Review 2：It was our third visit to Babis Hotel. All the hotel staff, who are also a family, are amazing people. They are very friendly and caring persons. Our stay there was fantastic. Everything was perfect.

Review 5：Old and tired hotel..musty smell overall..and sewage smell in bathroom. Father who drives shuttle is nervous and easily agitated. Younger couple was helpful..good price..but you get what you pay for.

Review 14：The staff was very friendly. I wish the pool was open later. I loved the ride to and from the port also to Fira every hour. My room was quite large for just one person but that is ok. The air conditioning worked with a little work but once I figured it out I was good for the 3 nights I was there.

Review 15：Due to our boat being very late and not arriving until 1 am in the morning our pick up arrangements were not able to be honoured and we arrived at the Hotel to find nobody there to book us in. A note or a room key left out would have been helpful.

Review 35：The staff were more than excellent, they dropped us at the airport at 2am for free and let us use all the facilities in the hotel (swimming pool and showers) for the whole day after the checkout, they even let us sleep in the hotel lobby for a couple of hours before going to the airport. Review 36：Everything was perfect, specially the staff. Babis and his father are special and kind. We are sure that the way treated us made our trip even better. The hotel is very close to Fira, about 12-15 minutes walk. The bus stop to any beach is in front of the hotel. Very clean and organized.

Babis runs a shuttle service into Thira each hour and it is an easy walk home. Well located to bus services to the beaches on the island. Good pool area. But the best thing is the helpfulness and friendliness of the proprietors that makes your stay at Babis memorable.

Review 46：My friend and me took a diffrent flight to Santorini. So the hotel picked us twice at the airport for free. We just stayed there for 1 night since during this busy time, it is hard to book a hotel for consecutive days. So the next day we have to change to aother hotel which is also in this village. The kind grandpa who is actually the driver although can't speak too much English, he still helped us and also gave us a lift to the next hotel. Love you, grandpa! It was really a suprise to us. It was really a good memory there and I really wished i could stay more days there if possible. Anyway, I would like to choose this hotel again next time.

This is a fantastic hotel- no need to look anywhere else!

Review 59：The bed wasn't all that comfortable, quite hard.. But in saying that, some of our beds at more expensive hotels in Greece felt the same and for the price you can't really complain. The wifi didn't work in our room only in reception area. We didn't make breakfast so can't comment on that.

Review 60：Such a great place to stay for the price! We arrived at 1230am and we were picked up from the airport and also dropped into Fira town the following day. The room was huge and everything was clean and in working order. There was a kitchen and fridge which would have been great if we were staying longer. Review 67：We spent 3 nights at Hotel Babis. The hosts were Incredibly generous, friendly and lots of fun. We were welcomed at the Port on arrival and taken back to our hotel for a cold drink at check in. Located in a central part of Santorini if relying on public transport. Our hosts were always available to assist and recommended some great places to eat. They helped us get a motorbike which the company dropped off and picked up from the hotel. To top off our fantastic stay the owner drove us to the airport for our early morning flight. I would recommend Hotel Babis to anyone visiting Santorini and will be sure to return!

Review 81：Quite far walk for a tired traveller (20 mins) from the activity areas and bus station but they offer a free shuttle whenever you're going to Fira upon request, or every hour depending on the guests. When you return to the hotel you have to take a long stroll or take a transportation.

Review 86：It just was not for us. Room was small and cramped. We really did not want yet another wet room with only a shower attachment and no bracket to hang it on. Shower curtain stopped about a foot short of tray. Our balcony overlooked wasteland and the noise of the traffic from the main road was horrific. Review 89：The hotel owner Mr Babis is a very friendly and helpful man. He offers free pickup upon arrival and departure at Athinios port even at 1.00 am. He also offers free horly trip to Fira town every morning.He will answer everything about santorini. Hotel room is clean and serviced everyday. Breakfast is good though the same everyday. Supermarket and bus stop are nearby. 100 % recommendation for the budget travellers.

Review 90：My arrival and departure were bit chaotic, as they double booked my room and therefore I had to stay one night in the hotel next door. I couldn't coordinate in a proper way my transfer to the port on my check out date. I wouldn't have minded any of these issues, but I didn't feel comfortable by listening to some arguments in Greek, in a volume I'm not used to it. The rest of the time, the team was VERY nice though. The wifi only works in the reception area. I had to make an international call to request the shuttle service from the airport, as no email is provided!

On top of this once we arrived after Babis picking us up fr airport we were greeted with a drink and as our boat was early in morning they even prepared continental breakfast half hour earlier than they are supposed to start breakfast. These little things go a long way for my wife and I. We would not hesitate in staying at Babis hotel again.

Review 101：please remember to stay in a room far away from the stairs and the entrance, people may arrive in middle of night, very loud. I also hear other people having sex, adjusting their air-conditioning, flushing their toilet, and breakfast being prepared (I was in the room behind the kitchen).

Review 103：I loved everything about Babis hotel it is a very welcoming family run hotel. They also provide shuttle service to and from Thira airport which was made life a lot easier. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a refreshing glass of orange juice and get a feel of the hotel that makes you feel just like at home. Babis and his family always makes sure you are okay and always assist with anything you need or have questions to. The location is perfect about a 10 min walk from Thira but they provide a car service every hour and drop their hotel residents off to Thira, a bus stop is literally outside the hotel that takes you to some to the main tourist attractions and beaches, the pool at the hotel was also great and always cleaned, rooms were very comfortable and always cleaned every morning, breakfast was lovely prepared toasted breads with yoghurt and more. I would defiantly reccomend this hotel and stay again if I were to return!

Review 109：The hotel is right on the road which is the main road out of Thira to the airport so it was very busy. We were given a lift into town in the evening and told it was a 10 min walk home. We considered a taxi but there was clearly a very long queue and as we thought it was only 10 mins we set off. But it was more like 20 and it was a bit scary with two young children! Still alot of traffic and not always pavement even at 11 at night. We had a bit of time to kill before our flight the next morning and although the children enjoyed the pool it was not at all relaxing due to the traffic on the road. If you turned up here for your whole holiday you would be very disappointed.

Review 110：The owners were very friendly and transferred us to the airport free of charge (they would also have met us from the ferry but we didn't know this which was a shame as we paid for a taxi!) The room was large - in fact we were given a one bed apartment when we only booked a famly room. The sheets and towels were very clean and the room was clean and the shower the best we'd had all holiday - hot and powerful.
