Reviews for Hôtel De Paris

Review 1:the first room had a stinking (really stinking!) shower, in the room we've received after complaining the carpet was pretty stained and the TV did not work, hammam was not available

Review 2:Location in the center, friendly staff, comfy bed, sauna and jacuzzi were nice, but 10 EUR/hour

Review 3:Perhaps a minibar would be a good idea?

Review 4:The staff was lovely at this gorgeous boutique hotel located right in the center of town. Gorgeous, luxurios big room, bed and bathroom. We had an excellent stay.

Review 5:I was first put in a room that had horribly stained carpets - it looked like bleach had been dumped on them in a path from the door, through the room, and into the bathroom. The shower also did not work. The staff moved me the next day to a much nicer room. However, the first room was not in a condition to be let to guests and it's shocking that I was placed in it. The coffee maker sprayed me with hot milk (the milk shot out sideways instead of down) one morning.

Review 6:The staff were friendly. The second room I was placed in was clean and nicely decorated.

Review 7:The first room was very small, dark, metal furniture (design?), no storage area; the 2nd room was the same, but fortunately with some storage area. The first afternoon, when we came back, we find the room as we have left it. We were leaving at about 11 am, so the explained us, that when they pass by to clean the room and it is still occupied, they won't come back a second time.

Review 8:One of the girls was very friendly and made ist possible to change the room. Big garage next door. Wifi ok.

Review 9:Convenient location for exploring Sete with plenty of restaurants close by Good breakfast and worth the extra 10 euros. Guest parking (extra fee) though difficult access up steep slope and tight spaces for a large car. Good free wi-fi that stays connected. Nice bar at the hotel with occasional live jazz evenings.

Review 10:poor wifi, door missing from shower cubicle, Shabby, coffee at Breakfast from machine not hot, TV did not work, Room was large but painted a garish lime green

Review 11:very original boutique hotel, good for restaurants

Review 12:We supposedly had a superior room but it was very small with no view and at the end of 4 corridors.

Review 13:Excellent location in heart of town. Good secure parking.

Review 14:carpet dirty, some lights not working, room extremely dark at all time, colour scheme not professional, no shower cream or shampoo had to request and then waited 10 mins for a delviery

Review 15:close to all amenities

Review 16:The walls were 'very thin' the room was much darker than expected, and the bed was very narrow for two people

Review 17:Nice location and The staff was very friendly

Review 18:A receptionist called Michael, he couldn't not do enough to make sure you had a pleasant visit.

Review 19:This is feelgood hotel with art and beauty everywhere.

Review 20:Wifi didn't work in our junior suite. Had to sit in reception to use wifi.

Review 21:Good location and nice bar

Review 22:Unable to get room safe to work and carpet damaged with plaster dust, needed replacement.

Review 23:Good atmosphere, welcoming bar and friendly staff

Review 24:no place to put anything, poor maid service, poor room maintaince,

Review 25:friendly staff, great location, reliable internet, very nice bed

Review 26:House keeping not very professional.

Review 27:Good location and decoration.

Review 28:The friendliness of all the staff was excellent. The locatlocation the the centre of Sete (not the beach) Stylish decor

Review 29:Parking. Downtown Sete is antique , and so the parking and traffic confusing for the tourist.

Review 30:Surprised by how playful and arty this hotel is.

Review 31:good location, nice bar!

Review 32:Returning to an old favourite from many years ago. Great location, clean and comfortable. Good vfm.

Review 33:cleanliness, or lack of it, noise, breakfast practically non existent (so much so that the last day of our stay they did not charge it), etc...

Review 34:location

Review 35:Elevator did not work for 3 of the days we were there. On the only day we used it it broke down between floors. We were trapped & had difficulty getting help. Junior suite? Only 1 wooden chair, no glasses not even in the bathroom, shower water flow meagre.

Review 36:Position great. Loriane on reception was very good. Decor interesting!

Review 37:The room was ugly, unfriendly and certainly made us feel like if we were in a burdel (literaly all bright red with huge 3D lips sticked in the wall). Sete is not recommended at all to stay. There is no beach in town and the shoreline is quite unglamourous.

Review 38:Seafood around the area was the best although you need to search a bit to find something good. However, there was a fantastic beach and restaurant nearby (15km away) in a place called Promenade du Lido.

Review 39:No working a/c. No working Internet in rooms, ok in small lobby. Poor shower and amenities. Hotel is really a marginal two star in a great location.

Review 40:Great location.

Review 41:Common parts of the hotel very dark, black carpet with dim lighting, Lighting in room dim, but could be classed as romantic!

Review 42:Bathroom, restaurant, cafe,

Review 43:The black room is possibly a little too dark.

Review 44:Very convenient location, very friendly and helpful staff, modern decor, very clean. I would stay again.

Review 45:Room was too hot and not able to reduce the temperature.

Review 46:Definitely a 3 star, but in a very good location . We found that the lighting in the room was not very good .

Review 47:Decor Value Comfortable stylish room

Review 48:Only one of us could use the Wifi at a time

Review 49:Location is fantastic Quirky room decor

Review 50:Dark Décor dated and 'odd'.

Review 51:Friendly staff Location good

Review 52:The room and location was great.

Review 53:The decor was avant garde!

Review 54:The bed was very comfortable!

Review 55:No parking available

Review 56:Centrally located
