Guesthouse Baytree House sells fast on our site. Located in historic Kirkcudbright, in the old High Street, the Baytree House is a Georgian property with many original features including a vaulted ceiling, marble fireplace and a sweeping staircase. There is also a drawing room for guests' exclusive use, equipped with books, magazines, board games, TV with DVD player and a collection of DVDs.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house and guests can borrow a laptop computer if needed.
The rooms have en suite facilities with toiletries, a hairdryer, fresh towels and slippers, and other features include a flat-screen TV, DVD player, ironing facilities, tea/coffee, bottled water and welcome sherry.
In the morning at Baytree House, a buffet breakfast is available in the spacious conservatory dining room which outlooks over the pretty walled garden. A freshly cooked breakfast can also be served to your table.
Maclellan's Castle, the Tolbooth Art Centre, the Stewartry Museum and a swimming pool, as well as many independent shops, restaurants and pubs can be reached on foot in less than 5 minutes.

Review 1：There was a lovely calm atmosphere and a feeling I could relax immediately, despite my long journey. The staff were friendly & welcoming and the room was a really good size, very clean and really pleasantly decorated. All facilities were well presented and there was even a welcome sherry (very welcome!) Everything was of good quality - china, glasses, towels, soap etc. and I just felt I was being looked after. I like the thought that had been put into making my stay a good one. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and there was a good choice. The room was beautifully warm but I could alter the temperature if needed. Thank you!

Review 13：Everything! The B&B is in a beautiful old house with lots of original features. It is spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The hosts have a good eye for detail and high standards of customer service. They could not have done enough for us. The breakfast choice was excellent and very organised.

Initially we thought parking would be a problem but this was not the case - we were able to park easily. Our other concern was that it may have been noisy (re address being High Street) however it is not located in a busy high street but in a quiet residential area with easy walking disatance to shops etc
