Reviews for Bushmills Inn Hotel & Restaurant
Review 1:A lot of noise into the early hours of the morning and also the toilet didn't flush properly. We were in one of the original rooms.
Review 2:We had a very good breakfast
Review 3:On the pricey side compared to other area inns/b&b's/etc -- I feel like we paid for the atmosphere (but it was such a cute, historic, and romantic atmosphere that I'm okay with that.) also, this has nothing to do with Bushmills Inn, but there is nothing to do in town after about 9 pm in November!
Review 4:Bushmills inn is cute and cozy while being (hugely) spacious; staff were friendly; located very close to the things to do in Bushmills, like giant's causeway (a 5-10 minute drive) and Bushmills distillery (a two minute drive)!
Review 5:I thought the accommodation at £130 was over priced..especially on a Sunday night in November! Saying that, I did have an excellent night's sleep.
Review 6:The open fires, wine by gas light in the bar, the food was amazing and not too pricey and the staff were all very friendly.
Review 7:Too many fires going at once meant that the heat became a little too much for me at times, so retired to the library areas to read where it was a little cooler.
Review 8:The staff were very professional and so polite. This was a perfect place for us to relax properly. Loved the library room areas especially. And the food was amazing!
Review 9:It's a hotel with character in every way. Splendidly comfortable with brilliant staff. The food is hearty and well presented. Somewhere you start to relax as you step inside.
Review 10:No bad experience really, but we would have like to have eaten a light lunch in the front bar instead of in the formal dining room especially as we were the only customers.
Review 11:The whole stay was enjoyable, from the welcoming fire in reception to the fabulous food in the dining room.
Review 12:Menu choice was limited, staying for 4 nights didn't leave much choice. The valence on the (2 dingle beds zipped as one) didn't fit thus exploding the bed. Our room was next to the lift - very noisy, sounded like people dragging furniture around! Plus our room had an interconnecting door - woken at 3.30am by person returning in adjoining room! Very loud & noisy! Breakfast staff very slow, didn't seem to be able to coordinate bringing tea/toast/breakfast even with small number of guests!
Review 13:Free Elemis products! Hotel was lovely as was the food
Review 14:Breakfast haddock and scrambled egg just doesn't go with SWEET wheaten bread. Wifi requires registering with a service instead of simply entering a password. Useless for me because I don't want to sign up to anything for a hotel wifi.
Review 15:Excellent location in town, nice décor and extremely helpful reception. Quiet well-equipped rooms.
Review 16:Couldn't order food in bar on arrival as it was 5 mins after final orders. Fire alarm went off, no information regarding a test etc, spoiled our romantic morning as we jumped out of bed got dressed packed etc. no explanation or apology. We ordered champagne and were brought sparking wine. No flexibility for residents ( popular drop in place for tourists) We asked to see a manger and told none available. By the time I left I was in tears. So disappointing. We were charged €25 /£15 for bring breakfast to room, without telling us. Total bill for 1 night B&B with 2 starters each for dinner €420. We could have stayed in 5star in Paris!
Review 17:Beautiful fireplaces in common areas, unfortunately most not lit.
Review 18:Would prefer duvet to blankets No fridge available More healthy breakfast alternatives such as smoothies or natural Bircher meusli Limited bar cocktails
Review 19:Closet room for clothes amazing Dressing gown and slippers Ironing facility Mineral water availability Cosines of rooms and layout Pullout washing line over bath Printout of weekly forecasted weather
Review 20:Dinner menu wasn't very wide. Nor was it as tasty as expected. 3.50 sterling for some garlic dipped chips on top of 23 for a fillet is gilding the lily! We should have ate elsewhere in hindsight. So should you.
Review 21:Ambience, atmosphere, all staff seem local and lovely. Super location. Super bedroom. Firelit nooks and crannys everywhere. The place is a treat.
Review 22:The food was fantastic, staff were very friendly, helpful and local! large bedroom and very comfortable large bed. lovely bathroom and toiletries. Cosy lounge and bar for coffee and after dinner drinks. A truly delightful stay on a cold Christmas night!
Review 23:Some of the tables in the dining room which we were shown to we're impossibly small with no space to get legs into them particularly for older guests. There was also no friendly rapport between staff and guests which we experienced at other hotels.
Review 24:Character of the hotel and rooms which were unique and particularly we'll designed and very comfortable.
Review 25:We loved our stay but the lighting in the room was very dim, with no overhead light, only lamps.
Review 26:Our room at the Bushmills inn was perfect, with the feel of staying in a centuries-old coaching inn but all the modern luxuries laid on - quality toiletries, bathrobes, Internet in room, etc. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and couldn't fault the food. There are coal/peat fires burning in the reception areas and guests are allowed to add the coal/peat themselves, which we thought was a nice touch. The staff, although mostly quite young, were informed and helpful.
Review 27:An all round attractive hotel. The staff, particularly in the restaurant were first class - excellent service and delightfully friendly and helpful. Food very good and the 16 year old malt Bushmills whiskey not to be missed. Located close to the Giant's Causeway a really good comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended
Review 28:That we couldn't stay longer.
Review 29:The ambiance and comfort made our Bushmills experience more than just memorable. The kindness and friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the bedroom and the beautifully presented food will stay with us for years to come. Just a beautiful, beautiful place!

Review 81:Location was excellent. Hotel was clean and sets a high standard.
Review 82:just a bit pricey, would not mind paying the amount I did if it had leisure facilities.
Review 83:needed a well deserved rest from touring, staff were excellent, food outstanding, really first class.
Review 84:The poached and scrambled eggs at breakfast were totally overcooked. Indeed, there seems to be a much lower standard of cooking and in some cases also waitressing at breakfast.
Review 85:Overall just a fantastic place. Yvonne is a great waitress, and Andy is an excellent barman runs runs a magnificent bar very well. The quality of the evening meal was superb.
Review 86:The room (particularly the bed) the location, the food and especially the staff, all of whom were customer focussed, freindly and very helpful.
Review 87:The dinner was not great. The food was only fair We were hotel guests but were stuck into a tiny tiny table. The cost per night of £178 for a room was very expensive. + £66 for dinner.
Review 88:Loved the open fire The friendy staff The beer garden
Review 89:Always very difficult to fault The Bushmills Inn.. And this may seem trivial.. However I think they should play only Classical or more old fashioned background music,as they used to.. Not the modern pop music we heard this time..
Review 90:Relaxed ambience ... Fabulous service.. Superb restaurant.. Stunning rooms.. Turf fires and cozy atmosphere..
Review 91:Nothing!
Review 92:Great Food!
