Review 1：could do with a makeover and less decor, ie, the birdcages etc but this did not in any way spoil our stay

Review 4：I was very impressed by the large room, which overlooked the lake. There was a spacious balcony with deckchairs and parasol and the seating area in the bedroom had a very comfortable settee and armchair. All the staff were helpful and friendly , especially the lady who cleaned our room on the 2nd floor. Even though she spoke only German and I only had a very little German, we managed to communicate. The buffet breakfast contained a very good selection of cereals, bread rolls, meats, fruits, juices and spreads and it was possible to order fried or scrambled eggs. The hotel had a very homely feel to it and I felt very relaxed after my stay. I would certainly return there in the future and would recommend it to my friends.

Review 6：Relaxing atmosphere, excellent view of lake and surrounding mountains, great food, helpful staff. We also loved the way the staff arranged the duvet, pillows etc into patterns!

Review 7：Wifi was horrible and there is no air conditioning in the whole hotel. There was a heat wave the time we visited and with 2 children aged 10 months and 11 years it was difficult.. they didnt even have fans to supply... also they had no crib for the baby

Review 9：No proper shower, no pool or sun loungers to relax. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No air conditioning. Star rating too high due to lack of facilities.

Review 11：I killed a bug on the pillow in the morning and the cleaning staff simply turned the pillow over instead of changing the pillow sheet. Also, the balcony door did not have a screen to keep bugs out. If you keep the balcony door closed its too hot to sleep and if you open it bugs come in so you have to deal with the bugs.

Review 12：The location is perfect and so was the breakfast. The view from the lake side rooms is simply stunning in every regard. The staff are polite and accomodating, the breakfast was always fresh and simple. The location of the hotel is very close to the center of St. Wolfgang and there are parkings available close by.

Review 13：Breakfast was disappointing: limited choice, cheese & meat not cooled and presence of flies & wasps on food. Rather indifferent staff. Bread was several days old.

Review 16：Views were insurpassable on a sunny day! We had the sun all week - if a little too hot & humid [no a/c]. Room was good size furnished in traditional style. The food was good but a bit fancy for us which limited our choices so we chose to eat out at some of the village restaurants.

Review 19：Excellent location and settings. The receptionist was very nice and upgraded our room to a suite which was very comfortable and the view was great. The breakfast was also very good. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Review 20：The room was large and very pretty, in perfect repair and had a balcony that looked across the lake to the mountains. St. Wolfgang is a very pretty town but is tiny but oh so charming.

Review 23：St Wolfgang is a beautiful town by the perfect lake. The hotel is excellent and our room, with its views over the lake was stunning. The weather was perfect too.

Review 26：There were no toiletries provided only harsh detergent-type handwash and similar in shower. Breakfast was poor: flavorless fruit salad and cheap and nasty jams. Wifi was only available in the lobby but the signal was so poor that every time someone hopped on the ageing computer, connection was lost. When I mentioned problems with connection dropping out, I was told this hadn't been a problem previously, but a glance at the reviews here and elsewhere indicate otherwise.The hotel information booklet said that wifi wasn't provided in the room as they wanted guests to enjoy sleep uninterrupted by wifi rays (or words to that effect) - isn't this the 21st century - patronising and utterly ridiculous.

Review 59：Our stay in Hotel Peter was absolutely perfect in every way. Beautiful hotel in fabulous location, delicious food and exemplary staff-helpful, friendly people. We had stayed in several hotels in Austria, some 5 star, but this one was outstanding and our favourite. We look forward to returning and will be recommending Hotel Peter to our family and friends.

Review 60：We had asked for a light to be fixed in the room as it was flicking on and off, they said they would send someone up to replace either that night or the next morning. We didn't see anyone and the light continued to flick for the duration of the stay. A minor issue but annoying none the less.

Review 61：The location was unbeatable. Beautiful views from the room overlooking the lake with snow capped mountains in the background. The most peaceful scerene place! We went to the restaurant both evenings and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The staff were also very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with them. We were also really happy with the breakfast included, a nice spread with lots of variety.

Review 65：We were made welcome straightaway and so felt 'at home' during our three night stay. The food was traditional with good choice and the room was spacious and clean. The local trips were not taxing so ideal during a relaxing stay.

Review 66：We had the suite, as in photo 3. We had not realised there were 13 steps up from the highest floor served by the lift - this was a problem for my wife with walking difficulties. A couple of times (in a week) there was some difficulty parking, although we got in eventually.

Staff were helpful and friendly - personal introductions in welcome booklet were a nice touch. Excellent food from the restaurant, with locally caught fish, and good selection for breakfast. Impressed to see cleaner wiping down the balcony of the neighbouring room. So often these points can be missed. Good-sized room, and we were pleased to have a bath. Complimentary bottle of water in the room was most welcome. Even provided an umbrella and swimming towels.
