Review 1：We booked for New Years Eve and it was perfect. Just what we needed and delightful people too. We'll definitely stay here again if visiting Saumur.

Review 2：Fabulous host, delicious breakfast, room with a view and french doors. Delightful decor and building heritage. Outstanding French restaurant down the road, a must!

Review 11：The door to the toilet is so that you have no privacy at the toilet. Minor point, but we felt like that any time we needed to use toilet.

Review 13：The air conditioning was not working & they would not give us another room. Later on only 1 of the 2 rooms we booked were moved to a room with functioning a/c. We were also charged for the room move as it was apre expensive room, but our original room was not as promised. The room without functioning a/c was only given a $10 discount.

Review 17：Just a note that we could have had a room with a better view - ours looked out onto the back of the hotel, but it did not detract from our very pleasant stay.

Review 18：Our room was refreshingly renovated in red and white. The air conditioning was the best experienced - effective and completely silent. The shower pressure was excellent. The bed extremely comfortable. The owners were very helpful and helped carry our luggage to the first floor.

Review 19：The hotel's decor was lovely and very original. Overall the whole place was very clean and clearly very well maintained. We booked the apartment which had everything we needed to cater for our own breakfast and cook a simple meal. There was ample room for four adults and a very large, well equipped bathroom.

Review 23：Location, location, location! Perfect for pretty much everything. Secure parking to the rear of the hotel was an advantage although (of course) it attracts an additional charge. WiFi was OK and the room was large and comfortable.

Review 24：Difficult to find. Car navigation kept sending us through alleys and parking lots. It's on a one-way street, and easy to pass by. Guests should be aware there are steps and no elevator.

Review 41：Charlotte & Francois Chovet are most charming and welcoming hosts who take time to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. Our room was pleasantly furnished with a spacious shower room. The excellent buffet breakfast was served in a pleasant room. We have been staying at this hotel for several years and have never been disappointed.

Review 43：Excellent location in the centre of Saumur. Very helpful and courteous staff. Secure car park at the rear of the property. No lift, but this was counteracted by assistance with our cases. Breakfast offered a good selection; and they provided gluten free bread on request for my wife. Very helpful advice given regarding the choice of restaurants; however, it is advisable to book.

Lay in bed looking at the sky and the houses, waswonderful. Hotel very tastefully and simply decorated. A delight. Saumuris beautiful and hotel well located in old town. Go on the right nightin early August when the town all dines in the street, called Les GrandTablees de Saumur, book it online. Wonderful!

Review 49：We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and clean and had wonderful character. It was in the middle of town so was a short stroll to restaurants and shops. The staff were great and breakfast was very good. We were traveling by bike and they had a big garage to store these. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly stay there again.
