Review 1：Amazing, friendly staff. They really do go the extra mile for their guests. The pool and pool bar were great! The bar tender made us some delicious drinks. Good location, not a problem to walk into Fira (about 20-25 minutes) or you can easily take the bus. I think families with young children would prefer the latter option as there isn't a proper footpath the whole way and quite a few corners where you have to stick really close to the side of the road. All in all a wonderful experience and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Review 4：When we talk about accomodation it is very rare that you'll encounter a family-like treatment specially from the owner. My Stay at Villa Manos was superb! Aside from it is very affordable, clean and in good location you will be greeted with smile from staff and owner. They also gave me glass of wine as a welcome drink. The lady at the reception was so nice and explained to me what i needed to know about Santorini and my stay. On my first night, i was entertained at the pool bar, they have a great music at the bar and relaxing ambiance. I also enjoyed my Moussaka Dinner prepared with love. Miss Poppy was very accomodating and hands on. She makes sure that her guests will have a good stay and most importantly she will make you feel the love of a Mother. The facilities was clean and very relaxing, a perfect Villa for single like me, couple and for family. I would really recommend this place for those who are visiting Santorini. I've seen how she treated the other guests and i would say she has a pure loving heart. This Villa is world Class! From airport, there is a bus station for 1.80 euro and will take you to Villa Manos but you're on vacation, get a transfer from Miss Poppy. Miss Poppy, thank you for everything. :-)

Review 13：The location reflected in the great price - it was a 20 min walk into Fira on busy roads that had no foot paths. So we hired a car to get around which gave us easy access to all the beautiful places on the island.

Review 15：The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Instead of arranging for taxis, they offered to drive us instead (which was cheaper than a standard taxi). They also helped set up any means of transportation around the island and gave us info on tours, beaches, etc. Highly recommend staying here.

We received a welcome drink on arrival and during our last dinner at Villa Manos we were given a glass of wine complimentary as well as a bottle of wine as a goodbye present. Review 17：A peacefull little oasis ,nice clean rooms with balcony and all areas lovely sea views property not overlooked, lovely pool and bar area, staff so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble, great quiet location but right on the main bus route to all areas of the island, buses very good and frequent. Would definitely stay again.

Review 24：The hotel is not walking distance to anything. It's in between Fira & Kamari, so a bus needs to be taken to go anywhere. The bus is unpredictable and didn't follow the time schedule. It made traveling a little inconvenient.

Review 28：Wifi seems to be turned off every night between 11pm and 8am which is unfortunate when you are trying to reach loved ones back in North America. The bar by the pool plays music each night till midnight....ask for a room far from the pool if you don't want to hear the music this late.

Review 36：We absolutely loved our stay here! We had come all the way from Australia. We're a group of 5 girls and they looked after us very well. Heaps of information on offer to us. They were very helpful for me especially, who left something important behind and had to have it mailed to the hotel. They were very helpful in getting our mail to us :)

Everything is nearby, they gave us plenty of information, arranged atv rent by lower price. Bus station is 2 mins from Villa, Fira 15 mins by walk. Can't say how great pleasure was staying in this hotel! I strongly recommend it!

Review 57：need transport if staying here as the 2klm walk (30min) into town is really not pedestrian friendly,some sections with zero pedestrian space and you have to walk on a very busy road. Ok if you have a rental. Dont listen to the reviews that say its 10 - 15minutes.

They were extremely friendly and made you feel like family. The facilities are great for the value and it's in beautiful setting which feels isolated enough to seem like it's on a mini-island but also incredibly close to Fira and everything going on around the rest of the island. I can't say enough for the people at the hotel and the hotel itself - absolutely spectacular.

Review 75：Very nice hotel, I especially love the host. Poppy and Vangelis are very welcoming and very helpful. The hotel picked me up at the airport and took me there upon leaving. I spent quite some times having fun at the poolside bar with Vangelis, he always make me great special, personalized cocktail. As I traveled alone, Vangelis also helped me to make connection with other lone travelers, that made my stay in Santorini much more interesting. Brief, be there and enjoy!

