Review 1：We spent a wonderful Christmas week at the hotel - excellent breakfasts, fine dining, superb service, beautiful views and a very relaxing spa area. Christmas Eve was made very special with the events organised by the hotel.

Review 2：We were for the New Years Eve, and spend there 4 nights, was really long way, and we want to see mountain view, Hotel personal showed us were we could see this view, but there was no information that this is 8 euro per person, and there was nothing to see...in the other town there sky lifts,.. but personal didn't inform us, it is king of compotition maybe ;) hoever we found by our self... and i think was not enought info...it should be more...

Review 4：Room was a little smaller than we expected and lack of air conditioning could be a problem in the summer. We had room 301, great view of lake with balcony, but air circulation was not the best. Hotel provided us with a fan, that made up for the air circulation.

Review 7：The spa on the lake was teriffic!!! We used the spa everyday during our stay. The staff were also friendly that really made us feel like home. We lived in an apartment which was about 5min walk from the hotel reception (the main hotel building). As the town is small, the location of the apartment is not a problem, but you will just need to take more walks if you want to enjoy more hotel facilities.

Review 8：I booked a suite (room 406) in the main building and unfortunately it smelled of cold smoke. Was really bothersome during sleeping as the smell did not go away. Asked the front office if they could switch us to a different room with the same amities. The hotel should really make sure that these things don't happen in today's environment.

Review 9：Nice hotel in the middle of St Wolfgang with great facilities and access to a variety of activities (hiking, boat tour, good restaurants).

Review 10：They allowed very young kids to swim the in outdoor lake-pool with nodiapers on----bare asses---they were not potty trained!! Gross. And noone monitored the fact that kids were allowed to stay in the hot tub forat least an hour or two!! Kids are not supposed to be long times, ifever, in hot tubs. Also the large mixed fruit bowl at breakfast tastedand looked rotten all 3 days we were there.

Review 14：1. Please verify by calling the hotel about their checkin times. We had checkin time mentioned as 3pm on our confirmation. Reached the property at 2:15pm and were told the apartment will be ready by 3pm. We went for lunch and came back by 3:30pm only to be told that the apartment won't be ready before 5pm. Also they said booking.com have incorrectly mentioned check in time for 3 when it is 4pm according to them. After me threatening to complain I was offered a similar apartment on one floor above straightaway without wait. I was a bit baffled at this approach, that why did they not offer the one which was ready in the first instance.2. The apartments are good 15 min walk from the main hotel and has NO LIFT. The staircases are big and our apartment was on second floor. There are total of 3 floors in the building after the ground floor.3. There is one person who stays in the ground floor apartment who is supposed to help the guests but after day 1 we never saw him again despite us ringing the door bell as well at different times.4. There is a free boat shuttle service from the apartments to the hotel from 10Am to 6PM but can close without notice anytime.We had SPA appointments and were very tired but when we reached the boat landing we were told that the boat service is not working. No reason given for the same. Upon reaching the main hotel and enquiring at reception all we were told was - I DONT KNOW - very rudely by the reception staff which made me very angry and spoiled the mood. If no one knows, how will the guys know?5. Racist - I am very careful in writing this down as I understand fully the meaning of this word. WE were the only English speaking people in the hotel (best guess) and the apartments and Brown as Indian descent - the behaviour of the staff from the reception, apartment to the Bar. Staff and people in the hotel would look at us as if we were from a different planet.

Review 62：Oh, what a disappointment. We stayed at the hotel a few years ago and loved it. Having visited St Wolfgang many times since and getting off the boat at the Schafberg station, we had walked by the so called Romantik Residence owned by the hotel. The brocure makes them look attractive. I had enquired in the past and they were very expensive. However, wanting just a short break in the Salzkammergut, we found a price on 'Bookings.com', which while still very expensive for self-catering (123 euros per night for a 2 person apartment), we decided to go with it because of the expected quality of accomodation and the location. Now I must try to be fair, as when we stayed in the hotel at the end of May one year the weather was glorious and this time the weather was rather wet and so that it not the hotel's fault. However, we recognise that 'you get what you pay for' and have learned that to get good quality self-catering in Austria you need to pay 70 - 90 euros a night. The inside of the apartment did not match the price. It all seemed quite dated. The seating was uncomfortable. The kitchenette had no microwave, no toaster and no dishwasher, which one really would expect for that money. Worst of all, the apartment turned out to be in the loft. My wife has bad legs and climbing over 67 stairs every time we went out (or more accuratly, every time we came in) ,really spoiled the holiday. Sleep quality was poor due to the windows having woefully inadequate blinds. At dawn the light streamed in through the window around the gaps left by the blinds. As a guest you do have complimentary use of the lovely swimming facilities at the main hotel but we only used these once. This is because guest in the main hotel change for swimming in their rooms and come down in their bath rooms. If you are staying in the appartments you arrive in the spa area fully clothed and stand out rather. With British reserve we felt uncomfortable amongst the ;proper guests.

Review 64：Fabulous location and good spa facilities. "Floating" pool and jacuzzi in the lake heated to about 30 degrees. Breakfast was extensive with the offer of eggs cooked to order. Staff addressed us by name at breakfast. Waterproof jackets, dressing gowns and slippers in the rooms.

Review 66：A lovely hotel, everything simply perfect, couldn' t really ask for more. Perfect for a romantic and relaxing holiday. Location is beautiful - right in the center of the small but charming town of St Wolfgang. We took a ride round the lake and the area and decided that St Wolfgang was the most beautiful village here, so we really enjoyed choosing it for our winter holidays. There are small shops around, nice traditional restaurants and a beautiful promenade by the lake to take a stroll. During the winter holidays there is a small Christmas market here offering a nice and cheerful atmosphere. The village itself is full of Christmas lights, like in a fairytale. Regarding the hotel, the room we've had was very spacious and nice, elegantly decorated, with a big balcony facing the lake and the mountains. Breakfast just wonderful, everything you could imagine was there, a large buffet with hot and cold dishes, just delicious, with healthy choices if you wanted but also with traditional products. Also the view over the lake was fantastic, so this breakfast has been the perfect start for every day of our holiday. We've also enjoyed the spa by the lake - the outside heated pool and the whirlpool - what an amazing experience to stay outside în the wintertime cold and enjoy a hot and relaxing bath looking at the lake and the mountains. Also the inside area is very nice with various types of saunas, a family pool and relaxing areas. The spa treatments and massages we've tried were also a treat. And the best part was in small details that made everything perfect - the chocolates waiting on the pillow every day, the hotel newspaper on the table at the breakfast, the daily activities proposed by the hotel owners and so many other things. We really felt welcomed here, the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is not a bad thing that we could say about this hotel. Congrats to the owners and all the people working here.

Review 67：We were unaware there was a charge for tokens to use the washing machineand tumble dryer. The apartment we stayed in is a short walking distancefrom the main hotel and the check out was meant to be earlier (10amrather than 12pm) compared with the main hotel. Luckily our bookingconfirmation with booking.com stated 12pm so the hotel honoured it butwe couldn't work out why they were in a bit of a panic over it whenit was really low season and I doubt they had more guests staying there.Also you get one robe and slippers for your stay but there is no whereto leave them to dry out from one day to the next!

Review 89：I think the food was very disappointing. Also, I knew the hotel some thirteen years ago and it seems to have expanded quite considerably since then. It is too large for such a small and friendly place like St. Wolfgang, and I would not stay again. I would prefer to be somewhere quieter. About the food, I must say that the breakfast was excellent.
