We love the way how they treated their guests and both of them managed to give us comfort by giving the locations, instructions and tips to make our trip comfortable and convenient. Review 11：The Hotel is beautifully kept up every detail is attended to and the colors our very pleasing. Artemis and Anna are wonderful extremely helpful hosts. Artemis picked us up at the Ferry Port ar 01:10 hours and took us to the Ferry when we left. They are both extremely friendly and will spend any time you need answering questions about the Island. We used the wifi in the cozy office that has table and chairs and Anna would serve us copious amounts of Coffee and Tea. No wifi in rooms but this was good because we got to know all the other guests in the AM PM doing wifi. You can also use the wifi on the Patio looking at the Sea and the Pool. The only drawback is that you are a bit out of town and it is about a one mile walk to the nearest bus stop. We rented a car for a couple days and you can rent scooter or 4 wheel ATVs which a lot of people drive on the Island. Seems best way to see Samtorini is to have some wheels anyway. The beach is close and two very nice restaurants a 10 minute walk away. We especially liked Panos which is on the Beach.

Review 16：I wished that they had a fridge stocked with cheese, yogurts and some other cafe items that you could by if you felt like spending the entire day at the hotel and not moving or going anywhere, i think a honest bar would be great but Artemis and Anna are so busy that if they did this i would think that if they just had some snacks like above and chips... it would make for a better stay for those who want to relax and not move, even if they only open the little shop for a hour at say 10am to 11am, it would make the stay much more pleasant. For the rest, no complaints. Thank you Vaness.

Review 17：We loved the fact that Artemis the owner is absolutely wonderful and picks you up at the port and takes you back and both him and his wife explain the entire island to you. It is about a km from Kira which is the happening place but Artemis is on the black beach for those who like a more quite place with a pool, excellent view and a great restaurant 100 meters from his hotel. There are two restaurants but the owner of the one just below his accommodation is fantastic, amazing food and a really fantastic open air and friendly host. Artemis has to recommend both resturants but the one is the best and you can walk down another 20 meters and swim on the black beach which has brollies and loungers just perfect, but we just loved the fact we could stay at Artemis the whole time and it is 10 Euro to go to the main street so all very close and if Artemis is going that way, he will drop you off no charge. Artemis does not offer any food at there place so i suggest you take some goodies, like yogurt and some cheese and biscuits if you want to nibble but you have a fridge in your room so you can take in what you like. For the rest you need to go eat out or go to town. So make sure you bring some nibbles.

Review 19：Facilities are basic with a close location to the airport. Very helpful host who picked us up from the airport and offered to help us out whenever needed, very enthusiastic and passionate about Santorini.

Review 20：The noise of the planes is too much. Other than that it is peaceful. It is too far from anywhere if you don't have transport but only €10 by taxi from Fira. There are no cafes or places nearby to get breakfast. This was difficult for us. The rooms are very plain for the cost.

Review 21：We chose this hotel because of free transfers and closeness to the airport. Artemis and Anna are lovely and must work hard with transferring guests to airport and port at all hours. Artemis picked us up at 1am full of smiles and welcome. They helped us organise going on the volcano tour and we left our luggage there for two nights when we stayed in oia. That helped.

Review 22：We stayed in Artemis Village Hotel the first night in Santorini. To be honest, we intended to stay in Oia for our first night, but the other hotel we booked seemed to have trouble in recognizing Chinese credit cards so our reservation failed and this hotel was like our last minute decision. However, it was surprisingly good with very reasonable price. First of all, its location is not desirable unless you plan to take a flight the next morning. It is near the airport but pretty much far away from anywhere else in the island. However, the staff offers free transfer from or to port/airport and a free ride to Fira town, which in some sense offsets this disadvantage. The nearest bus station is about 20 minutes walk far away. We came back from Oia pretty late and the road back to the hotel from bus station was kinda scary. Few lights, few people down the road. In addition, the staff are very nice people who really care about your trip in Santorini. The decoration are a little bit dated but still clean and tight with an ocean view from the balcony in our rooms. For your information, this hotel doesn't accept credit card as means of payment, and only cash is ok, for whatever reason. But it's still pretty cool for us.

Review 23：Amazingly friendly host, who waited 3 hours for our late ferry fromanother island, then greeted us like long lost family! The area isreally interesting, the stone walls around the property (built by theowner) are fabulous.

Review 24：Don't trust in them, we arrive late at night with one hour delay of the plane and they fell asleep! Nobody on the reception, nobody answered the mobile phone they gave us. We had to take a taxi and banging on the door to have our room. No considerations for it at all. Really disgusting.