Review 79：Good location, right between oia and the beaches so it wasn't a long trip to get to one or the other. Great staff: informational about what to see and do and also provided free pick up from the bus station at 1 am, we had a small glitch in our bedding situation and they were more than accommodating trying to fix it for us as well as gave us a bottle of wine when we left to make up for our temporary discomfort. Great rooms: two single beds put together (typical, with extra blankets so we didn't get cold, bathroom was so beautiful with a private partitioned tiled shower area and nice shower head, cute kitchen area with a table and chairs as well as a patio with a table and chairs, large room. Pool was cold but felt amazing and it was a blast hanging out by the pool bar. we went during the off season so it was quiet. We also got to see the sunrise beautifully over the water. Unexpected surprise.

Review 80：They picked us up at the Port, unexpectedly. As soon as we got to the Villa, Mrs Poppy and daughter suggested places to go, beat value, do and don't, gave a run down of the Villa. Rooms well renovated, upgrade to a balcony suite, well worth it. Clean, beautiful pool, relaxing, fridge in room, air conditioning. 15 minute walk to Fira. One day Mrs Poppy saw my wife and I walking into town and she picked us up and drove us into town. Another thing is its cheap great value.

Review 81：Poppy and the staff were so friendly!! The room was big and spacious, the pool and bar area were beautiful and the bus stop across the road gives you very easy to access to everywheee on the island. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Santorini!

There is a separate dining area, and the biggest shower we've seen our whole trip! Before even meeting poppy I was impressed. But she went completely out of her way to help us, and treated us as if we were part of the family. We had issues with the ferry, and without her help, we would have been stuck. She made sure everything was perfect for us, and never stopped smiling, even at midnight! I can not recommend this place highly enough. It is such great value for money, and a really well rounded family business. Her husband was lovely too!

Nice rooms and facilities. Free shuttle picked us up and dropped off at the port in the middle of the night. The location is also good - we enjoyed our daily 15 min walk to Fira and back, otherwise its a 3 min bus ride (the bus stop is outside the hotel). Staff are just excellent and very helpful. We had a fantastic time at Villa Manos. After only a few days of stay it felt like leaving good friends there. Thanks again guys, you are the best!!!

The staff is very friendly here and they made us feel very much at home all the time. They even offered complimentary airport pickup. The rooms are simple and provide good value for money because they contain the essentials: good beds and fast wifi at a quiet location. The best way to discover the island is to rent a vehicle/ATV/bike and explore on your own. We were able to cover the entire island this way.

Definitely a nice place to stay for a while in a good price. Poppie gave us a bottle of wine when we left. That was a beautiful gesture! :) -- Nearby there is a coffee place which serves Santorini Tomatini in greek yogurt. Sounds weird, but is delicious!

Review 112：A wonderful place to stay in Santorini! Suprisingly beautiful! Everything was perfect, nice decoration, great pool with a nice view! The satff's hospitality is fantastic! They have a free transfer to port and aeroport which was a great surprise! Also very helpful, they have contacts with many rental and tour agencies. In our case we asked for a motorbike and in 10minutes the guy from the agency picked us at the hotel..just perfect! Also there's a bus station next to the hotel to take you to the center of fira. We had a problem which was booking fault (we changed our number of nights but booking didn't tell the hotel) but was easily fixed, always with the owner in good mood and super nice. Great job!!

Review 113：Need a car or use bus since there is much traffic and narrow road to Fira (the closest city). The room was not so nice - no cooking/kitchen, not so functional interior, not so fresh.

Review 115：While imo the best stay, the location is not the best. If by walking from Fira, there is a 200 m road that has no pedestrian lane. So u hv to walk right next to cars. While we were not hit by car, it may feel dangerous to some. But u can take a local bus from Fira to Kamari and get off just opposite the villa. It cost 1.6€ per trip. Also, the glass door to balcony cannot be fixed when opened. At night the wind is strong and the door will keep banging if left open. So we could not open the door for natural ventilation. The villa made it up with air conditioning, but really, wouldn't the night breeze of Santorini be better than an air con? They are just minor set backs. Don't let these discourage u from choosing it, cos it is really an excellent place with excellent people.

Review 116：The staff is really great. The owner (I assume she is) was more friendly than any other staff we met in other hotel/hostels. We had free transfer to the port when we left (after checkout!). And there's a red wine as a parting gift. This is the best stay we had. Really excellent value for the money.
