of the food I bought went bad

Review 10：Breakfast was not great - no choice and I was given bread and biscuits which I don't eat. No fruit or yoghurt. I would have preferred a choice of what I could have eaten. Healthier options. Perhaps a small table with some fruit, yoghurt and fresh bread including brown bread. There is a bakery a few doors down where they could et fresh bread from. I bought breakfast out unfortunately so didn't get the value for money and the room was quite expensive considering I was staying in it alone.

Review 12：When we arrived at the hotel it was closed (in the early afternoon), two people greeted us who spoke broken English told us we couldn't have our room but to hope in the car to go somewhere else. The relocation was very nice however, but was further away. It was all quite suspect.

Review 14：It was nothing that it appeared to be online. No wifi with theexception of the first day. When I tried to relay that that the wifiseemed to require a different password, that is from the front deskwhere the signal appeared for a few short moments. Because no one spokemy languages, they called someone and gave me the phone. She said thatthey would fix it tomorrow - that never happened. It was nearlyimpossible to communicate if you did not speak Greek. I arrived late inthe evening the first night, exhausted from all of my previous travelup to that point. I also have a medical condition that requires me torest as my body fatigues. Upon my arrival, the first room I was shownwas on the ground floor, with no view whatsoever, and 2 small beds -the exact opposite from what I requested (a room not on the groundfloor, a view of the ocean, and one large bed. They finally showed me aroom that at least was not on the ground floor. The room was gross:just not clean, beds were hard as rocks, sheets were not remotely soft,feeling more like paper than any cotton or cloth like material. Thebathroom was a toilet, a small square with no curtains or doorssurrounding it was the shower which flooded the bathroom when used andsoaked everything including the toilet paper and towels that were meantto dry you. I got home late after walking down the 2 lane highway (partof which had no sidewalks) in order to get to Fira, which was a solid15 min walk to get to the bus station, just below fira. Because I wasshown many rooms, I must have gotten confused as to which was mine, andI accidentally (by putting my key into the lock) opened anotherguest's room, while they were in the shower nonetheless!!Horrified, I bought more secure locks and had to lock my luggage (andnot unpack for the whole week) for the entire time I spent there. I waswoken up first thing in the morning to the screams coming from of theelderly lady screaming and pounding on my door.

Review 16：this hotel doesn't accept credit cards only cash ! make much noise for outside no soundproofing in the rooms because the building is old
