Reviews for Premier Inn Wrexham North (A483)

Review 1:There was no dressing gowns or hair conditioner or soap for hands

Review 2:There was a lady when I checked in was Lynne she was so good I felt as if I was going to a Hilton hotel her customer service was brilliant and her approach to use was good

Review 3:The way the bills is set out is very confusing. I have been assured that the print out is not the amount I will be debited. The staff were very helpful and even gave me a direct number in case there is a problem.

Review 4:Everything from the moment we checked in. The staff were very friendly and had a good knowledge of the area we wanted to visit. Excellent team.

Review 5:location - close to Chester - 15 min drive to everything - zoo - aquarium - centre comfortable - great nights sleep not cramped - big enough for 2 adults, 1 6 year old and a cot for a 2yr old.

Review 6:It was unfortunate that building works were in progress. I was awakened by the noise at 8am each day and feel we should have been forewarned.

Review 7:I have stayed here for many years as it gives easy access to Chester and to the Dee valley from a (normally) quiet rural setting.

Review 8:The room was either too hot and then gets cold. Even though the bed is comfortable due to the changing room temperature we didn't get a full nights rest. Also there was a strange smell in the room and from the bathroom. We arrived very late so didn't report it. As a family room I/kids would have liked some hot chocolate.

Review 9:The beds were comfortable. Free WiFi as other hotels you would have to pay.

Review 10:Shampoo and shower gel was very watery. Suggest bring your own toiletries.

Review 11:Large, comfortable bed. Also although close to major road routes, was quiet. No shortage of parking spaces. Cooked breakfast was sumptuous and serrved quickly. Good range of continental breakfast as well. Friendly staff. Table table restaurant had good selection of food.

Review 12:The room was a little bit on the cool side.

Review 13:Just being able to come and go any time of the day. Superb breakfast and food at the Beaches. Very good soundproofing. Would never have known football was being played outside.

Review 14:BED FELT LIKE YOU WERE GOING TO FALL OUT OF IT NOISE OUTSIDE - BACK ROOMS LOOM ONTO WREXHAM FOOTBALL TRAINING GROUNDS WHICH WAS VERY LOUD - YOU SHOULD BE MADE WARE OF THIS!!! ALSO BUILDING WORK COMMENCED WELL BEFORE 8AM AND THEREFORE WELL BEFORE WE WERE ADVISED IT WOULD AT TIME OF BOOKING

Review 15:STAFF WERE LOVELY ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN TABLE TABLE VERY CLOSE

Review 16:No complaints. Just what we needed.

Review 17:Very obliging and helpful staff. Beautifully clean facilities. Comfy bed and soft towels. Convenient for family we were visiting. Lovely breakfast at the Table Table restaurant next door .

Review 18:Nothing

Review 19:The room had plenty of space considering there was 4 of us in there. It was handy having the pub/ restaraunts close by and also the price was very competitive .

Review 20:I can't think of anything I did not like.

Review 21:excellent location, clean fresh smell throughout the hotel..Staff friendly and helpful 24 hour reception though not needed was reassuring.Pay and ride into Chester was nearby.

Review 22:Once again by booking through booking.com we got disabled room. Were advised by reception this is normal. Disappointed as 2nd time this had happened and you a're always close to noisy reception area. Might be wary of using booking. Com if this continues.

Review 23:Staff incredibly helpful. Room comfortable and very clean.

Review 24:The lack of wheelchair accessible wet room even though the room had been specified as accessible.

Review 25:The food at the accompanying restaurant was very pleasant

Review 26:We booked a nights stay as we were going to a Family party only 10 mins away. Found the reception staff very helpful and our room was very clean with everything we needed for a comfy nights stay. We had a meal in the afternoon over in the pub fast service good menu good price and great welcome from staff. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice again nice friendly staff, well done to you all

Review 27:The check in person did not know what time check out was and could not tell us if breakfast was included. He did not know how to find out or didn't try to find out. At some point we were talking at normal volume in our room and received a knock at the door asking us to keep the noise down. This made us feel very self conscious and we couldn't understand why it was deemed we were disturbing other guests. It wasn't nice.

Review 28:Quick

Review 29:The breakfast arangments were not a match on the Brewers Fayre which normally is attached to Premier Inns. Cooked had to be individually ordered, and therefore took longer. We prefer help yourself service as this allows you to adjust what you have at point of service and no waste.

Review 30:Location was good and close to the wedding we were attending. Despite being near to A483, there was no road noise and we had a good nights sleep.