Review 30：About hour before leaving the owner advised my credit card payment hadn't gone through which was very odd as no reason for this. All the other places we stayed in had worked fine so they were asking for me to pay cash. Wish they had flagged this when I had arrived the day before. I was able to pay cash but left me with 3 euros for the airport. Not sure what was behind this!!

Review 31：The staff were very good. Looked after us very well dropping us into town and picking is up in the evening so really went the extra mile. Not ideal location. Very isolated and not close to the best beaches but we only used as a stopover on way home from Greek Islands.

Review 38：This hotel is run by a family, and while they were both very friendly, the wife kept insisting they only accepted cash even though it is listed on booking.com as accepting major credit cards. After pointing that out several times and speaking to the husband on the phone, he said I could certainly use a credit card if that was easier for me. We arrived a bit before our check in, and were told it would take about 30 minutes to prepare our room, but we were actually waiting around for close to two hours. I didn't mind that it took so long since we were early, but I wish we had been given a more accurate time because we probably would have just dropped our bags and left instead of waiting. No breakfast is included, there were no toiletries in the room, and it is very far away from anything really worth seeing as a tourist on Santorini. Having said that, the owners really were quite friendly and gave us a great map of tourist spots.

Review 42：Being the first Visit to Santorini we couldn't be happier! The hotel is located more towards the middle of the island so traveling to the north and south side of the island is very easy. The owners of the hotel take such good care of you while staying at their hotel that we are returning with our three children next year. All around amazing value and experience!!!

Review 56：It was really very windy while we visited Artemis. But if you are wind surfing or paragliding this is the place to stay. Our balcony overlooking the ocean (and the ugly deserted neighbour construction) was in shadow all day. So instead we enjoyed our own breakfast outside on the front of the building. One chair and a small table we took outside from the room - which Mr. Artemis did not like. Hope he will put table and chairs for next guests. The shower was really problem as the base was all to small to keep the water in. So you have water all over floor. Mr. Artemis told me this was the only shower with that problem - the other rooms it was already renovated. About the PLANES & AIRPORT very close - it made me stressed in the morning as the planes take of just over the hotel. The one plane landing in night maybe you sleep by - but I woke up as I very sensitive to noise.

Review 61：This hotel is a bit far from Fira town, so you need to rent a bike to go around. The wifi is strong in the reception area, but not in the room. So we had to go to the reception area to use wifi.

Review 62：The staff was amazing! They welcomed us warmly from the time we arrived at the Port. The hotel has shuttle car, so they will pick you up from the airport or the port. Just call them before you arrive to remind them. The hotel was very close to the beach, so it is lovely if you love the beach. It has swimming pool, daily cleaning service, free coffee or milk, tea... I really love the people there.

Review 67：We were late checkin at the hotel, and guess what, she (the owner's wife) were waiting for us outside of the hotel and greet us. What else could you ask for? She serve us with hot coffee and water before we get to our room. The room was fantastic with sunrise view. It was perfect. Strongly recommend this hotel to tourist. Especially with family.

Review 75：There is no bus station closeby so you need to rent a vehicle in order to explore. The main bus station is in Fira, No soundproofing so you wake up at everything plane taking off or when the wind is blowing strongly. The hotel is right next to the airport.

Review 87：Everything!!! The location was quiet and had all the necessities. You will need a quad or a car to get around the island, but if you are going to Santorini for a break, some quiet time, this place is perfect. Located by the beach side, with great views, quiet area, away from touristy crowds, with excellent hosts. It's a great part of the island, with cheap restaurants and shops nearby. We stayed here for five nights and it was restful lying by the pool, or going to the beach.

Review 89：Nearby down the hill was a very nice tavern. The girl is nice and clean but balconies lack privacy and the aircraft leaving the airport nearby fly over it. People very kind. Very helpful and so it's up to the person staying if you don't mind a little jet noise now and then

Review 90：The hotel is very near the airport and during the day starting from around 9:30 am and until evening you can occasionally hear the deafening sounds of the planes taking of.

Review 91：Artemis Village is located just a few minutes walk from a wonderful beach that doesn't get crowded. If you rent an ATV or a scooter it is only about 10-15 minutes ride from Fira where you can experience the nice views and night life that is offered there. What I like most though is that this hotel is a smaller, less-crowded hotel in an area that is near the beach but our of the way from the bulk of the tourist areas. You don't have to be surrounded by crowds of people there like you would be in Fira, and you still have beautiful views, and all this for a fraction of the price you'd pay for in Fira.

