Review 6：Perfect for someone who likes a warm bedroom,afraid I don't.Elderly people in property at the back sit in garden at all hours day and night smoking and coughing.Nothing the bnb owners can do about that but it does keep you awake.
Review 7：Good breakfast.Main shopping centre two minutes walk away.Beach five minutes walk,lots of amusements under cover if weather is bad.Good bus service in town so went to Walton on the Naze.

Review 14：Friendly welcome. Flexible over breakfast - they made me some delicious fried bread that was not on the menu. Remembered our first names. The shower was very good. They have made the front of the hotel very pretty and welcoming.
Review 15：Owners Velda and Gerry friendly and helpful. Initial room allocation was not appropriate to our needs, out of anyone's control as the noise disturbance was coming through from another building across. Room changed next morning, much more comfortable. A big thank you to Velda for her kindness following spillage in the room.

Review 22：I have to say I didn't like much of the breakfast, I am pretty sure their mushrooms were canned and could have been fresh. There was roadworks on first night of me and my partner staying, I think would have been nice to have been told prior to me booking. Overall the stay was 7/10.

Review 27：Had room number 3. Had a lovely armchair and foot stool in it. Stayed with my 10 year old and we both agreed our beds were really comfortable. More lika a family room than a twin and was good value for money.
Review 28：Its hard to be critical of a very small B&B out of season but I would think the following would be positive feedback:- 1. Our room (5) was really small and there was really no need for an armchair to be taking up valuable space. The space was claustrophobic. 2. The TV was miniscule no bigger than say 13 inches which meant it was useless to see from the bed. Cheap Tvs really detract from a feeling of quality. 3. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. 4. The radiator in a tiny room blasted away all night making the room far too hot to sleep. There was no way the temp could be regulated by a guest. 5. The window in the bathroom should be frosted glass, and the window handle was broken. 6. Breakfast included tinned ( not fresh) mushrooms. 7. Free standing old - fashioned wardrobes are reminiscent of the 70's. 8. My partner thought the landings looked like too many rooms had been made, all with old fashioned doors with yale locks, like a hall of residence or a Hostel for working men. 9. Things like flaking paintwork and run down fittings really reduce the score which is a shame.

Review 35：Location perfect for beach and shops. My 95 yr old mother in law cant walk to far so le vere was just right. Room clean, bright, warm and very comfortable. Staff were lovely nothing was to much for them. Val and Gerry. Breakfast was very good so much choice always hot as cooked to your chosen time. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends.

Review 37：the owner got very moody when serving breakfast, as I had to put money in the car park first (the rest of the family were already sitting down and eating), throwing his arms up in the air and shaking his head and storming back out to the kitchen .No need for this reaction!

Review 40：The owners were very pleasant and kindly let me leave my luggage with them on the day of my departure to pick up in the evening so that I could spend my final day in Clacton without having to take it with me all day. I very much appreciated this gesture as I was only there 1 night and it helped me make the most of the 2 days. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good except for the tinned mushrooms which I don't really like.

Review 117：Our stay at Le Vere House couldn't have been better. Excellent accommodation, light airy room, very comfortable beds and a really good powerful shower. There was a big choice of ingredients for the cooked breakfast, which was cooked to perfection, plus a good choice of cereals. It's so close to the beach too! Lovely people running it who were so helpful. Very good value for money. We highly recommend it and definitely visit again!