Review 31:receptionist efficient friendly Room with fan during hot weather explained no air conditioning but apology & explained made as comfortable as possible. Good nights sleep

Review 32:Bed was too hard - we did not realise we could have had a topper till after we'd suffered during the night! It was expensive compared with other (better) Premier Inns. The associated restaurant was very poor - bland food and so-so service.

Review 33:Good location and room. Kettle for coffee in room

Review 34:The bar was totally geared to eating with little emphasis on meeting and relaxing. I think all bars should have bar stools and restaurant and bar areas divided completely

Review 35:The welcome was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and the hotel location was excellent

Review 36:Breakfast in the adjacent restaurant is good value at £8.95 per person, especially with children eating free of charge, but the scrambled egg was dry, rubbery and truly inedible.

Review 37:Clean room and very helpful, friendly staff. Convenient and lower cost location for the centre of Chester and Chester Zoo.

Review 38:Simple check in, polite and very helpful staff, newly refurbished rooms.

Review 39:value for money and good food

Review 40:Only having one hand towel - but lovely large towel each for showering!!

Review 41:Modern, fresh and spacious

Review 98:No lift

Review 99:Large room, comfy bed, clean bathroom.

Review 100:Nothing.

Review 101:Extremely clean, good location and all staff were very friendly.

Review 102:Friendly staff, beautiful accommodation - peaceful and quiet. Food in adjacent restaurant tasty and reasonably priced

Review 103:Friendly staff and excellent all round facilities.

Review 104:The beeches restaurant didnt have much variety on food. And the food we did have wasnt very nice. Luckily we found another pub down the road which was much better.. The coke was very diluted and had no taste but what do you expect when you get free refills?? I wouldnt stay in a premier inn again i much prefered the holiday inn. The premier inn seems more suited for business people than families or couples

Review 105:The beds were comfy

Review 106:The "Table Table" restaurant was very dated, but we understand refurbishment is taking place. When we arrived for breakfast the floor of the restaurant was still littered with items from the previous night. Given that the restaurant/bar closed at 23:00, one would have thought that, as the restaurant was open for breakfast the next morning, that the cleaners would have been "active" - a bit of a let-down for what could have been a perfect experience.

Review 107:A very good value-for-money hotel, which is exactly as advertised, both on site and on TV ads. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, both continental and full, was excellent.

Review 108:The room was cold temperature set at 18.5. We increased the temp to 21 but it took a long time to reach it. Relatives in another room had to ask for another heater. Did not live up to advert. There was no internet signal available while we were there!

Review 109:we have a child age 1 it was the perfect room on ground floor . staff very pleasant and the grounds were very clean loved the sheep outside would stay here again thankyou

Review 110:soap dispensers in the bathroom . would have preferred small sachets

Review 111:The breakfast choice was very good especially the freshly cooked berakfast. The room was very comfortable

Review 112:paying different rates every day, i would have expected some discount for a 28 night stay.

Review 113:Staff were very helpful and friendly both in the Premier Inn and the Beeches.

Review 114:No heating in room as it was broke.reception gave me another duvet.in the middle of night and morning it was very cold.this is not good enough for disabled people who are wheelchair bound as u can't walk about to try to keep warm dissapointed

Review 115:Location

Review 116:It was warm and the room wasn't air conditioned but it had a window that could be opened.

Review 117:The staff were very accommodating and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble; they even gave my daughter a birthday card. The beds were comfortable and they do try to get you a good night's sleep as promised on the adverts.

Review 118:nothing to dis-like

Review 119:Friendly staff, large car park and very good restaurant alongside. Accomodation included a free breakfast where you could eat and drink as much as you wanted and this was of good quality.

Review 120:Our room overlooked a car park, in fact there was a parking space right outside the window, meaning we had to keep the curtains drawn for any privacy. This was not ideal in the middle of July!

Review 121:The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast service was excellent. Our room was spacious and we had a sofa/chaise rather than a standard issue hotel tub chair, this was much more pleasant.

Review 122:Not too impressed with the tea at breakfast as the water in the urn is just not hot enough. Needed 2 goes round the toaster to get the bread to brown! Unfortunately some guests didn't read the notices or listen to the lady on reception warning them not to leave the bathroom door open when showering. So we were woken at 7 am and again about half an hour later by brief bursts of the fire alarm. This is not the hotel's fault, this is just a plea to future guests not to do it....

Review 123:Comfortable, good-sized double room, clean and smart. Ensuite very good and bed was very comfortable. Staff helpful, friendly and pleasant. Would certainly consider staying there again if in the area.

Review 124:The mattress was hard as a rock and the room was so hot (measured in at 27-28 degrees despite the fan in the room!!) so we didn't sleep very well unfortunately :(

Review 125:Liked the location and the food was really good at the hotel also. The staff were friendly and helpful