Review 93：One thing to be aware of is "greek time"- things just operate a little slower. Just expect when the departure time comes that you might be waiting at reception for a little bit. Also it is near the airport so you will hear planes rumbling over head, but you get used to it... it didn't taint our stay.

Review 94：The highlight is Artemis, Anna and their two daughters who are so hospitable and accommodating. They made us feel right at home. They picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off and made many trips to Fira (about a 7 minute drive away) each day. The location is nice since it's on a beach on the east side of the island. The rooms are clean and large. There is a fabulous restaurant 3 min walk up the road that overlooks the beach and serves amazing food. "Peet" is the owner and is great!

Review 99：We were very happy with our stay at Artemis, quite surprising since initially I thought it would be discouraging to stay somewhere very isolated. However, after seeing the mob of tourists in both Fira and Oia, we were very happy to escape at Artemis Village. It is very lovely to wake up with a view of the sea from our room, and to actually hear the waves. The rooms are clean, and we cannot ask for more. We also made the effort to wake up and see the sun rise just outside our terrace window. What a treat! Artemis' family--Anna, the wife and the two daughters, are genuinely happy to be of help, and always with a smile. They also want to make sure that their guests are truly enjoying their holidays. After staying in many hotels in Santorini, we conclude this is the best for the price and for the sincerity of the owners.

Review 100：Our room was a dark because it was in the basement. The facilities were lacking and our room smelled really bad because there was a leftover trash bag with cigarette stubs hidden in the cupboard. The hotel is conveniently located just at the end of the airport runway so you can almost touch the air planes flying overhead every 5-10 minutes, even at night!

Review 101：The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! The pool is actually very nice and there's a quiet large (although not a very clean) beach just around the corner.

Review 104：The house owner is really kind and helpful: Picked us from the port, always willing to take us a free ride to Fira, gives us very useful advises, always asking if we want a tea or coffee and, in the end, drive us to the airport. All these things make us feel like at home. The room itself is also clean and beautiful with a nice balcony and sea view. Good swimming pool! 2 minutes to the beach. Really enjoyed living in this place.

Review 105：Artemis is near the airport. It's good, but the planes fly very low and loud above the hotel. Often.

Review 106：The hotel was good and the staff was great. Our 3-bed room was big enough for all of us. The pool area was nice.

Review 107：Since we didn't have a reservation, we had to move rooms, but weretold we were getting a better room for the same price we paid the nightbefore. Not true! The second room was small so you had to weave around atable in the middle of the room to get between the bed and bathroom, hada tiny shower instead of a tub, had a/c that was less well placed,and with a bed that creaked very loudly with every move so we got almostno sleep that night! *The caveat to "clean" in both rooms wasthat the bedspreads are not cleaned between each guest (something mosthotels have figured out to avoid) and they lay the "clean"towels on the bedspread. The rooms don't have room numbers so Ican't tell you which room to avoid, but check the bed for creakinessbefore accepting it!

Review 108：Booked for one night but ended up staying a second because the roomwas large, clean*, had the a/c unit directed at the bed formaximum cooling, and the owner was really helpful. The second nightwas a big mistake.

Review 111：Because of its proximity to the airport, the planes are very close and loud. I could not sleep through the night because every time a plane came over, it would wake me up! Also, you need a rental car to make this location work...it is very remote with not much else around it.

Review 112：We stayed here the night before an early flight out of Santorini. The hosts were very helpful, even driving us by the airport the day before so we could find it early morning. The pool was nice and the room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Great value for the money.

Review 113：Travel logisitcs seemed an issue. We weren't picked up from the airport even though they said they would and had to take a taxi (in their defense our flight was 30min late but it was stilll inconvenient). When taking us to the port for our departure it was sort of stressful because everyone was checking out at the same time so they seemed frazzled and overwhelmed.

Review 114：Our room was spacious with a kitchen and private balcony. Every morning the staff would have coffee ready for all guests and they were very accomodating. Always available for questions and recommendations on where to visit and how to get around the island (they helped us rent a car and it was delivered and picked up from the hotel). Nice place and great value.

Review 115：We loved the location right on the water, view of the sea, private beach just steps away, the local taverna just a small walk up the road. The hospitality of Artemis and Anna. The pool is fantastic as is the wi fi. We will come back with more of our family. We loved it.

Review 118：Artemis and his wife are the nicest people and make everyone feel at home. The location near the airport is perfect for a late night arrival or early morning departure. Artemis personally picks you up at the airport which is a nice touch. Excellent value for the money - can't beat it.
