Review 61:Nothing!!!

Review 62:We really liked the welcome from Steve & Jane & the fact that they would always go the extra mile to make our stay as nice as possible. They moved us to a ground floor room with walk in shower as I was suffering with a damaged knee & found stairs difficult. Nothing was too much trouble for them & their restaurant recommendations were first class. We can see they are putting a lot of effort into upgrading the property & can't wait to come back next year. Steve's breakfast croissants & Jane's cooked breakfast are worth the trip alone!!

On the coast path, a few minutes cycle to the Tarka trail and less then 10 minutes walk into Bideford.

Review 71:1 very slight niggle - the entrance to the bathroom was a little narrow due to furniture

Review 76:Mattress sloped at either side so nearly fell out of bed

Review 77:Owners were very friendly and efficient Food was excellent Views lovely Quiet Plenty of parking

Review 78:This is a period property with lots of attention to detail, it is old fashioned but contemporary items would be out of place in a Victorian property. It is very clean and comfortable, with a lovely good quality breakfast and we had excellent service from our friendly hosts.

Review 79:Steve and Jane the owners were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable . The breakfast was excellent as were the local information about where to eat etc . Thank you we had a great time

Review 80:Breakfast served between 8.00 and 9.00 a.m., which for us was a bit too narrow a time band. We therefore often arrived just before 9.00 a.m. and then felt we had to rush. Shower temperature in bathroom difficult to control, although I'm sure this will be addressed when the planned internal works are carried out later in the year.

Review 87:The owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome. It seems very flexible with the facilities and the breakfast was great. Lots of variety of food for children.

Review 88:Hotel is defiantly ‘work in progress’ after the current owners took over this hotel in January this year (2014), rooms & bathrooms need upgrading. I’ve no doubt this will done speaking to the owners (upgrade to all the bathrooms, already planed)

Review 89:Excellent location (10 mins walk into town), free parking, spotlessly clean, excellent hosts (Jane & Steve) comfortable beds, free wi-fi, one of the best breakfast I have had in a long time
