Review 1：Immedeately we came we were meet by a friendly guy, taking our suitcases, and escorte us to our rooms. The 'breakfast lady' is a very caring and friendly lady, easy to talk with and very service minded. She even fixed brown sugar for the tea, and she made sandwich'es to the youngsters, who didn't want to get out of bed. The owners Anna and Tony and the other sstaff took time to talk with us, and gave us suggestions on what to see. The bus transportation from this place is easy to use, and takes you everywhere, from the city centre. The purpose of our visit was the Art in Clay show in Hatfield, but we found it quick n easy to get to Hatfield from St. Albans, with the bus. We liked us and can recommend the Avalon House :-)

Review 2：The water pressure for the shower wasn't great. The breakfast was ok, it was nicely cooked but the quality of the bread and the sausages could be improved and fruit could have been offered.
